She was supposed to be my perfect little bride. Quiet. Uncomplicated. Unemotional.
I didn’t foresee the stunning firecracker who tumbled into my life and woke things in me I thought were long dead. I didn’t count on her turning my world upside down.
And I definitely didn’t plan on falling for this beauty.

This marriage was supposed to be my sacrifice. A way to save my father, a means to an end… I need to remain childless. So I can exit the contract at the end of the year.
He was supposed to be a boring old man. Distant. Uncomplicated. Passionless.
I didn’t foresee the rude, arrogant and beautiful brute who made my body react like fire and smoke. I didn’t count on there being more underneath his gruff exterior.
And I’m definitely not supposed to fall in love with the beast.
This is a completely NEW story using old characters from the unpublished novel, Girl Wife Prisoner. This version has no Keir, no cheating and a Happily Ever After. Although this book is part of a series, it is a standalone novel.
Bonus! Love Sprung From Hate, a full-length romantic suspense, is included as at the back of this ebook as a thank you.

Honor when misplaced can do major damage. These two twisted by pain and the past just tore each other apart for all the wrong reasons. Him in his pain from his families past, the sins of the father and mother in his case. Her with her father and her family. Their differences are their shields, their walls, their downfall.
This author takes us deep into the twisted thinking and feelings of a broken torn up soul who finds the one woman who may help him see what real love is all about. I love this author’s style. This book is emotional, strong, independent, true and wonderful, but it isn’t always an easy read.
So this is my first Sienna Blake book and I LOVED it. There are so much emotion and love brought into this story that I could not put it down. I had no idea what was going to happen on the next page that I just had to keep going. These two characters are in so much pain when they meet and all you want to do is see where it takes them. And man does it take you on a journey. This is a journey of discovery, growing up, and finally finding love.
Kintsugi : Finding beauty in brokenness
When a powerful man, Drake Blackwell, a billionaire CEO, gets a life alert/wake up call and needs to reorganise his life , he goes about it in a methodical logical way.
First things on the list :
->Get married
->produce an heir!
For both he needs a wife and since he’s sort of a workaholic sociopath, he needs to order one. His specifications – demure, docile, obedientGood Wife
What he hasn’t bargained for -Firecracker, outspoken, intelligent, Noriko!
His organised hardworking life is thrown in a chaos , and it’s all his stupid hearts doing which went and fell in love with his beautiful wife !
Damn.
She was a siren cloaked in innocence, that perfect blend of girl and woman, built to lure men to their doom.
Mrs. Blackwell.
My wife.
Mine.
Noriko comes from a poor but honourable family in Japan. Loyalty runs in her blood . Her love for her father drives her to accept this crazy offer and she sees it as a year of servitude . A means to an end towards her father’s treatment.
She’s very intuitive, perceptive and tender hearted. She’s able to see beyond the hard shell of Drake and touch his beautiful generous heart. He’s a scared little boy still , left behind , with abandonment issues. So he clutches Noriko in a cage like grip and never let’s her go.
Like an injured animal, protecting the open wound in his bleeding heart, lashing out at those closest to him, clawing those who tried to get near him.The boy inside of him who just needed someone to stay.
Their marriage of convenience hits rocky road right from the word go . Both inexperienced and stubborn and clueless in the matters of the heart
Why did love have to be so beautiful and terrible all at once? Sometimes it felt like a fairy-tale, at other times like war, a tempest on my soul, a siege against my heart.
I loved Drake’s character, he’s so standoffish, inappropriate and a Brute, but my heart melted for him. His desperate need to please is so endearing , his inner monologue about his fear to be alone brought tears to my eyes. Noriko was suitably confused and she did whatever she did with grace and dignity. I loved how Sienna delved into the angst story , which is her forté. I couldn’t put the book down, it was so engrossing. The story flowed smoothly and straightforwardly , some insightful lines and some very powerful emotions. I loved the book.
4.5 Monet stars
Oh my, where to start! Both Drake and Noriko grabbed my heart right from the get-go. Noriko is so spunky, and yet so sweet, she’d just wonderful! And Drake, oh Drake, he might just be my favorite of Sienna’s men yet. He’s not an easy man to love, but that just makes it even sweeter, does it not?
I won’t lie, this one did take me a couple chapters to get into it, but then it grabbed me by my soul and took me along for the entire ride. The ups and downs, the arguments and the tender moments. Even when he’s at his worst and you worry he might not be able to come back from the void, Drake has you on his side, wishing him to come out on the other side alright.
The unexpected sweet spot for me were also Noriko’s father and Loretta. Papa is just the most wonderful person, and it’s clear how much his experiences have influenced his girls. Loretta is almost as much a gift to Drake as Noriko, if only he would just accept it. Her steady love and guidance saved him from becoming the monster he could have easily turned into.
I can’t say enough about this book. In the end, it might be my favorite yet. The end just melted my heart and I want more!
