Even though I already owned Laura Greenwood’s “The Witch’s Stripes (The Paranormal Council Book 5),” I agreed to review it as an ARC via Booksprout; I recommend this book, & this series, to others based upon its own merits. All opinions expressed within this review are uniquely my own & freely given!
Until next time… Happy Reading!
A fantastic short read, gripping, I was hooked from the beginning and couldn’t put it down. Luke stumbles across his longer for mate at a photo shoot for an animal charity, but he and Dana attract unwanted attention.
The Witch’s Stripes by Laura Greenwood is a paranormal romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Sally Roughton.
I love Laura’s books! They are novella length and always leave me begging for more. This is the fifth book in the paranormal council and can be read as a standalone. I loved getting Dana and Luke’s love story.
Sally did a great job on the narration. I cannot wait to listen to more of her projects in the future.
I would recommend this book to anyone who loves insta-love Paranormal Romances.
Luke is a photographer and a request by his best friends sister-in-law had him walking into a large warehouse only knowing that it was a charity shoot. He had no idea what he would be taking pictures of. His first clue that it wasn’t your ordinary shoot was the large wood in the middle of the warehouse and the large number of people present.
What happens next sets the scene for the rest of the book. He meets Dana who is in charge of the charity. When the shoot begins, he realizes the wood is full of animals making gorgeous scenes to photograph. He was in seventh heaven as he had always wanted to do a live animal shoot in their natural habitat. Luke is a witch and it didn’t take much for him to realize all the animals were shifters. He didn’t mind though.
Then enters Bianca who crowded his personal space and started flirting with him. Something about her seemed off but, he wasn’t quite sure what.
Read this entertaining book for a HEA and a mystery resolved before the end. Great visual descriptions by the author. A continuation of the Paranormal Universe.

His magic is playing up as soon as he has to take over taking photos and it is all due to her. This is her mate and life is about to get very interesting. What will happen? See what will

This is the 5th book is Laura Greenwood’s Paranormal Council series. It was just as good as the others. The characters and story line were intriguing and kept me engaged with the story. Well done, to the author!
Dana is a tiger shifter and she runs a wildlife rescue for endangered animals. All the employees that work at the rescue are some kind of supernatural being, so she’s in good company, and it makes it better for the animals she is working to protect. She asks her best friend, Camille, who is a witch and her brother’s mate, if she knows a photography that could take some pictures for her. Enter Luke, another witch. It’s a instant connection, a love-at-first-sight romance between them, one that is chalk full of problems. Problems that start the moment Luke’s life is in danger. Dana jumps head first into the fight for her mate, no hesitation what so ever.
Want to know whether she saves him, then get a copy and read the book. You won’t be disappointed!
In this book we meet Dana a new member of the Council and a tiger shifter. While on a photo shoot for endangered animals she meets her mate Luke a witch. This book has magic, shifters, romance and mystery. I love getting to know all the council members in this series and how they all the books interconnect.
The fifth book in the completed Paranormal Council series a short well-written story that I enjoyed reading. This is tiger shifter charity spokeswoman, Dana and witch photographer Luke’s story. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Dana is a new member of the shifter council, but her main interest is in charity for endangered species. One day she and several other paranormals model in many forms for a photographer, who is himself paranormal.
Dana and Luke recognize the mate bond fairly early, but taking on some traits from your partner happens just on time to help in a dangerous situation.
Well written, with a touch of danger to the main characters, it is a fun short read, enjoyable and relaxing.

Luke loved Tigers and their stripes. His mate turned out to be a Tiger. Fast story but good. I received a complimentary review copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving a honest review.
While I like the writing and the premise of the story, the more of these I read, the more I feel like something is missing. Each book has stopped without explanations for important things and the next books are not answering them. Dana and Luke’s story seemed to have a slight shift also. I like Dana’s character, but wish we knew a little more about her and her mate. What’s up with the sparkles and will she manifest any of his magic? Why is it that some of them take on shifting and others don’t? What will happen to the villian? I think the books are too short, or should be released as a box-set (which would really be a novel since each book is so short). I keep going back and forth on the star rating of 2.5-3 stars.
I received a free copy of this book from Booksprout in exchange of an honest review.
This is the fifth book in the Paranormal Council series and boy oh boy I hope that there will be more to this series. I love all the characters in the series and hope that eventually there will be something about the kids from the couples. There were a few scenes that were quite funny. Even though this is a quick read it is well worth it.
