Friends with Benefits. Simple, right? No strings. No complications. And definitely no pesky feelings. On that, Morgan Yates and Luke Dallas agree. Until they don’t.Morgan makes the monumental mistake of falling in love with Luke and walking away may be the hardest thing she ever has to do. After all, she did move here to start living life on her terms, and to make a name for herself as a new … name for herself as a new Police Detective.
While Luke is too busy worrying about his past, she needs to start moving towards to her future.
Luke can deny it all he wants, but he knows Morgan is it for him. He also knows he screwed up big time by letting her walk away, but he’s too stubborn to let go of the past and see what is right in front of him. Doing whatever it takes to get her back may just be the bravest thing he ever does.
But when Luke’s past catches up with him, will Morgan be the one who pays the ultimate price?

Wow what amazing story.. it’s about two friends that are together with benefits and find that their is more to the relationship that meets the eye.. this book heard my attention from the beginning and drew me in.. you will want to read the first two or you won’t understand the book as it is a series that is amazing and will rock your romantic..
Book 3 in the Deadly Series, this book is compelling, intriguing, and heartfelt…
…each book in this series pulls you in, you just can’t put it down!
I love Morgan and Luke’s story. I enjoyed how some of the scenes from the previous books took place during this one, but that the perspectives were different. I see the potential for lots more books in this series because I love these characters and they all need their story told. If you like romantic suspense, this is the series for you!
I had been ‘not so patiently’ waiting for Morgan and Luke’s book to come out, after meeting them in the previous books in the Deadly series, and as I’ve come to expect with this author, once again she brought her A game…my heart ached for Morgan and Luke, friends with benefits was always playing with fire, and with both of them damaged by their pasts, how could they ever make it work…throw a little, or maybe a lot of crazy into the mix, and you have one hell of a book..loved it!!
This was an emotional journey that features Morgan and Luke. I guess you could read this as a stand alone but you’d be doing yourself a huge disservice by not reading the previous two books in the series.
Morgan is a character that you can relate to considering everything she has been through and goes through. She’s strong, likeable, smart, and resilient. Luke… think he’s my new favorite book boyfriend for many reasons. In addition to their story, you get to see events from other points of view which is something that I really like.
So far this series has been off the hook with action, passion and a whole lot of pain. This book by far has language that is less colorful and of course that matters to some (I have to say it doesn’t stop me from reading a book but I sure do enjoy a read with less cursing and f bombs). This one flows along side the first 2 stories in the series but the author does a great job of not being repetitive with the information, just a quick note to keep you in the loop. Luke gets his story and of course it has some action thrown in not only from the chase that’s going on but with the return of Sophie’s deranged sister. Yup the action is full on here along with the chemistry and mishaps these two experience. This time the danger is one they know and with everything that’s been going on emotions and nerves are stretched to the max. This one is also more about the baggage these two have from their past and working through them. With the support of the entire team there’s going to be a little damage done after all that’s part of the draw. Can’t wait to read more from this author.
I’ve been looking forward to reading this story and I was so not disappointed! Luke and Morgan’s story was amazing. AMAZING. It was well written, hot, emotional, sweet, everything I hoped for and also everything I didn’t know I wanted for these characters. They are put through the wringer I’m so many ways, I found myself frantically reading their story to find out how things ultimately ended. I highly recommend this series and this book!
