I absolutely never miss Reading ellie Griffith..and the Ruth Galloway series are all ‘can’t put down ‘, until I finish..books..
Great book!
#2 The Janus Stone by Elly Griffiths– Ruth Galloway series.
This book is even better than the first, with the same darkish atmosphere mixing mysticism /ancient pagan worship, and archeology. The book is character driven with a twisted plot and a fast pace. I read this one on Kindle, with Jane McDowell’s voice in my ear. I hope to listen to book # …
I enjoy these characters and the stories. I love experiencing the unraveling of the mystery.
Very good.
Great reading
Good plot told well. Although not a literary wonder, it didn’t insult me or irritate me with inconsistencies or mundane language. I really cared who did what to whom throughout the book. Good mystery.
While this is only the second book in the Ruth Galloway series, I must say that I am quickly getting hooked and am looking forward to reading the next one.
In this story, an archaeological dig reveals a buried skeleton. While it’s difficult to tell the age of the deceased, the location of the grave in the soil indicates that the body may not …
This is one of my favorite series and I adore Ruth, the main character. She’s is so realistic and likable and gets involved in complicated murders with a married detective who is the father of her daughter. Start this series at the beginning because it develops over time. It is intriguing to say the least!
Well Written book, good storyline and likable, believable characters. This is one of my favorite writers.
This series grabs attention right away. It’s a bit Eerie and creepy at times. Enjoyed the suspense.
Getting addicted to this brilliant series! Interesting, uncompromising heroine and an unusual love interest
This entire series is wonderful. Definitely a must-read.
Not my favorite book of Elly Griffiths’ Ruth Galloway series, but still a great book for character development, and you need the background of Ruth’s life in the Janus Stone for continuity of the series to read The House at Sea’s End (Book 3). Always enjoyable, easy to read, and the characters stay with you. The Ruth Galloway series stays with …
I enjoy reading about archaeology and Ruth’s ideas and insights. The mystery is interesting, but for me the context is the thing. And Ruth’s love life is certainly different!
Good strong plot with an easy to read style. I liked it.
I’ve read every book in the series. An eagerly await for new books to come out. A great read.
