This story makes you think. It takes place t the end of a divorce when an old friendship is rekindled. A very touching and exciting story.
I enjoyed reading Love Conquers All. It showed imperfect characters find courage as they built up their faith in God and each other. I did not read this book in order in the series, but this story stands on its on. I recommend this book if you like clean stories with heart.
I have enjoyed all Lorana Hoopes’ books. Love Conquers All is Christian fiction with imperfect heroes. It is about life being messy, God’s grace and unconditional love, deep secrets, second chances and forgiveness. It has wonderfully written characters and some plot twists. I highly recommend it.
I enjoyed this book from start to finish. I was waiting for book 3 after enjoying the other 2. I planned on reading this one on a long flight . However, I started reading just to meet the characters and just kept on until I had finished even before my trip. The characters are realistic, and have hard choices and walk the ups and downs of relationship. The redemption thread of how God can work in our lives even after our mistakes is beautifully written in this story.
Wow!!! Knocked it out of the park with Love Conquers All!!! I started it last night and immediately had to finish in one sitting today! That is rare. I am so impressed with the writing in this story. Author handled the issues of race and religion in a matter of fact manner. She did not lecture or get on a soap box. She showed the truth- all races are the same and Christians are not perfect. I really liked how she handled her father. He was portrayed with a deep faith but a flawed man. He forgave his daughter instead of being holier than thou. Beautifully done and a powerful witness to readers about a man following God .
I love long stories with lots of characterization and many layers, yet this story was perfect. Just enough was said plus left the door open for future books about the town. Please tell us Layla’s story and Paula’s. I loved the happy ending.
I was absorbed into the story. There was no soapbox, or stilted writing. Her writing flowed smoothly. I was thinking what a sad story- I have to read to see if this lady gets happy.
Authors love for this story shone through. A wonderful, perfectly concise story. Characters I would love to know in real life. We were shown- not told. I was given a copy of this story in exchange for my honest review.
Lanie is going through a divorce and has really low self-esteem. Azarius went through a divorce previously and still has trust issues. After leaving the radio station they both worked, Azarius is now back in town and fate intervenes – they see each other again. The attraction is there but can they get past their trust issues and have a good relationship. When Lanie’s divorce is finalized, one night will change their lives but will the issues be resolved? Can they both get past their insecurities to make their relationship work? Nice christian romance, quick read.
Love Conquers All by Lorana Hoopes is a wonderful book to read. I felt the emotions that the characters were feeling. I felt that I was given an opportunity to see the characters grow and mature with their emotions. I loved the interaction of the characters with each other. I also enjoyed the overall inspirational aspect of the story.
Love Conquers All is a great story and I highly recommend it.
