Chelsie Peebles – an OB/GYN for vampires – is dying from stage four glioblastoma, and there is only one cure. She must turn into a vampire herself. Keeping the devastating news from her vampire family, she researches her options for survival. But the realization is that she is going to die. In her desperation, she blackmails her clinic into aiding her through her life-altering transformation. Asa … transformation. Asa Bradley, one of Chelsie’s partners, thinks she is crazy. But he has no idea she’s dying. He is, however, bewitched by her, and wants to know why she is hellbent on becoming one of them.
By invitation, he goes to see her sing at a Country and Western bar, and is instantly mesmerized by her angelic voice and seductive body.
Trouble is, the band’s singer, and Chelsie’s ex, Chad thinks she belongs to him. Dangerously possessive, he threatens to hurt her if Asa doesn’t back off.
Undeterred by a human, Asa romances Chelsie, gaining her trust and her affections. They inevitably lead him to discover Cheslie’s deadly secret.
Can Asa keep Chelsie safe from the maniacal Chad and get her the transformation she needs? Or will it be a race against time to see who kills her first: cancer, or her villainous ex?

one of the reasons is because the daughter’s r still with the mother and are a part of the story I love the way its wrote.
I really enjoyed the world created for vampires in this story. Chelsie and Asa’s story is amazing. Chelsie doesn’t want anyone to know what’s going on with her and once the truth is revealed, everything works out fine. Now I have to read the first 2 books in the series!
Chelsie is the only daughter of Mia that remains human. She has found out she only has a limited time to live because of a brain tumor. She does not tell her family about it, instead she proposes a change to a vampire for other reasons. She is a doctor at the V clinic, but she also sings with a band in her spare time. One band member, Chad is someone she used to date at one time. Now, ten years later he is still the same. Cheater, liar and doing drugs, selfish! He wants her to take them to stardom at the risk of her medical career. It is not what she wants and he will not leave her alone! She discovers Asa has feelings for her and they are life mates. But, Chad is deranged and wants her at any cost..possibly even her life! What will happen? What will he do? Also, there comes a point where her Christianity is at odds with what Asa believes! Now, she has many choices to make…which will she take? Will she survive if she does not get changed? Can she survive without Asa? This is the third book in the series and it is just as superb as the first two! Ms. Campbell manages to give each pair their story without boring the reader! She brings to life each character within the story…it makes us wish we were there! I received this as an ARC and am leaving a voluntary review.
Another great installment in the Forever & A Night series. The characters, Vampire or Human, are strong in their faith. I love Lana’s take on Vampires, they are not creatures but humans with a blood disease. They have the same issues as regular humans, they have moral convictions (or lack thereof), they love, they hurt, and they search for their lifemate. This book is another page turner.
Another great read!!!
I am quite the fan of the Forever and a Night series! Book 3 did not disappoint me!
Campbell’s writing is deep, engaging and she has an amazing way of tying in Christian concepts to the paranormal. Her characters are always complex and interesting. The novel has a great flow of intrigue and excitement. A definite must read series!!!
Asa and Chelsie were very relatable minus the vampire thing. The emotions were not just read but felt by me the reader. That alone gave the book a five-star rating. If I could, I would Give another five-star because it was just that good.
Asa and Chelsie’s story was my favorite so far. These two have such a rich, sweet bond and so much love for each other and I liked how the author introduced faith and religion into the story.
Once again Lana Campbell has written an amazing book! As with books 1&2 you get sucked into the story on page 1, and you don’t come up for air until you read the last word! I absolutely love this series!
