A billionaire bachelor, the woman who’s been crushing on him, and a fateful accident at his boarding stable…Third grade teacher Heather Carver has had her eye on Levi Rhodes for a couple of years now, but he seems to be blind to her attempts to charm him. She’s about to throw in the towel when an accident on his horse farm finally has him looking her way. Levi, who started his boarding stable … started his boarding stable from scratch, thinks he has everything he needs. Plenty of money, horses, and his beloved Texas Hill Country. Women have never brought him anything but trouble, and he’s not interested. No sirree.
Until his best friend’s little sister gets badly injured while at his stables. Then Heather infiltrates his life in ways he’d never thought possible, and his strict anti-female stance slips. Will Heather heal his emotional scars and he care for her physical ones so they can have a real relationship?

I’m not sure what it was about Heather and Levi’s story, but I enjoyed it much more than book 2 of the series. I voluntarily listened to and reviewed the Audio version received from the author. It was the same narrator, but the narration seemed to have more life, more happiness, more promise.
Feeling that way was kind of surprising considering the subject matter was heavier than in the previous book. I thought it was great that Levi found solace and peace in prayer.
I felt badly for Levi, especially after he found some joy in his life. I thought Heather had a slightly harsh reaction to what Levi said, especially after he had shared his deepest and darkest secrets with her. I’m not sure, but did Heather ever accept that she had control issues?
Levi and Heather found their way to each other with patience and prayer. They ended up with their HEA after all. I would give this book 4.5 stars.
I really enjoyed this romance. It was fast and slow all at the same time. There was so much emotions and passion and pains. It was a wonderful and engaging read. I couldn’t put it down!
I received a complimentary copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Hearher is been pinning for Levi for three years. He is her big brother’s best friend and has never noticed her. But when Heather falls from one of his horses Levi wants to take care of her. Will Heather break all the walls around Levi’s heart and make him fall in love with her? good audiobook
Friends as children. All grown up he finally sees her. I love this story of of big brothers best friend/little sister. A heartwarming read of faith, trust and overcoming past hurts and fears.
I received a free copy of this book from the author and am voluntarily leaving this review.
** Audiobook review ** Another fantastic story by Liz Isaacson that Caroline McLaughlin brings to life with her beautiful narration. This sweet romance brings together two characters previously mentioned in other the Grape Seed Falls series. I was soooo happy that Levi & Heather got their own story…and what a story it is! I refused to take my lunch break until I finished listening to this audiobook. Ha! Make sure you check out the series on audiobook (or read the books if audiobooks aren’t your thing).
Loved it
Heather has had a crush on Levi forever. He’s her brothers best friend. She went to his open Friday riding. But this time she was riding and the horse spooked and threw her. She broke her arm, and bruised pretty much everything else. But Levi stepped up.
I love anything written by Liz Isaacson.
Enjoyed reading
We first met Heather in book 2 of this series … she’s Dwayne’so sister. Heather was so good at giving her brother advice on his relationship with Felicity, she forgot to heed her own advice.
Heather has a major crush on Levi Rhodes. Levi is her brothers best friend so they’ve known each other their whole lives. The problem? That’s all he saw her as, his best friends sister. Heather goes to Levi’s riding stables every Friday. He never notices her; that is until a freak accident that involves her and one of his horses. This accident is what brings the two of them closer, closer than either of them ever dreamed of. Levi has demons in his past that still haunt him. Will these demons build a wedge between their new found likeness for each other? Will Heather’so past relationships do the same? God works thru us all in mysterious ways. Will He be able to help the two of them? What will their families think?
This was another great story written by Liz Isaacs on and I can’t wait to read the next one. Happy reading and hopefully you’ll enjoy this as much as you have the others.
I am completely addicted to this sweet, romantic series by Liz Isaacson. Levi and Heather’s story isn’t your typical HEA story. They are well developed, realistic characters who find several roadblocks along their path to happiness. I enjoyed getting to know flawed characters who just might be better together than they are apart.

In this third book of the Grape Seed Falls series, we meet with Heather and Levi once again. Heather has had an unrequited crush on Levi for years and her only consolation is that he doesn’t look at any female let alone her. In some ways she is luckier than most as Levi is her brother’s best friend and when he visits he at least has to acknowledge her. Her brother Dwayne has done his best to stear Heather’s attention away from Levi however the hearts wants what the heart desires. It is only when Heather has a serious fall at Levi’s stables that he acknowledges that his feelings for Heather go a bit deeper than he has allowed himself in the past. However, in order to start a relationship with the upbeat teacher, he first has to admit to his past and that is the hardest thing he has ever had to do. As the secrets start to come out, they become more and more difficult to swallow and eventually Heather withdraws knowing that until Levi has made his own peace with the past, she doesn’t stand a chance with him. There is so much pain and suffering in this book, and yet at the end of it all there is redemption and healing for those who seek it. There are characters in this book from previous books in the series and in many ways it is a continuation of Craving the Cowboy, but it is nevertheless a standalone and has a happy ending. I received a copy of this book as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.
Now I am sure that not everyone is as major of a Liz Isaacson fan as I am, but if you happen to be a fan of her novels about ‘Three Rivers Ranch’- you’ll love this book and the entire series! Wonderful characters, page turners, and inspirational are just a few of the adjectives that I would use to describe these novels by Ms. Isaacson!
“Charming the Cowboy” is the third novel in the Grape Seed Falls series and was beautifully written with an excellent story-line. This novel brings together two stories that we have come to love, the stories of Thatcher and Dewayne, as we find out what happens with their baby sister- Heather. Can Heather win over the love of her life, Levi, or is there too much time and distance between them? Can Levi overcome his dark past to have a bright future with the woman who has always been in front of him or are some secrets just to deep to rise to the surface?
This is the third novel in this series so far, but I look forward to the others to come later on in the future! The preview of the upcoming novel, “Courting the Cowboy” left all readers with an amazing story to look forward to. It also helps to know that there will be one more after that as well, “Claiming the Cowboy.” Bring on the wonderful novels, Ms. Isaacson, your reader’s (especially this one) cannot wait to read them!
