(This is NOT a stand alone novel. See end of this description for details) Brad feels nothing but shame about himself. Shame about his sexual needs, about his reputation, about his medical problem no one knows about. No one, except his best friend Charlie, but no matter what feelings Brad may have for him, he’s not going there. Charlie deserves so much better, and Brad desperately needs something … something not even Charlie can provide.
Charlie has loved Brad forever, but he’s never acted on his feelings, unsure of where he stood. Plus, there was the complication of his boyfriend. But when his boyfriend’s abuse gets too much for Charlie, it’s Brad who helps him escape and recover.
Miles ends up severely wounded in the line of duty as an FBI agent. He’s floored when the man he was protecting, Indy, opens his home to him so he can recover. Indy also sets him up with Brad, who turns out to be a perfect solution for Miles’ sexual issues…until Miles wants more than sex from him, and a developing friendship between Miles and Charlie complicates things even more.
Bit by bit Charlie and Miles break through Brad’s defenses, until they come crumbling down. Miles will have to prove he can provide what Brad needs, and Charlie’s sweet love will be put to the test. But when Brad finally finds the courage to break free of his shame, will the fragile love that has blossomed between the three of them survive?
No Shame is a steamy M/M/M romance that ends with a happy ever after for all characters, including those from the previous books in the series. It’s the fourth book in the No Shame Series, and is NOT a stand alone novel, so make sure to read the first three books first (No Filter, No Limits, and No Fear). It contains hot sex, a ménage, a little daddy kink, more hot sex, and a poly-amorous relationship that transcends labels. Also: trigger warning for mentions of domestic abuse, sexual abuse, and rape.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I feel compelled to say my piece about this.
I loved the ballsy boy & kinky boy series, so I’ve come across this one many times before. I hadn’t read it though, because I didn’t really like the opening scene with the robbery. Maybe it’s because I tend to read more fluff when it comes to gay romance. I think it would have been better for us to get to know Indy first, before we got to the robbery, although I know that it would be hard to fit enough of Indy’s back story in right up front for it to make sense.
But right after that I fell in love with this series. I. Could. Not. Put. It. Down.
I have never seen suspenseful gay romance done so well. The story had me in it’s grip and wouldn’t let go.
But what really makes this good are the relationships between the characters. Most authors don’t get poly relationships quite right. They don’t portray the reality of human connection. Emotions aren’t black and white. They’re nuanced, complex, messy. People aren’t flat and static. They’re layered, intricate & multifaceted. Which means relationships are all of those things as well. This author captured all of that. The way she portrayed the character’s relationships & their love for each other was beautiful and it rang true to the human experience.
Add to that the kink & the hot sex, and damn.
I absolutely loved this book and wasn’t sure how Nora Phoenix would top (innuendo intended) the last book. No Fear is still my favorite of this series, but I loved No Shame as well. There is a lot of going on, It starts out mostly Miles, Brad and Charlie’s story then we get more of Josh, Conner, Indy, Noah, Blake, and Aaron. This book is mostly growing relationships, building family and bonding. There is a bit of action about Charlie and his ex-Zach as well. There is a lot of closure here and I sure hope this is not the end of this series.
I am sure this book is good but… I highly recommend the audio version. Kenneth Obi gives each guy (and there are lots of them distinctive voices, adds a lot of sex appeal and near the end, there is a club scene that is to die for! Kenneth does such a fun impression as the MC and even sings a bit. fun, fun!
Warning… there is a lot of kink in this book. Daddy play, puppy play, BDSM, spanking, polyamorous relationships, and D/s. So I will say if kink isn’t your thing this may not be for you…on the other hand if you’ve been considering it but not really sure… this series is good place to dip your toes in the water as it is handled quite well and so sexy
SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL!!!
What a stunning conclusion to this amazing Series.
Thank you for taking us on such a riveting journey filled with so much love.
All the obstacles just cemented these characters in our hearts forever.
Although I enjoyed reading the series, I was sooo disappointed that Noah and Josh never confessed love for one another. In all honesty, had l known they would not have, I wouldn’t have read the series. Is there a chance of this happening in an additional book to the series?
Poor Miles! He has such a horrible affliction but here he found effective medicine so to speak. It’s great to see how people are so different but yet they all belong together. That farm house sounds amazing and makes you want to peek in.
Brad, Miles and Charlie are slightly broken in their own ways but are also strong, caring, protective and perfect for each other. This story has humor, sweetness, sexiness and will keep your attention throughout. I love the series and this book was a great installment that did not disappoint. Definitely recommend.
Seriously this series only gets better with each book! The Dynamics that just keep flowing through these pages keeps these stories engaging.
What a way to end this series. I have loved watching all the characters grow. Noah, Conner, Miles, Blake all had their share of secrets, but are stronger for them. Indy, Josh, Aaron, Miles and Brad are also strong in their own truly unique ways. I love how even though they all have things they feel ashamed of, that love, understanding and acceptance truly shone through.
Such a good way to end the series.
It’s with serious mixed feelings I write this. I love these guys. I be we expected the one who I made the strongest connection with would be Brad. But it actually makes sense. We have seen the other guys. On the stonger end of the healing process more while with him it’s just beginning. I cried the hardest in this one with Brad and Conner. The warm feels I got with Josh and Indy…sigh. I really appreciate the bonus chapter. When I finished the book and that scene wasn’t in it, I felt a bit let down for myself as well as Brad.
Fantastic series!
Loved Miles, Charlie and Brad’s story. Everything is tied up and all characters getting their HEA. Perfect ending to a series, though I would love more!
No Shame is the fourth and final book in the No Shame series, and although we focus on Brad, Charlie, and Miles, there is a finality to everyone’s story. We met Miles in No Fear when he was trying to protect Indy. In return, after he gets tortured, Indy proves once again just how big his heart is by inviting him to recover in their farmhouse/ranch house. This brings a new dynamic into the house, as Miles has his own problems, Charlie is still recovering from his ex’s attention, and Brad doesn’t know what he wants or how to ask for it.
How these characters all blend together is just amazing to read about, and I loved being thoroughly engrossed in their stories. It is with genuine sorrow that I say goodbye to this series, although it will be one I read again! I would love a little novella to just see how they’re all getting on, say, ten years in the future. Hint hint, Nora Phoenix!
I know I run the risk of repeating myself, but I really can’t recommend these books highly enough. They are not the ‘usual’ m/m books, but instead are fresh and original. Each book is a delight in and of itself, but put them together in a series, and you will get blown away. I can’t say which is my favourite book, but this one had me smiling and crying at the end, just because of how it ends.
Go and read them! All of them!
