When you’re on the run from the mob, the last thing you should do is fall in love… friends-with-benefits Josh.
Noah and Josh take him into their home after Indy gets hurt, and he discovers they’re as broken and damaged as he is. Indy finds himself opening up to them, first with his body, then with his heart.
But how can he stay when his very presence endangers them? His ex will stop at nothing to find him…
No Filter is a steamy gay romance featuring a complicated but beautiful polyamorous relationship (no cheating!) that ends on a cliffhanger. The story continues in No Limits, the second book in the No Shame Series. Please note the trigger warnings in the front of the book.

This is book one of the No Shame series and man oh man is it good. I had heard it was so good but had no idea what to expect.
I love Indy but to get the full effect of this story I highly recommend the Audio. Kenneth Obi gives Indy both his female southern voice and his real voice and that really adds to the story.
This is a story of two already broken men, that have been friends and now lovers for a long time meeting another equally broken man.
This is a sort of ménage book but in a way, it’s not.
If you like stories with PTSD, ex-soldiers, men on the run, complicated relationships, dealing with sexual identity, (some angst) deep love, friendship, and some smoking hot sex.

LOVED EVERY SECOND!!!
What an amazing and enrapturing story.
I’m so invested in these 3 dimensional characters their story.
What a fantastic dynamic they all have!
Totally in love with the narrator. All the feels in all the right places. Not dreary or generic. So very captivating.
I want more now!
I totally loved this book!
Noah and Indi are so sweet and so hot!
and omg, I absolutely love Josh!!! can’t wait for book 2
Wasn’t sure what to expect but the story sucked you in so fast and hard! Totally fell in love with amazing Indy, Noah, and Josh. All excellent and the entire series well worth reading. Loved all the books!
This book draws you in and captures your attention! It’s rough and raw in the reality that not everything is rainbows and sunshine in life, but that if you persevere you will find the happiness you deserve. In between the drama the steam rises with each delicious interaction between the characters and only elevates your own need to experience right along with the words your reading.
No Filter is the first book in Nora Phoenix’s No Shame Series. This is not the end of their story,it continues on in book two.
In No Filter we are introduced to Indy, Noah and Josh and get to see how they get to know each other. Each of these men are beautiful but broken in some way. Indy on the run from demons from his past,, and a real danger that may attack st any time. Josh and Noah carrying the physical and emotional scars of military service. Together they share their bodies and their hearts.
The story is definitely steamy. Its a polyamorous relationship, and the men are trying to figure out their feelings and their roles… there is angst, drama, sexytimes and some sweet moments between them. These are complex characters with complex issues… the story is done beautifully. There is some dark subject matter covered in this story, it is not a mushy kind of love… it’s dark, it’s hard, its raw… and it’s perfect.
Josh, Indy and Noah are three guys you will completely fall in love with. They are all flawed in their own unique ways. They all have their own secrets that they are trying to come to terms with. I loved the writing and the storyline was great. Looking forward to reading the next one.
This book made me cry it was wonderful, sad and sweet. And great
I’m so impressed. I had heard this author is amazing, and that’s no lie. The vast scope of the story, the complex characters, the dirty and raunchy sex scenes… everything was just beautifully done.
This is a continuing story, so not a cliff hanger, but the plot grows and develops with the next book and I can’t wait to start it.
Even better, one of my new favorite narrators, Kenneth Obi, does this series. I fell in love with him when I listened to M.A. Innes’ Strength series – he infuses all his characters with so much emotion, it’s always a pleasure to listen to him read me a story. His Bostonian accent will make some of us from the North East chuckle, but Indy is such an adorable character that it fits.
I love a dark story so I’m good with everything that goes down in No Filter, but if I was writing this review for the blog, my list of tags and CW’s would be mighty long *wink*.
Highly recommend, and if you’re a fans of audiobooks this one is a huge win!
Wow powerful!
This is an amazing read. Here you get deep complicated somewhat broken men that have so much more to offer than they believe. All three with painful pasta but are learning to hold and love. Yes it’s a cliffhanger but you do get to an emotionally content place. Still more struggles and closure needs to come and hopefully we will see some of that in the next one. You will cry. You will get angry. And, at least in my case, there will be some yelling and wishing dark will things on a certain someone and their goons who joined in. Man I have to read the next one now.
This book is different and I liked that. It was an interesting relationship between the three of them and I can’t wait to see where things go from here. I love mm (and mmm) romances and broken men in need of healing, so this was a great find for me. I’m ready for the next installment, I’ll try to be patient. Thank you Nora for giving me an Arc in exchange of an honest review.
No Filter is the first book in the No Shames series, and we meet Indy, who is disguised as a woman. The reasons for this become clear, so don’t worry about that. He meets Josh in a shop, and has to help him in an unusual way to stop him from being hurt. This in turn leads him to meeting Noah.
I won’t say any more about the story, but I will say that this is one of the best written, original, storylines I’ve had the pleasure of reading. Nothing is plain and simple, but you are kept within the story as you learn more about situations and circumstances.
With no editing or grammatical errors, this book was a delight to read. It had a smooth pacing to it, and the writing style was very easy to read. It does contain parts about abuse and PTSD, but I thought it was written very well indeed, telling of the horror without glamorising the events.
Looking forward to the rest of the series, and highly recommended by me.
This book was amazing! My heart goes out to these three guys.
Josh and Noah have each had their share of pain and suffering. They try their best to cope and take care of each other but when fate brings Indy into their lives, who has his own painful secrets, then they truly begin to heal.
