Saving Eira is book one in The Fae Queen Of Winter Trilogy. It has a medium heat reverse harem romance and is set in the Paranormal Council Universe.

If you’re looking at this for the RH, there’s plenty of that, although it doesn’t take over the entire book either. It has a really good underlying story that hooks you in, which I was glad to see. Eira is a descendant of Jack Frost, and it’s her yearly job to bring forth the frost, yet something is keeping that from happening this time. She has a full plate as it is with also getting used to the fact she now has 3 mates, but they also support her in getting the frost back. It’s a fun read and it makes you want to read the rest of the series.

Eira is a descendent of Jack Frost and her only job is to make sure the frost arrives on time but this year it’s late. Everything changes for Eira when she realizes her power is blocked. Rueben, Leth and Josh are Eira’s fated mates and are working together to find a way to get her power back. Great writing, interesting characters, a steamy reverse harem and a great start to the Fated Seasons series.
Eira is a descendent of Jack Frost and is in charge of bringing the frosts each year. However, something or someone is blocking her. Add in a vampire, a half-fey, and a witch and Eira has more than she can handle.
I like this Fated Seasons series. I hope the author continues this series.
I really enjoy LG’s writing style and characters. This one though I really wanted to smack around the men for being cryptic and annoying and I wanted to smack the heroine for letting them get away with it. Ugh. Did I mention I still liked them all? I did, like them all, that is. I enjoyed the story too. LOL. Enjoy.
***I decided to review an ARC of this book.***
See, our heroine is a descendant of Jack Frost and is responsible for making the frosts come. Frozen, right? Or perhaps not.
This is an urban fantasy reverse harem story, which means you get lots of supernatural creatures and activities, as well as steamy romantic interactions. The sex pretty much occurs off screen, but there is rather a bit of it. Not saying that is a bad thing. It’s cold out, right? So you have to generate heat somehow.
The story is very well written with a solid plot line and multiple intriguing characters. Our heroine is strong and self-possessed, willing to take some help from the men but on her terms. I felt there was good chemistry between our various suitors and really enjoyed their interactions.
Highly recommended.

I am loving that Laura Greenwood is getting a lot of her books done on audio, makes me fall in love with these characters all over again ! I thought Marina was perfect for Eira and did a good job with the guy voices (sometimes it was hard to understand what she was saying, I think that was mostly when she was playing Rueben. I thought her inflections and sarcasm/snark was on point haha. Also the guys personalities really shown through with Marina’s performance.
For the story, I cannot wait for more in this series. I absolutely love the guys (especially Josh). I was definitely channeling Eira when she was ready to jump Rueben haha. I also liked the complications with Leth and hope to see him stand up for Eira now that everything is out in the open. I am intrigued to see what happens with these Eira and Aledwen and the other Queens/Princesses. I was surprised the frost thing was sorta resolved already but still want to find out more.
Here’s to hoping these characters start super talking to Laura so we can get more of these amazing stories (she has to go with which characters are the loudest since she has so many amazing stories and characters going on at one in her head haha). Amazing job Laura and Marina, great combo for Saving Eira
This was an incredible read from start to finish…
This is a book you won’t want to put down, you’ll be hooked from the start, I enjoyed reading it. I’d recommend your book to anyone. The only time I put it down was to take care of a drink.

Saving Eira by Laura Greenwood is a wonderful new start to a brand new series. I am so in love with this new series, it is fast paced and funny and in some places it is a steamy read. I loved reading this story and I highly recommend this story and if you buy it you will not be disappointed.

What do you do when you feel attracted to 3 men at the same time, all involved are paranormals of different abilities, and suddenly someone wants to mess with one of your rights/duties? Eira is a descendant of Jack Frost and it is her duty to bring winter to the world.. Together with her 3 mates, a witch, a vampire and a half-fae, she is fighting to get winter back into the world – and to learn more about her mates and her own newly won abilities.
A lovely story and a good read for a quiet afternoon or evening.

Somewhere in Eira’s family tree, there was a bit of succubus. Without regular sex, things don’t go well for her.
Avoiding a rep as a slut, she seeks out some relief sex with the help of a friend – too bad he doesn’t seem to be on the receiving end – at least not initially.
But with a somewhat succubus appetite, needs must be met, even if a number of candidates are needed to find a true happy.
f/m/m/?? reverse harem, supernatural entities involved in some steamy stuff. snarky fun erotica.

This is the first book in the Fated Seasons series and of course it is a reverse harem, the genre that just has me scrambling to find all the books to read at once. I love the imagination that the author used to put the descendant of Jack Frost as a main character and have her as also being part succubus. We find out that the neighbor is her best friend Josh, who she has been in love with for a long time, but never spoke about it. There is also a cocky vampire and a half-summer fae that are part of her little harem. You definitely need to read this series to see just what Eira has to go through to complete her task of making sure frost arrives on time.
***SPOILERS***
I really like the storyline concept for this book, it is definitely an interesting approach to a Fae style book. The events that took place really had promise, but the whole feel was a bit lackluster.
A lot of the relationship felt way too rushed. For example, they’ve been together for what…like a week?….and they’re already talking about their future child. And it was continuously brought up throughout the entire book.
I get that’s it’s a true mate insta-bond thing, but those types of bonds are fairly boring. Primarily because as the reader, we don’t get to see the development of the relationship, it’s just magically there and in full force. Besides that, the characters were fairly one dimensional.
On a side note: Eira repeatedly mentions Leth’s punishment through almost the entire book. Even at ridiculous times, it just didn’t make sense and was slightly bizarre. Really, there were a few occasions throughout the book where it seemed a little male bashy. I know it’s a book where the Fae society is matriarchal, but it was to the point where the way Eira thought sometimes seemed less “strong, independent woman” and more “keep them under her thumb” type of woman.
The number of editorial errors was very distracting from the storyline. They were throughout the entire book, and it is more a case of the wrong word used rather than a misspelled one.

It’s a spin off from the Paranormal Council series, which I loved. Saving Eira is a great love story with an HEA, so a win for me and other readers. I like that Eira is fiesty and doesn’t go down without a fight and her men are right there to help support her. So yes, I definitely recommend this book even if you haven’t read any of the Paranormal Council series or the other spin offs.

This was an amazing book!! Kept me captivated, and I loved the unique telling of Jack Frosts descendants. Eira is awesome and funny, and the book has a HEA ending, which I love. Would definitely recommend this series 🙂
I enjoyed this book, the characters are great and the world building was done wonderfully. The storyline was great and I absolutely loved Eira and her personality. Looking forward to reading more.
