Mother (Children of Ossiria #5) (2019 Edition) by Vivian Lane is such a great story to read. This is book number five in this great series that I really enjoyed reading. I recommend this story to everyone who likes reading about fantasy and paranormal romances.

Cary and Will, Sebastian and Bethany. Vivian Lane definitely delivers on her promise of “strong, compassionate female characters and supernatural bad-ass family men” in her Children of Ossiria series, and never more so than in Mother (Book 5) This is truly fantastic and a total pleasure to read. I highly recommend it.
I’ve longed for this book since I first discovered this brilliant series! Finally we get to meet Carys and Williams twins. Through the entire pregnancy, birth and a bit beyond. In true form there are issues and adventure along the way. I’m just thrilled Carts now remembers the shocking visit from the future by one of her twins. Once learning she was pregnant the spell to forget vanished. We also get to meet a few more people close to William. I never tire of all the adventures this crew of friends go through, and I look forward to what’s next in this series! Enjoy!
Mother is Book 5 in the Children of Ossiria, 2019 Edition, series by Vivian Lane. As the first four books in this series, No. 5 is very well written and the characters (old and new) are superbly developed, realistic and interesting. Vivian draws you into the story and you get to experience the events and emotions of the characters (a truly exceptional gift). There is a lot going on in this book: Carys and Williams mating, sharing each others dreams, Carys pregnancy, the birth of twin girls, baby Lillian kidnapped, Bethany and Sebastian getting their HEA, William reconnecting with his estranged sister. There is plenty of action, suspense, violence, romance, passion that keeps this moving at a great pace. I have thoroughly enjoyed this book as well as the series and it is one that I know you will not want to miss. I highly recommend it. Received a free copy from Booksprout and this is my voluntary review.
Mother ……. what a wonderful sequel to previous parts !!
Carys is pregnant with twins and bound to William to infinity. Their married life is not just about roses and it even ends up in dangerous situations. But because she is also Kalana, she can avert the danger. The nice thing about this series is that many others keep coming back in the story and that their story is also included in the story of Carys and William.
The beginning of the book lets through many emotions; distrust, division, recovery of lost family, forgiveness, passion and love. Furthermore, a story that runs effortlessly, has many warm family gatherings and enough twists to keep you in the story.
William remains a great vampire who increasingly shows his soft side, especially after the birth of his daughters.
A great follow-up, enough questions at the end of this part that I hope to see answered in a follow-up story. Congratulations to Vivian Lane for the wonderful world she creates and shares

This is another great story in the Children of Ossiria series. Being Book #5, there are lots of characters we’ve already met as well as several new ones. Ms. Lane does a wonderful job of developing her characters along her story line and it is a joy to watch. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that enjoys paranormal romance and fantasy.

Adventure, mystery and danger abound as Carys and William get ready and finally have the twins. Of course it is not a lovely picnic and everything does not exactly go as planned during the pregnancy. There are a few issues and trials but they get through it as some made me laugh and some groan and shake my head as people are people no matter if they are people or vampires or Carys. I liked visiting with the old and the side story of Sebastian and Bethany as it relates to what is going on in Carys and William’s life. Just another good story that shows the ups and downs of life.
William woke and experienced not only his own hunger but his sleeping wife’s hunger as well. He could follow her dream in his own head. The claim was still too new for them to be able to put up any boundaries between each other’s consciousness. He was concerned that Carys might “see” one of his uncomfortable secrets that he would rather not have revealed! They ate and went back to bed, but Carys had to return to the palace so Pete and Sarah, their wedding witnesses, could return home, and Will couldn’t wake up. So Carys told him she would go herself.
When they returned home, she told her sister about the twins. She read some letters from her mother and got emotional. Then Will asked to read them too because her mom had raised a wonderful daughter and she still adored her mom, so he wanted to know her too. That, of course, caused a huge outpouring of absolute love through their claim and he fought tears as well! Everything was perfect – until they slept.
Carys realized that they were sharing their dreams. She could walk through William’s past, learn everything about him and satisfy her curiosity. As soon as she thought it, both human and vampire scenes flew by. She saw he had a sister! But suddenly his hands were on her throat and William snarled at her to stay out of his head and to mind her f%$#% business! Was he awake or still sleeping? He walked to the bathroom and, as she followed, he shoved her against the wall. If she were still human, she would have been physically hurt. Telling him they can no longer keep secrets, she pressed for more information of his past. There were many things that would need to be shared and accepted, with Will unhappy at how this could affect them.
This was a really good book where we share the pregnancy and the marriage that has brought so many changes to Will and Carys. The birth of the twins is wonderful. But things never go smoothly it seems and there is still lots of drama to get through. Grab your copy and don’t miss any of it! Their relationship is still experiencing many new things and we are lucky to share as they adjust to all the changes.
I am so involved with these characters!! I loved reading this new story about William and Carys and all of their friends and family. It was exactly what I would expect for the next chapter in their lives. The birth of their daughters, the support from their friends, but also William reconnecting with his estranged sister, then the excitement of Lillian’s kidnapping. Also the little snippets about Gabriella, and Bethany finally realizing she’s in love with Sebastian. I still love this series and the characters. I can’t wait for the next book!

This book was the most heartwarming of the series. Carys and Will are expecting twins. Will is just like any expectant father, very protective of Carys and the babies. But after their mating they can share each other’s dreams and Carys learns about Will’s past. She is angry he didn’t tell her and she has to come to terms with his past, and that he won’t revert to his old ways. The birth of the twins was so wonderful. All of their friends and relatives are there supporting them. But before that Carys is almost abducted, and then after giving birth, one of the babies is abducted. Who is trying to hurt Carys and Will? I loved this book and Bethany finally gets her happily ever after also. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Bethany and her Knight are struggling with their feelings and their choices. Cary’s pregnancy has her and Will busy and worried and when their family was threatened Cary and Kalana took over the action. I liked the way the story flowed. William and Cary are working on their relationship and Hope, Genevieve and the twins present a new perspective that left me thinking intrigued. It seems that there is still much to enjoy. Action, suspense, tender scenes, violence, amusing scenes, romance and a lot of passion.
