Cat and Tate’s story is incredible. Secrets are revealed, truths told, dangers confronted. I love this series and highly recommend it.
Cat’s wishes answered! So many feels in this book! So many questions answered and a HUGE revelation at the end! A couple actually! The hunt for answers is on! This story was crazy good! Although it was a little slow with all of the backstory at the beginning it was quick to heat up! It was so cute in so many ways! Tate and Cat had such remarkable chemistry! But since they have so much history together they were constantly feeling each other out. I’m glad they finally just went for it. Sometimes ya gotta just listen to your inner animal! Mrs Gorri always knows how to pull her readers into the story and have them screaming for the blood of her villains. I was foaming at the mouth over the handling of cat and screaming a battle cry during the fight scene . World building is amazing and I absolutely LOVE Charley! I can’t wait to read the next book! 5 from me!
This story was so amazing.Tate and Cat had me sucked in and rooting for them from prom night til the end.. I think this series is going to be a new addiction for me..
It’s a great paranormal read. I enjoyed the story and loved the characters. Werewolves are my favorite paranormal creatures to read about, and this series is going great so far. I can’t wait to read the next book about Macconwood Pack. <3
Cat’s been in love with Tate since she was young. She confessed her love at her senior prom to him and he rejected her and broke her heart. Tate’s been in love with Cat equally long but he doesn’t think he’ll ever be good enough for her. She’s his best friend’s sister. Rafe is the Alpha which makes Cat unattainable in his eyes. Idiot. Now years later and a twist of circumstances that puts them in one place and both unable to flee will they get another chance? Will Tate man up and claim his mate or will he trample on her heart again?
I very much enjoyed this book and recommend. This was written well and has more background and development than the first book in the series. I have no complaints except a few errors but thats an editing problem not the book itself.
Another great book in the series. Poor Cat and Tate have loved each other forever but never told the other. After having to spend time together in his cabin they decide to just let it all go. It’s a great HEA book and I will definitely read more in the series.
I really enjoyed this book. In the first book I felt that they got to the “action; falling in love part” to quickly. But this second book flowed very nicely. There was ample story telling before and after they fell in love. It was quick, but also perfectly written to give the reader time to fall in love with the characters.
Catriona, or Cat, has been in love with Tate since forever. Tate has a secret. He’s in love with her, too. Another has plans to use Cat against her brother and Tate must protect her. Will their love blossom or wilt?
Full of great heart stopping action, heartbreaking angst and heart lifting love, Cat’s Howl is the second fantastic book in the Macconwood Pack series. Cat and Tate get the second chance to do it right while fighting off the faction that threatens her life and seeks to take over the Pack. All those years ago, he thought himself unworthy; she, unlovable. Will they continue to deny the decree of the Universe, or will they seize the day and accept the love and power of the matebond? Get this book and discover the well written world of the Macconwood Pack.
Great Story, I really loved reading Cat and Tate’s story. Cat and Tate denied their feelings for each other for a long time. Now, Cat may be in danger so Tate is assigned to protect her. They’re all alone and forced to confront their feelings for each other.
Such a great series!!!!
“Purr”fectly Delightful Love Story!
Cat Maccon, sassy independent werewolf and Alpha’s younger sister, purrs when happy. Did you ever know a Wolf to purr? A must read love story and so much more. Enjoy!
Second book in the series. I loved the way that we really got an in-depth look at the 2 main characters it made it so much more satisfying at the happily ever after.
Purr for him
This is the kind of love I think we all wish for. An enduring love that you hold in your heart even after you think it has broken. I love these characters! Cat is everything I would hope for from the sister of the alpha who has led a hard life, and Tate is her perfect mate, well if he can come to terms with that. I was overjoyed with the way the author brought them back together when doubt tore them apart. Pair the emotions with the danger and this story made for the perfect Saturday morning read. This author really does an amazing job with her universe and I can’t wait to see what she brings us next.
Catriona Maccon has had feelings for Tate Nighthawk since she first went through her change.
And at 18, he turned her down – flat.
No one has meant anything to her since then – she just never let romance have meaning.
But now they are both in her home town, in the manor that now belongs to her brother, not her cold father.
Can they keep apart? Or will they finally realize the truth and strength of their bond?
Dark witchcraft, skeevy rogues and other packs, war on multiple fronts.
Now is time for true bonds – if they have the strength.
A great read, I read it on Kindle Unlimited
Sexy and powerful story!
Cat Maccon is a wolf that “purrs”!! After being rejected by Tate Nighthawk (a wolf in her Pack) on the night of her prom (she’s been in love with him for years) she leaves the Maccon Pack and goes to college and gets her MA in Justice Administration and Public Services. Her strict father, Alpha Zev had died and her brother Rafe is now Alpha. He has made many changes in the Pack and one is starting his Wolf Guard and one is Tate Nighthawk. When Cat comes home, she wants to be one of the Guards but Rafe says no. Instead she become a deputy in the Maccon County Sheriffs Dept. Unknown to Cat, Tate has always wanted her too but she is the Alpha’s sister and he feels he unworthy of her. Some of the older generation aren’t too happy with all the changes Rafe has made. A certain someone, Skoll, is causing dire consquences involving Cat. Tate is to be her protector, will he now make his Cat “purr”?
Loved this fast reading, action packed story. Has danger, action, some humor and romance! Highly recommend this book.
I have finally read this story in this wonderful wolf shifter series.
Cat is Alpha Rafe’s sister, she is sick of being told what to do and becomes someone worthy of respect as county sheriff right after graduating. Cat has always had a crush on Tate her brother’s friend however he hurt her badly. Basically rejected her and this female isn’t going to take it again.
Tate knows he made a mistake but his past and insecurities caused it does he get another chance? Well, these two will find themselves in a few bad situations with time to figure it out.
Cat also learns of some disturbing news and she will need him by her side.
I enjoyed this story and the characters.
This one seemed to be a bit more fast-paced and shorter than the first book.
Cat and Tate have a history that Cat would rather soon forget. However, when things are meant to be fate will find a way to right the wrongs that have been done.
Although this is a good read, I had a harder time reading this one and connecting with the characters. The POV changes so fast that there were times I had to go back to re-read because I was all of sudden reading “him” not “her”. There also seemed to be a lot more spelling errors in this one. When the books seem shorter things like this seem to be more glaring than if the book was longer.
A good fast paced shifter romance story. I’m not sure why but I had a bit of a hard time getting into the story. I think it’s because I had trouble connecting with the characters. Not sure but the story itself wasn’t bad just a quick PNR read.
