Revenge can be bloody. Vampires are deadly.I’m Lassi Finn, and I just want to get back to Dublin— unfortunately, there’s a score of murders preventing me from ever returning to my normal life.I came to a small town in Ireland to bury a loved one, but now I’m caught up in a mystery of the supernatural kind. Three mutilated bodies show up on my doorstep before I even have time for tea, and the … time for tea, and the local detective knows more about me than he should. Not to mention the local priest is hotter than hell… oh, and did I mention he seems to glow, and not in the normal, “happy to see me” manner?
The killer isn’t just cold-blooded. She’s cold-hearted, literally. And I’m about to be her next victim. Either that, or go down for murder.

The beginning of a steamy, dark fantasy series, Grave Stones is the first book in the edgy and quirky Bloodstone Trilogy. Readers will experience thrills, romance, and sexy nights while investigating the mystery of the monster who inspired Bram Stoker’s Dracula.

Delightful tale though dark at times. Lassi is wonderful and impulsive: strong but uncertain. Steamy as well.
I received a copy of this book as a gift. I am leaving my honest review.
Well written and good character development. Interesting concept.
I was very intrigued with this book. I had a hard time putting the book down because of how it grabbed your attention and held you there wanting more.
I loved this story! The characters were interesting and the mystery kept the twists and turns coming from start to finish. I loved the deep Celtic paranormal aspects and highly recommend this to anyone that enjoys mysteries, Celtic stories, or the paranormal.
The first in this trilogy sure knows how to grab a persons attention. Murder galore and all that in a perfect setting. The characters on this are what will weave it around you as the tale unfolds. It is also not without a warm bit of romance but it is with one that would be off limits to most. Oh and the secrets that are itching to have uncovered pushing the curious to the limit. Fast with it being one that does not let go but be carefull you do not want to stay until you find out more.
This first book in the Bloodstone Trilogy by Calinda B was definitely a most entertaining and enjoyable way to start the series set in Ireland. It is also a very dark and somewhat grisly book with several mutilations described. But, one of the things that made the book so very quick and fun to read was the sub-dialogue the main character has with herself that she hopes she didn’t say out loud to others. And finally, there was the paranormal aspect of the book which leads to much of expectations for the following books in the series. This is a voluntary review in exchange for a free advanced copy of this book.
Grave Stones by Calinda B is a wondeful story to read. This is book number one is a wonderful start to a brand new series I fell in with. I loved reading this story cause it deals with vampire and the super natural which I love to read about, I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about vampires and the supernatural.

Started off a bit slow, but I quickly became engrossed. Quirky characters, a forbidden romance, a mystery and several twists and surprises. Loved the Irish setting; Lassi’s irreverent sardonic wit kept me entertained and the sexy priest!… I enjoyed this story very much.
First let me state, I received an Advance Reader Copy, (ARC), but this in no way influences my review. I always leave an honest review.
OMG!!! I love Lassie. She’s so strong and snarky. And OMG, Father Ward is hot as hell. This story kept me on the edge not knowing what was going on I couldn’t put it down. Gr8 read. Looking forward to book 2. I recommend this read. 5 Thumbs up.
This is a dark paranormal mystery with a steamy romance between two very interesting main characters. There are a series of grisly murders in a small town where a load of quirky characters live. There’s spooky paranormal stuff going on, and a ballsy young woman is fighting an intense attraction to a priest. Highly recommended to lovers of dark paranormal romance.
Wow. This book had it all. Lassi is at a very small village in Ireland cleaning out (or supposed to be) the complete mess of a cottage after the death of her great-aunt. This has to be done before it can be listed for sale and so Lassi can go home. But she is getting absolutely nowhere. There is just so much stuff and dead cats and rats and commemorative plates. Good grief, what a nightmare. And that is only one nightmare she has to contend with. A crusty old great-aunt. A mess of a cottage. A very handsome priest. Hots for the priest. A murder. Two murders. Monsters. Vampires. What on earth is going on in this village of gossips and terrible weather. A messy grave. Screaming. Lots of screaming. As I said previously, WOW.
I had never read this author before, but I’ve had this book for a while and decided to read it. I dived in, and I knew pretty much right away I was going to be irritated by the main character. Don’t get me wrong, she was fine, but she could be a little whiny and immature which drives me batty. By the end of the book, however, she did get better. That aside, I did enjoy this mystery with some eerie undertones, and I think I’m really going to like this author. I am definitely going to check out the other books in the series. Recommend.
This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW. Grave Stones by Clainda B is the first of four books in The Blood Stone Quadrilogy. The was a quick read that had suspense, drama, humor and some heat (Mature Readers Suggested). While I found the characters a little suspect (pun intended), I did find them highly amusing, entertaining and sometimes a little annoying. I had no trouble finishing the book, but did find myself wanting more from the read.

graphic gratuitous sex, poorly developed plot and characters, unsympathetic heroine
WOW! Action packed and full of surprises from word one. I hated to put down even to sleep
