This erotic space-opera trilogy is available in a single, well-priced volume – Preyfinders Trilogy.Willow has her hands full scraping out a life in a grungy neighborhood where drugs and crime are the norm. Life is hard, but it’s about to get harder. Being transformed into a sexual pet for an alien warrior may be her only way out.But Stom, the man she’s been awarded to as a battle honor, has no … honor, has no use for a female, not when his heart is still in a million pieces.
Though the need to be Stom’s mate is overwhelming her, mending his heart isn’t going to be enough. His enemies are searching, looking for the women who are more than they seem, and she’s in their hands before she discovers she’s more-than-human.
Sometimes it sucks to be a chosen one.

This is another book in Cari Silverwood’s sort of alien invasion, sort of alien abduction series.
The Preyfinders are on Earth to first find out if the humans can be starfarers in the future. Once that’s been established, that means that soldiers can come hunt human women for pets, as a reward. There is also another alien group on Earth, the ones that the good guys are fighting against.
Stom is a Feya. He has black and grey stripes and a red spiral on his arm. He is a hero, so the higher-ups decided that he could hunt for a pet. He is conflicted about it because Feya only ever take one bondmate, and his is dead, and a pet would violate his vow.
Willow is his prospective prey and pet. She is due to die, which makes her the perfect target. When Stom sees her, he’s drawn to her and knows that she is going to be trouble. He can’t stay away from her and once she kisses him, she can’t stay away from him.
This is a great story. You really can’t read it as a stand-alone because it is connected with the first book, and is a continuing storyline. There isn’t technically a cliffhanger, but there is definitely an ending that needs the next book. I love Stom, at least most of the time. There are times when I want to take a cluex4 to the back of his head just so he figures stuff out sooner, but in general, he’s a pretty good guy. Ally is conflicted about her past, but incredibly strong and loyal in her present. She wants nothing more than to be safe and make sure her family is safe. I love Cari Silverwood’s heroines, because they are strong, even if they are submitting. Submission doesn’t equal weakness.
