Rule #3: Don’t stare at invisible faeries.
Aislinn has always seen faeries. Powerful and dangerous, they walk hidden in mortal world. Aislinn fears their cruelty — especially if they learn of her Sight — and wishes she were as blind to their presence as other teens.
Rule #2: Don’t speak to invisible faeries.
Now faeries are stalking her. One of them, Keenan, who is equal parts terrifying and … equal parts terrifying and alluring, is trying to talk to her, asking questions Aislinn is afraid to answer.
Rule #1: Don’t ever attract their attention.
But it’s too late. Keenan is the Summer King who has sought his queen for nine centuries. Without her, summer itself will perish. He is determined that Aislinn will become the Summer Queen at any cost — regardless of her plans or desires.
Suddenly none of the rules that have kept Aislinn safe are working anymore, and everything is on the line: her freedom; her best friend, Seth; her life; everything.
Faerie intrigue, mortal love, and the clash of ancient rules and modern expectations swirl together in Melissa Marr’s stunning 21st century faery tale.

It’s been a long time since I read this, but I remember loving it. I know I enjoyed the characters very much and the world-building was incredible. Definitely recommend.
I’m rereading some of my old school favorite books. This was as good as I remembered.
I honestly didn’t think I would like this book because I normally don’t read this genre. I ended up enjoying it. I would definitely recommend this book. I look forward to reading this series.
3.5 Stars!!!
I was in the mood for a fae story and this book showed up on my recommendations. I’ve never read or listened to a book from this author so I’m glad I gave this story a try because it was a good book. I’m looking forward to the next book in this series. The characters were great, the storyline was a good one and the flow of the story …
I love the world of Wicked Lovely! I have now read all the books in this series…. I am hooked and have consumed them!
A very good YA with the clash of the mortal and Fey world collide. Love the more attention to the Fey courts and politics involved. Love the unrequited love energy and how the human world breaks the formalities of the Fey rules for seasons and the nuances of the impact that has as the story unfolds like an interesting Romeo and Juliet.
Aislinn can see the fey in all their splendour and wickedness. She’d known her whole life not to attract their attention or let them know that she can see them. There were rules she followed that kept her safe.
Until two faeries started to follow her. Everything she knew about her world gets turned upside down.
She’s in love with Seth – a …
Great fairy power conflicts
I just loved this entire series. The story was original and I couldn’t get enough.
I really enjoyed this book. I like when authors take new views on the tales we already know. It was a little reminiscent of the idea behind Karen Marie Moning’s Fever series, in that the main character is one of few people who can SEE the fairies. But that’s where the similarities end. There’s all new stakes in this tale where a fairy is enamored …
