The Executive’s Secret
A Secret Billionaire Romance, Book 2
By: Kimberley Montpetit
Narrated by: Stephanie Nemeth-Parker
High school reunions can bring out the most surprises in people. Kira was a promising pianist who’s path went from Juliard to taking care of her ailing father. Caleb was the school nerd, the one who kept to himself and now is a successful business owner. His crush on Kira has lasted for years. She’s he one who got away. Will these two find their happily ever after? With secrets, pride and love, we will listen to see! Kimberly Montpetit writes the most interesting characters. Using the arts is one of my favorite things, and Kira’s talent playing piano is wonderful. It’s even better that Caleb recognizes her dreams. Caleb is truly a remarkable man. He has had it tough, but broken and rebuilt he is amazing. It’s the secret he keeps that may be his undoing. This is a beautiful, easy listen and I am looking forward to the next!
Stephanie Nemeth-Parker is a gem. She narrates with emotion, and has a great variety of voices, easy to distinguish and enjoyable. She brought this story to life.

Heartfelt
This is another beautiful story in this series. Caleb came from the worse background and became a billionaire with a lot of hard work. Kira played music in school and studied hard for scholarship money but ended up coming home after dad’s accident. The meet again. She’s the girl that got away.
Everyone has high school crushes, but Caleb Davenport never got over his crush on Kira Bancroft. Caleb had a rough time in high school, acting out over his situation at home, and getting into trouble, but he’s spent the last 10 years building his start up company and now it’s worth millions, yet he still thinks about Kira and wonders where she is. Kira had dreams of going to Juilliard to become a concert pianist, but her dad’s accident sent those dreams crashing just like the car that crashed into her dad and put him in a wheelchair. Now she’s waiting tables at an upscale restaurant to pay her bills and try to help her parents. After a long flight back home, Caleb and his friends, who are also his business partners, go out to eat and he’s shocked to see that Kira is their waitress. She doesn’t recognize any of them, especially Caleb. He takes this opportunity to ask her to meet them at their 10 year high school reunion, he’s definitely not letting Kira get away again.
I really liked Caleb–he’s kind, generous, and completely swoony. He had a rough life in high school, but turned himself around and now has a company that helps people. He wasn’t going to let Kira slip out of his life again. It must’ve been really hard for him to confess his secret to her and then have her say she didn’t want to see him again.
I thought Kira was really selfless to give up her dream and move back home to help take care of her dad. I did think she kind of overreacted a little when Caleb confessed his secret to her. I was happy when she came to her senses and realized that. Caleb is a great guy and she’d be foolish to let him get away.
I listened to the audiobook and liked the narrator. She helped get me into the story and kept my attention as I do other things while listening to books.
Caleb even been in love with Kira since high school. But he was to shy to e enmienda speak to her. He isn’t been looking for her the last ten years. Can he convince her to give him a chance after they reconnect just before their ten years high school reunion? He is now a handsome billionaire and she is struggling working as a waitress after dropping her dream at Juilliard. A sweet love story. Great audiobook

Good, Clean, Sweet Billionaire Romance
I enjoyed this story greatly. It is set in an area that I am very familiar with and is a good story, as well. The plot was fun and intriguing. There are quite a few references to ‘Pride and Prejudice’ that passed me by, as I haven’t read that book. Additionally, the formal English address that the couple affects drove me batty.
I received this book for free and voluntarily chose to post my honest review.
