Praise for TRAINER:
”… “As always, Eros brings her strong writing style to the table with this installment of the Road Kill MC series. She digs deep into her main characters’ psyches and puts it all on the table, for better or worse. The story is woven around a dark character study of abuse, both past and current. While one character struggles to overcome a long history of abuse, another who has never known abuse is subjected to it.
Much of the story is violent and gritty, but never devoid of true emotion. Trainer certainly is not for the faint of heart, but I’m quite certain the Road Kill MC series was never meant to be anything less than gritty. Eros has a way of describing the most gruesome situations and visuals with the most beautiful words and poetic turns of phrase, and that ability never fails to draw me into her stories.” – Stefanie B., Line Editor, Red Adept Editing
Synopsis:
Brett Rife is dumb. Stupid. Slow.
At least – that’s what people assume. That’s what the parade of men who came through his and Mama’s house during his childhood fed him like poison on a spoon.
Then Brett grew up and when his Mama’s threatened, he takes care of what he must. When Road Kill MC trio, Noose, Wring and Lariat, get caught up in Brett’s mess, they see the raw potential of the man – to become a brother.
Brett Rife becomes Trainer, and gets the family he never had. Trainer doesn’t know how to love, he’s never been taught. He gives up, seeking solace in the clubwhores.
Until Krista Glass.
Krista is a special needs teacher. When she’s faced with a forced sabbatical, she doesn’t get assigned her regular, early elementary students. Instead, Krista gets three adults.
One man is so quietly brutal, so deep – so unreachable – Krista’s not sure she can help him.
Until she finds that Trainer helps her in ways Krista never knew she wanted.
Needed.
As the stakes rise, and a dangerous man begins to threaten Krista, will Trainer compromise his position within RK MC and the courts to protect her?
Trainer is a full-length, standalone romantic suspense novel with hot sex, no cheating, strong language, an HEA ending and NO CLIFFHANGERS. Contains disturbing themes that might be uncomfortable for some. Perfect for fans of Joanna Wylde, and who also like the dark fare of Pepper Winters.

Trainer is patched into the Road Kill MC club now. He is very tough but has had to be with the very hard life he has led. Always told he was dumb and stupid. And of course he believed it as when you are told something all of the time you believe it. He is illiterate but not stupid. Then he meets Krista, a special needs teacher. He has to attend class with her as part of his punishment for something he did. Then sparks fly between them. Can Krista help Trainer with what he needs? Once again a fabulous book in this wonderful series.
I loved it, being a huge fan of the series was sooo sooo glad to read another winner!!
I loved the incredible twists and the interesting characters and the fantastic story line.
Trainer and his beautiful soul are wrecked and lost until Krista comes and changes the pain to passion and love.
Krista is a courageous and incredible empathetic character.
I loved getting more of Noose one of my Favourites!!!
The story was incredibly refreshing, to have to learn at an adult age to get through living without the skills to just get by and manage to do it effortlessly.
There is mega evil a brewin in this instalment and Allen is by far one of the many most evil characters M.Eros has written.
All up Amazing!!!! Marata Eros is Queen of the twists and Super Queen of the villains!!!The magnitude of amazing characters in this story is utterly amazing, I want all their stories so excited and intrigued now about Viper!!
Now Im off to find my own pale green eyed Biker.
Love this series!!!
I’d be lying if I didn’t admit that I’ve been waiting for Trainer’s story since the first moment he appears in the series. He is such a brilliant individual who fights against a common disability that gets mistreated, misdiagnosed, or remains untreated more often than any of us would like to believe. He had a horrific childhood but grew up to be a huge man with an unshakable need to protect those around him who can’t protect themselves. He becomes an integral part of Road Kill MC, and when things go sideways, his only hope of survival is the beautiful special education teacher, Krista Glass. She sees something in him others don’t see, and when push comes to shove, he becomes just as much her salvation as she is his.
Trainer had a special spot in my heart the moment I met him in Noose’s story. He makes some mistakes, but there’s something about him that is so endearing. And Krista is a strong heroine who has high expectations and works hard to reach her goals. She is perfect in her chosen profession, and her backstory, as we discover when we move through the story, is as frightening as any ugly nightmare a person can imagine. As hard as she fights to gain control over her life, Trainer fights just as hard for control over his. And no matter how things seem, he is not one to give up easily. I love his grit and determination, and there is a kindness and sweetness in his heart that made me root for him from the start. And let’s face it, like all of the MC members, he is hot and sexy, so the steam is extra special. I don’t think the author will be able to top this story, but I don’t think that is her intention either. Each of these men is unique and special in his own way, and that’s just the way I like them. Another fantastic Road Kill Motorcycle Club story that makes me thirst for the next.
