I loved reading this fairy tale that ended with a nursery rhyme. The author has a wonderful sense of humor and put a creative twist on this classic fairytale.
I was entranced in this enchanted tale that involved two young women, Bella & Ariella and each of their Fairy God Mothers. Both women attended the Ball to meet the Prince and to possibly become his wife. After leaving the Ball in a complete rush, these women received a perfect ending each of their tales. The Prince found his wife (or “Princess To Be”). While the other young woman found out that not always in life do you receive everything you want, no matter how vain you maybe.
The story is funny and exciting and such a fresh take on Cinderella. The ending is brilliant. It was a pleasure to read it. I loved the godmothers!
This take on cinderella really amused me. I loved the point of view on how it was set up and it was just a fun read
This book was a great twist to the original fairy tale of Cinderella. Can’t wait to read more fairy tales by this author!
Absolutely loved this version of Cinderella! You get to learn more about the fairy god mothers Fern and Flora. Flora is awesome. It’s also a family name in my family. So I loved her a little bit more. Shes in charge a very snobby girl who thinks the world owes her everything. Fern is in charge of Airella who is such a good girl but has had way more downs in her short life then she should. I definitely recommend everyone read this story.
What a fabulous story told from the fairie godmother’s point of view. It’s not a stretch from the original just from the eyes of someone new. Imposs-i-Bella is just wonderful leaving the readers with a lesson that some times you don’t always get what you want.
Isabella believes that she should get everything on a silver platter. Her Fairy Godmother wants to hit her over the head with it. Ariella is kind and gentle while her stepmother and sisters aren’t. Her Fairy Godmother needs to help ‘Cinderella’ get to the ball.
A fun little retelling of Cinderella. I enjoyed the new POV of the story with the Godmothers mostly telling the story. It was entertaining and fun!
this book was really great! you read the story of Cinderella. now this one has some added twists to it. read to find out what happens.
Loved this story. Reminiscent of Fractured Fairytales from my childhood. Bella got all she deserved. Never under estimate your Fairy Godmother.
This is a MUST READ BOOK. Ever wondered about the fairy godmother in the book Cinderella? Meet Flora and Fern, each a fairy godmother to different baby and wow are those babies very different. A version of Cinderella that only Savannah Verte is able to bring us and it’s WONDERFUL and, FABULOUS. It’s also Fall Down Funny.
This amusing twist on Cinderella had me giggling along with the fairy godmothers, Flora and Fern. Their antics as they watch over their “charges” Ariella and Bella added a fresh perspective on the classic theme that a kind heart wins out over an evil one. A magical treat that I highly recommend.
We’ve all read the retelling of Cinderella and her rags to riches happily ever after.
With so many out there, it can start to seem like they all blend and sound alike.
However, ImpossiBella is a new twist in the retelling.
What if Prince Charming was already betrothed to somebody else?
In ImpossiBella, a rich, know it all Isabella will get the wake-up call of a lifetime when her betrothed prince rescinds their up-coming marriage.
At his ball, the prince will find his true match in Ariella. A young woman who has had more hardships in her life than anyone her age should have to go through.
And how the work of two fairy godmothers…well technically the work of one with the other sitting back to watch her charge basically harm her own future, ensure that Ariella will get the happily ever after she deserves.
An added element to this already well known fairytale, with a comedic ending. Cute, short story, although the moral of the story is similar to the original; Be good…be rewarded. Be bad….you get what’s coming to you!
This story really gave me some good chuckles. It’s a short story, I would guess because we all know Cinderella and her story. However, we don’t know much about fairy godmothers and this gives us a glimpse into their frustrations with their charges and trying to do their jobs. The last line of the book just really made it perfect. Lol.
Perfectly twisted humor and justice.
Not to much off original script. Every new detail falling deftly into place. Bringing a lighter comedy to this previously tragedy turns romance. Finishing touches take the crowd to their feet for an encore.
4 out of 5 stars
What do you do when you are the fairy godmother of the young girl that is born at the top of the food chain. A princess , a spoiled princess to be totally honest . Flora is the godmother to Isabella . The child is beautiful but also very spoiled and there is nothing she can do about it but try and guide her to be a better person. Her sister Fern gets to be the godmother to an adorable little girl Ariella , who has a hard life after loosing her mother in child birth. Each girl is totally different from each other but their paths are going to cross on their eighteenth birthday . Now we will know the rest of the story of Cinderella .
What a way to twist up the tale of Cinderella . The fairy godmothers are both hilarious and oh so funny . They both want to help their charges but alas they can’t . They get so frustrated and that’s when the fun begins for them. I really loved Fern and Flora they will have you laughing from the very beginning . Now lets talk princess’s Isabella is so spoiled you really want to just turn her over your knee and spank her . She is whiny and thinks she can have anything and everything, even prince Christopher Ariella is as sweet as sweet can be even though she has a hard life she is just a lovely girl . When her life gets even more desperate she discovers the back bone that she had all along and stands up for what she wants, even if it the prince . I truly loved each and every character in this book, they are well written and have a depth to them .
I found this book through a friend and i was really glad i got it . The characters are well written and hilarious, the story is fun and it is an easy read . The author takes us on a fun filled ride with a fairy tale that is flipped on its side . It is great to see the story from another perspective , that of the fairy godmothers . This would be a great read for your summer beach reads . It is short and sweet and you will enjoy each and every page . Check it out even your tweens would get a kick out of it
