Fire and Love is the third novel in the Firefighters of Long Valley series, although all books in the Long Valley world can be read as standalones. It has some strong language, and oh my, sexy times. Enjoy!

I loved Fire and Love! I think this is Erin Wright’s best book yet. Her books have all been good but the writing and polish just keeps getting better.
This is Levi and Tenney’s story. Levi grew up in Long Valley as the son of the town drunk. His mom ran off when he was little and left him with his father. Levi had to learn quickly how to survive. He earned money for his own food and often went hungry. His father took the frustrations of his life out on Levi, often with his fists. The one bright spot in his life was his best friend, Moose. Levi spent a lot of time at Moose’s house. Moose’s family fed him and he was safe there. Moose’s dad even paid for Levi to go to school to learn welding and then gave him a job at the John Deere dealership he owned. Levi is grown up now and has a house, food to eat and his friend, Moose. But he’s still alone.
Tenney grew up as the oldest daughter of the richest man in town. She had everything given to her. Her father, as the oldest son, inherited everything that his father had worked his whole life for while his younger brother got nothing. From a young age, Tenney knew that her parents and Moose’s parents planned for her and Moose to marry and join the two richest families in town. Only thing was she and Moose didn’t feel that way about each other. Secretly, Tenney was always interested in someone else, Levi. Moose was always interested in Georgia, Tenney’s cousin and the daughter of the her father’s brother, the son who got nothing. Georgia was also Levi’s girlfriend. In the last story, Moose and Georgia wound up together.
Tenney and Levi are both free now. But can the man, who grew up as the son of the town drunk, and the girl who grew up as the daughter of the richest man in town, make a relationship work?
This story was great. It shows you that you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover and that things are not always what they seem to be. This book has a lot of twists and turns and it kept me captivated. This is the third book in the Firefighters of Long Valley. The characters from the other books in this series as well, as the author’s other Long Valley books, walk through all of the different books. You certainly don’t have to read any of the other books to read and enjoy this one. But I really think you should because otherwise you’ll wind up missing a lot of great stories.
This emotional firestorm will keep you entranced…
Levi felt left out when Moose and Georgia fell in love. His best friend is now trading spit more than spending time with him. Now Moose wants to invite Georgia and Tennessee to go on a GUYS camping trip? If opposites attract Levi and Tenny should be doubly so, but their attraction is be both fun and a curse. Levi and Tenny have mega baggage. This is good for our reading pleasure, and suspense, as we turn the pages as fast as we can to see how this intriguing couple navigate letting truth rule their lives.
There are so many secrets in this book that you have to read it.
Levi has always loved Tennessee or the one she let everyone see even though she was supposed to marry his best friend. Tennessee has always secretly liked Levi but his dad was the town drunk. Levi and Moose are supposed to go on camping trip like they do every year but Moose wants to bring Georgia and they suggest Levi ask Tennessee to come along as just a friend. It is an interesting weekend as they get to know each other and some of their walls are brought down. They continue to see each other and start to see the real people under the façade they have been putting up for everyone else for all these years. Tennessee gets the courage to leave her parents home with just her clothes and has Levi teach her how to weld. Then secrets start to be revealed and tempers flair and things are said that can’t be taken back. Can Levi and Tennessee weather these storms and come out the other side stronger for them or will they break them up forever? Is Tennessee learning to weld just for fun or will she eventually do something with it?
Tenesse is the perfect girl, beautiful, rich, well raised. Levi is just the Opposite, poor, raised by his drunken father, knowing nothing about his mother. When they go camping with Moose and Georgia, they can’t stop fighting but they feel a real attraction. Can they have a future together? They will face their past, their secrets and together they will be stronger. A beautiful love and live story.
Fire and Love is an opposites attract romance. Levi is the son of the town drunk. Tennessee comes from one of Long Valley’s most prominent families. Sometimes appearances can be deceiving. What Erin Wright’s sparkling characters come alive as they work through their problems to find their happily ever after. There is a lot of emotional baggage in this fascinating story.
What a wonderful addition to the Firefighters of Long Valley series!
This is Levi and Tennessee’s story. We met both of them in Inferno of Love. Levi is one of the firefighters – also a welder for the local John Deere distributor. Tennessee is the daughter of a prominent farmer in the community and a former Prom Queen, winner of the Junior Miss and a runner up to the Miss Idaho beauty contest.
Do they sound like opposites? What could they possibly have in common? How does their story unfold? Do they find their HEA?
This is a great love story with characters that jump off the page like real-life people dealing with real-life issues. The reader is drawn into the story as if they’re listening to their own friends talking.
Truly an enjoyable story!
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is the third and final book in the Firefighters of Long Island Series. This book can be read as a standalone. Lots of sexy scenes and rough language. Talk about steamy and on fire, this book will keep your Kindle smoking. Well written with likable characters and an engaging storyline. I read a reader copy via Boosprout and voluntarily chose to write a review.
