I debated whether to review or not but I wanted a visual warning to myself. While I enjoy the intrigue and mystery of an MC book, over-the-top instant sex is a bit much. Sensual scenes can be well written or they are just exploits to see how far it can go and yet be entertaining. This author reached my limit so I couldn’t finish. The story-line was good and the illegal drug world was well written but when you are literally running for your life and you have time to have “sex on the beach” then that’s it for me, besides the fact there is a little child involved who I just wanted to hug yet feared she was in a world far outside of legal limits. Sorry!
Great read about a motorcycle group who was attacked by a rival gang. A young couple on that night find solace in one another. Years later the young man finds out he fathered a child on that night and his once lover now brings the feds to the clubs doors. And the excitement continues as they find a way to keep them safe
Love all MC books!
Hawk by Serena Akeroyd is the seventh book in the Dark and Dirty Sinners series. Wild, raw, steamy, and addicting. Amazing stoy filled with amazing characters.
I read this book a long time ago. I enjoyed it then, but hearing it was another story… I loved it. This story was intriguing, suspenseful, and entertaining.
Savannah Rylan’s new Road Rebels MC series hits the ground running with Hawk and Sydney’s story. After Sydney’s father is killed she runs away from the club lifestyle and her boyfriend, Hawk. When she returns seven years later everything is different and Hawk and Sydney get a second chance at love.
Twists, turns, who is doing what, asking why and looking for outs! Hot, sexy, loveable, Hawk and Sydney have a second chance at love can things her just vanishing years ago. This book from start to finish keeps you guessing and hopping! Definetly worth the time and excited to read more of mc
This was the first book I have read in this series of the Road Rebels MC by Savannah Rylan and I want more. Great storyline and characters. Loved this second chance romance between Hawk bad boy biker of the Road Rebels and Sydney MC Treasurer’s daughter. This story had danger and murder after the shootout and the deaths of their fathers Syd runs from Hawk and the MC family. Now she is back to Hawk with a secret and the family she left behind. Can he save her ……
This is a must read book and I highly recommend this series.
arc review For honest review. Hawk is with the road rebels Sidney grew up with him there in the club after the death of their parents she just took off later to find out she was pregnant this story is them trying to forgive and to find their way home. Awesome.
Hawk is in the MC, just like his dad was. He always knew Sydney and he were meant to be together, but fate has other plans after a massive shootout and the death of their fathers.
Sydney runs from the only family she has ever known, but when she gets into trouble, she returns to the only family she has ever known. But she is not alone when she comes back. What will Hawk think?
This is such a good book, can’t wait for the others in the series!!! I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
I just love MC books.
I can not imagine Hawk was felling. Here he is long for the woman that left him heartbroken. At at time they should of comforted each other and now here she is at his door with his kid. He had to feel so much anger, hurt, and betrayal. Reading this story we get to see what kind of man Hawk truly is. I know I feel in love with his character over and over again.
Sydney I can understand her fear, hurt, confusion, and felling she was being torn over and over again. I understand why she left. I did not understand why she keep the fact that her and Hawk had a child together. No matter what excuses I read I felt it was no excuse to not Hawk know.
My heart broke for Hawk. It broke for the fact of not watching his child grown in her belly, not being there for the birth, and all the years and special moments he missed.
I can only imagine the fear Sydney must of been feeling knowing her and her daughter were in danger. To have to be on the run and have only one person she could turn to.
I love the protectiveness that Hawk had for Sydney and his daughter. I love the fact we got to see the brotherhood of the MC in this story. We got to see the great depths they would go thru to keep there own safe.
This was a great story and glad I got a chance to read it.
Hawk is a great new start to The Road Rebels MC. This is Hawk and Sydney story are to both MC brats. I was hooked from start to finish. They both had a hard in life. cant say to much, but can they Hawk forgive Sydney because of a big secret she hide from him. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy
the cover drew me in, but the characters kept me turning the pages. i couldn’t get enough of Sydney and Hawk. I honestly couldn’t turn the pages fast enough.
Six years ago there was a massacre.
It was discovered that the treasurer of Road Rebels was f *** The Devil Saints Prez’ wife. There was a confrontation and many deaths.
Who cause of it all died in his daughter arms, Sydney.
Hawk’s father, Joe the VP, also died.
Desperate, Sydney leaves Nevada, leaving Hawk heartbroken.
She turned her back on the MC family.
Now she appears at his door with two problems:
First, she had a daughter, Emery. Then she had no place to live, she was outlawed for engaging with another MC, the Iron Souls, and the DEA was after her to get information on that club’s illegal actions.
In addition to denying Hawk the opportunity to have seen his daughter from birth, Syd appears at his door at the worst moment, when the Rebels were all set for a huge shipment of drugs.
I always like MC themed books. Reading about those tattooed men who are not afraid of a good fight (in bed or outside) is always a pleasure.
But Sydney was too much annoying, crying all the time (view spoiler)
The best part of the book is the plan made by Talon tThe road captain and enforcer)
3,5 stars
Hawk and Sydney were meant to be together. They were raised by their fathers who were members of the MC. Then one terrible day something happened to split them apart. This was a first read for me by this author and it was a pretty good book. A lot of drama and the blood shed that comes from this type of read.
Great MC storyline. I enjoyed it!
I was gifted an ARC for an honest review.
