“Stranded up a cliff-face? Check. Pants ripped open for all the world (and my sexy boss) to see? Double check. Never mind my professional reputation, the only thing I can think is: why, oh why did I have to wear a thong today?”Jack Callahan has the hottest smile in tech. And as for his ass…ets – well, there’s a reason he’s the biggest playboy in town. But thanks to douche-bro investors and my … and my snake of a college nemesis (don’t ask), he’s also my last shot to take my new dating app from kick-ass idea to world-conquering, million-dollar reality.
`
There’s just one problem: he doesn’t believe you can make a program for love.
With my future on the line, I set him a challenge: if I can use the app to find his soulmate, he’ll invest in my company. Simple, right?
Wrong.
It turns out, Jack’s cocky attitude pushes my buttons – in all the sexiest, most infuriating ways. My research tells me he’s the absolute worst guy in the world for me… so why can’t I keep my hands off him?
And with my deadline approaching fast, how will I choose between my big break – or a broken heart?

This is my first read by Lila Monroe, but it won’t be my last. Perfect Match is charming and witty, making for a fast-paced, lighthearted tale. McKenna is a great combination of sass and determination and Jack is such an endearing playboy. Their banter and the lengths that MaKenna goes to get Jack’s backing for her business are amusing and fun. The chemistry between this pair is almost palpable and they are so good together, even when they won’t admit it.
Perfect Match is part of the Lucky in Love series, but works well as a standalone. It’s well-written with likable characters, some chuckle-worthy situations, and a fast-paced, sexy romance.
A fabulous funny romantic comedy .

Loved their fun and flirtatious banter! McKenna is not a woman to back down and Jack soon realizes that he may have met his match in more ways than one!

I enjoyed this quick and light read but it isn’t a surprise for me to like Lila Monroe’s rom-coms.
McKenna and Jack are a good couple of characters with a fiery attraction for each other but their business relationship prevent them from acting on their chemistry.
Jack doesn’t believe in true love but after McKenna insistence he decides to give a chance to her new dating app and her love algorithm and maybe he will finally change his mind finding his perfect match.
I recommend to read this story when you are in the mood for a light, sexy and funny time.
Like all of Lila Monroe’s books, this is an enjoyable light rom-com. Loved the chemistry and the humor between Jack and McKenna. What did take this down from a 5 to 4 star was the inevitable relationship stumbling block. Jack goes from Prince Charming to total a-hole on a dime. Which I might be able to get over if McKenna didn’t become a bit of a doormat and forgive him immediately. I wish she had made him work a little harder to win him back.
Swoony, saucy, and sexy…Perfect Match is the perfect feel-good romance!
Perfect Match is a light-hearted, funny AF, and engaging love story! It proves over and over again how opposites attract, and the uncontrollable desires two people share for one another. The character dynamic was top-notch, and showcases Ms. Monroe’s unique writing style thoroughly. Where her previous books in the Lucky in Love series all share an unwavering comedic undertone, this book really exhibits character drive, ambition, and determination against all odds.
Jack and McKenna are incredible characters! Their individual backgrounds weave together as their story together develops, making it utterly impossible to not fall in love with both of them. As much as their outlooks on love differ, it’s the characteristics they each display that shows they’re more similar than what they thought. But it’s their constant banter and amusing situations, coupled with their sizzling chemistry (both in and out of bed), that propels this story to a remarkable level.
Perfect Match catches your attention from the start. I was instantly intrigued with this book by just the blurb alone, and the story does not fail. Every book I read from Ms. Monroe just gets better and better, and she continues to wow her readers with her rich, heartwarming, fiery, and passionate love stories.
Hilarious and entertaining, Perfect Match is a definite one-click must read!
5 Stars!
4.5 Star Review of Perfect Match by Lila Monroe
Lila Monroe was a new author to me and to be honest I have no idea why that is the case. I absolutely loved Perfect Match; the premise intrigued me and I jumped at the chance to read and review. Having finished this book all I can ask myself is why have I not read her books before.
Both Jack and McKenna are such strong and determined people that you just knew going into the story that sparks were going to fly and fly they did.
I thoroughly enjoyed Perfect Match which had me cringing in places as well as laughing out loud was truly invested in reading this book and couldn’t wait to see how this “match” would play out. I also loved how vulnerable, yet feisty McKenna was and admired her strength and determination to find the backing she desperately needed for her App to reach the next level.
She had her hands full with the charming and take charge Jack Callaghan and I admit he made me swoon. Although having said that I also wanted to smack him up the back of the head on occasion for being a jerk.
There were laughs and plenty of sizzle between Jack and McKenna and I really felt that these two were in fact each others “Perfect Match”. They really did bring out the best and the worst in each other.
The writing was strong as was the story line and I will most definitely be reading more of Lila Monroe’s books.
