This is the first book Anna has ever written and it’s pretty amazing! William and Ana are absolutely beautiful. Ana is only in the states on a work Visa. William is a pro football player. When they crash 8nto each other at a night club sparks fly and that becomes the start of a push and pull of emotions. Ana knows her time in the states is limited and she doesnt want to fall in love when she knows she will have to leave. But William doesnt take no for an answer. But then Ana had to go home so one night of bliss she says goodbye leaving him a gift to find. Such a beautiful story of two people that finally beat the distance.
Lost & Found is a touchdown for Anna B. Doe! I love William and Anabel!
William Price is the QB1 for the New York Knights. He’s sexy as sin, hot as hell, and used to getting what he wants. Anabel Majar is a sweet, young college student, working as an au pair in New York while school is out. William and Majar are not only different in where they are in life, but also could not be more different in appearance. Lost & Found is about a girl who accidently rocks the star player’s world, and how nothing is ever the same after that.
I loved William and Anabel. This was definitely a cute YA romance, filled with angst. The constant push, pull of their relationship left me guessing as to if they would get their happy ever after. Anabel was keeping a secret, that kept her pushing him away no matter how much she wanted him and he wanted her. I loved William’s determination to make Anabel see they belonged together.
Lost & Found is a sweet, cute romance that leaves you feeling all kinds of happy, but maybe hoping for a little more of them. But Lost & Found is a definite win for Doe!
I’m not gonna lie, I had a bit of a love/hate relationship with Anabel while reading this story. Now hear me out…I understood that she felt lost and was adrift which is why she took off, to find herself. I loved that she threw caution to the wind and moved to America to discover who she is or could be. It was a whole new world for her and she seemed to embrace it from the beginning. Where I became frustrated was the hot and cold vibes that she was always throwing at William. The man was a saint to put up with everything she dished out especially with his easy going playboy past. I really enjoyed the interaction that Anabel and William had and the friendship that they developed over the time they spent together. However my poor heart almost didn’t survive the trials the two had to go through in the end to figure out what was best for them. I’m so anxious to see where these two end up and can’t wait to read #Until
As a huge fan of sports romance and jocks I really wanted to read this series.
I was not disappointed with the sports romance and the hot jock in this book. The story was good and unique. However I couldn‘t really get warm with Anabel the female main character in this story. In my opinion she did a few things without any real reason. This is just my opinion. I honestly was more interested in the story of Sienna and J.D. I also likes Will and his Family really much and I loved how we could see different things of their relationship and his career.
The writing was good and you could easily read it in one sitting.
The book was good and I‘m very thankful for receiving an ARC.
Can‘t wait to see the new Covers of this series.
This was such a great story. Anabel and Will are so perfect for each other. I love how Will was willing to do whatever it took to win over Anabel. I do wish Anabel wasn’t so hesitant with starting a relationship with Will, but then again if it went that way the story wouldn’t be what it is. I think Anna did an excellent job developing not only the story but also her characters. As the story develops you grow more attached to them and are you find yourself yelling at them to make a certain decision. I look forward to reading more about Will and Anabel’s relationship and see where it goes.
After getting her English degree Anabel doesn’t know what to do with her life, so when her best friend calls with a job she takes it. So Ana moves to the states and become an au pair. Or basically a live in nanny.
William is a NFL quarterback and is surprised when Ana doesn’t know who he is when they meet. Doesn’t stop him from wanting her though. Too bad Ana doesn’t seem too into it.
William is the perfect guy in this book. He’s a jock, but he’s sweet when it matters and the way he is with Ana is beyond special. He’s patient with her, and gives her space when she needs it, even if he doesn’t. He’s super sweet and totally into her at all times. Even when she’s pushing him away.
To be honest Ana is not my favorite female character by any means. Most times I didn’t even get her motives, as they are. I can sort of understand them, but they seem counterintuitive to me. I’m not saying she’s bad female character, just very indecisive, difficult, and even a bit childish in her thoughts sometimes. I get it, it’s the way she thought things would be, but not too smart in the long run.
William does not give up on what he wants though, and what he wants is Anabel. I don’t know if I’ve ever read a more determined male character when it comes to getting the girl, other than William and that made me love him all the more. Another good part to this book is Ana’s American best friend Sienna. She’s a trip and a half and I have a little girl crush on her. Now I’m off to read her story.
Just the title had me intrigued! Author Anna B Doe’s book has all the feelings that needs to be in her book, but most of all I Ioved William and Anabel love story. The heart crushing weight that sat heavy on their chest while they were apart was heartbreaking !
Will William and Anabel get a happily ever after or will there be more to their story?
Lost & Found is the first book that I’ve read from Anna B. Doe and it will not be my last! I’m never really sure what to expect when trying a new author, but William and Anabel’s story instantly drew me in.
Anabel isn’t sure what to do with her life so she decides to become and Au Pair in the United States… New York, to be specific. After starting her new job she becomes fast friends with her host’s sister, who takes her out on the town. While out she runs into (literally) the star quarterback of the New York Knights, William Price. Anabel, being from Croatia, knows nothing about American football and doesn’t recognize him. There is an instant connection between the two and try as he may William cannot get Anabel to give into her feelings. Our hero is resilient though and knows what he wants.
William and Anabel’s story is the best kind of slow burn. It has angst, sexual tension, and a little bit of sweet all rolled into it. I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys the romance genre. Thank you Anna B. Doe for putting all the time, dedication, and effort in to create such a beautiful story.
wow, I can’t believe this book was a debut novel! Anna B. Doe wrote a beautiful story and I can’t wait to read more of her work. As the story progresses, I did have some frustrations with the heroine – mostly because she is young and a little immature in the way she handled the developing romance/relationship she had with the hero, but the story just sucked me in so much that I overlooked those frustrations and kept reading. I am sooooo glad that I did. I definitely recommend everyone read this book and follow it up with Forever, the novella companion to Lost and Found. I am going to be keeping a close eye on Anna’s future releases…
