Good adventure, inventive plot.
My favorite kind of book – one that keeps me awake reading longer than I want to be a wake. Wonderful characters in non-stop action! Fun and suspense, all in one!
I have read several Nick Thacker books and loved them all. Great characters, entertaining stories, and high action.
Predictable, seems similar to most of those crime in the Florida area tying crime and treasure hunting and margaritas with golden haired girls together in on pot,
non stop action with never a dull moment.
Have read the series. The first ones of the series held my attention more.
I thought I would really like this but could not get into it. I did not finish the book, I lost interest.
Slow moving plot too many other books to read !
Well written book, hard to put down. I will be reading more of this writer’s work.
Very entertaining
a good read
I really enjoyed this book. The characters are interesting and it is packed with a lot of twists and turns.
Good book. Enjoyed it.
Not one of his best
Let me start by saying I really like the Harvey Bennett Thrillers but this one was not one of my favorites. I can ignore the typos in any book..no big deal, but it just didn’t seem to live up to the authors past standards. I didn’t care for the ending at all. Seemed like it was one of those “have to wrap this up” endings. Lots of action and then Bang.. they’re home & all is well. Wont stop me from reading anything Nick Thacker writes but this one wasn’t one of his best.
I rarely give 3 star reviews, but in this case I feel this is being generous.
Of all the Harvey Bennett Thrillers, I really disliked this one the most. The beginning started with Reggie crashing Ben and Julie’s vacation. Then the story seemed to focus on petty whining from the both of them about their relationship. It seemed like it took up the first half of the book, along with the both of them being mad at Reggie.
It seems like no action takes place until the last part of the book. And I mean way towards the end. This book is classified as a thriller and not a mystery, which the book actually states, “Sounds like we’ve got ourselves a mystery here”.
On an up note, the story was readable, enjoyable in a few spots, and it was a unique idea.
I was given a free copy of this book for giving my honest opinion.
I absolutely could not put this book down! Super plot, non-stop thrilling action and wonderful characters. Nick Thacker and Harvey Bennett are in top form!
I received an eARC with no strings attached.
