Evan
I’m back, and little Vyolet is all grown up.
Sweet. Gorgeous. Gentle.
Everything my filthy desires crave.
I’ll bind her wrists.
Feel her curves under my body.
Pull her hair while I take her rough from behind.
I know it’s wrong.
I know taking her could ruin everything.
But I don’t care.
I will make her mine.
Whatever it takes.

When a horrible accident leaves Evan with custody of his young niece, he feels the weight of hurt, anger and confusion on his shoulders. He snaps at his boss, he leaves his home and rushes to be with his niece. It also finds him face to face with someone he has known for a long time, only this time she is all grown up, and he is finding himself drawn to her, one of his best friend’s triplets.
The triplets may all still look alike, but they have different personalities entirely. All three of the girls are notified by their mother about what has happened to “Uncle Evan” (since that is what they have called him forever.) Vyolet is the one who sees Evan in a local cafe and starts a conversation with him. Funny thing, she doesn’t remember him being so handsome, and wanting to be near him all the time like she does now. She tries to help him during his time of grief, as well as for his young niece.
They dance around the obvious spark they feel for one another, mainly because that seems like the right thing to do. They have no reason to hide being seen together some of the time, since Evan is taking over as parent for his niece, and needs help. It also doesn’t take long until these two can no longer deny what they feel.
Small towns have a way about them, news and gossip travels faster than the speed of light. As just at that speed, Vyolet’s mom hears about what is happening between Evan and Vyolet. Being the mother, she decides to have a chat with Evan. That discussion has severe consequences to all parties involved. It also takes one of the sisters apologizing to Vyolet for something as well as help her cure her broken heart.
Leaving was not easy on Evan or his niece. But being back home, and getting into a routine is happening. This is how it is to be. Until an unexpected doorbell ring, there is no going back from here. Shock, joy and love are present the moment Evan and Vyolet are standing facing each other. No more denying what is meant to be, and that just so happens to be just what they need and want. With this surprise and another little announcement, Evan and Vyolet are on their road to happily ever afterville.
This book was hot and one-click and you are in book-orgasm. Pure pleasure. Decant—sums up Evan and Vyolet’s relationship quite succinctly. This is the ultimate taboo of older man/younger woman forbidden love story. Sordid but once you become a part of their lives, the unpleasantness falls away. Although taboo, this was a beautiful love story that was so well done; it held my attention and was entertaining, but also was heartwarming and emotional. I am a sucker for forbidden love—especially, the age gap between the characters. Vyolet is the oldest of the Viera triplets and a school teacher. Evan Collier is tall, handsome, and sexy. He is Vyolet father’s best friend from college. Evan returns to his hometown when he finds out that his sister and brother-in-law died in a car accident. Now, Evan has to take care of his niece. When Evan (Uncle Evan) sees Vyolet again at her father’s house, the chemistry between them is electric—the sex is off-the-chart hot! Evan should have never seen Vyolet as more than his best friend’s daughter, but chasing her could cost him his friendship with his best friend—but the heart wants what it wants. One taste of Vyolet and to hell with the fallout! Read how their lives have changed and if their relationship causes problems with her family and his niece—what happens next!! The scenes are well written, fast-paced and flow smoothly from one scene to the next. The book will pique your interest and draw you in from the beginning to the very end
I enjoyed reading Evan and Vyolet’s story. It was fast paced, edgy and full of steamy goodness. What started out with tragedy ended up becoming a true homecoming for all involved.
The story is good, well written with great characters. I breezed through it without even blinking, I was so caught up in the story. I am eager to read Maya and Yvette’s stories as well, as I know they will be just as good as Vyolet’s was!
If you like an older man/younger women, best friend’s daughter type of book, then this is for you.
