Rachel is the queen of ANGST! If you want your heart to go on a roller-coaster ride, Rachel is your girl!! Such an amazing booK!
This book stressed me out lol! It took me on an emotional journey. I often found myself yelling at the characters out of frustration..But I guess that it just a testament to how well developed the characters are. I’m an avid reader and a lover of romance novels but this is the first book I’ve read in a while that made me feel this attached. Well done.
I liked the story up until the last third of the book.
Life Plus One is the last book in Rachel’s Real Seal Series! What a way to end the series! I absolutely love friends to lovers romance and this book gave me all the feels!! Not to mention the steam factor…they were on fire!!
Ben made some life choices early on that affected his friendship with Harper. They were supposed to go to college together but life happened and he chose to become a Navy Seal. Harper was left to carry on her life while he was out saving the world.
As time went on, they tried to remain friends. They both became involved with other people even though they had an undeniable attraction. Life sometimes makes hard choices for you and you don’t get a say; will they be able to maintain a friendship through the worst moments of their lives?
Will they come out the other side together? Will they ever be more than friends or was their chance robbed from them forever?
This book was so heart breaking! They never seemed to catch a break. Luckily love can prevail!! I previously said Hero Hair was my fav book of the series, but I think Life Plus One took the top spot!!
This is my first Rachel Robinson read, it won’t be my last. Life Plus One is sweet, angsty, and passionate all at the same time. It will pull on your emotions and frustrate you beyond belief. Ben and Harper’s story is a lifelong journey that is anything but smooth. Anyone who roots for the geeks will love this one.
The story of childhood love… a boy name Ben and a girl name Harper.. two young soul who know each other in so many level.. may say they are like reflection of each other…
Its pretty unique to see how their relationship develop… its bonding, loving, selfish in some matters…thats young love..
Through time… they both goes on with their life somehow still drawn toward each other… how can you deny the feeling when it always there? It always linger on how he/she feel or say.. my bestfriend..
Love can be many feelings..it can be naive.. it can hurt and broken up to million pieces..
Rachel… what a great gem.. im in awe with your story.. its different.. it can be naive yet it grab your heart to know there is a chance for people who are facing similar situation..
From the prologue, I was completely captivated. Everything flowed perfectly and I adored Ben and Harper’s story.
The secondary characters were very well written and I had a feeling where it was going (I was so wrong) but I NEVER expected things to happen the way they did!
I enjoy how in some chapters you went back to the past..prom, their first time…every piece showed their relationship perfectly. I loved the little pieces of their past that explains their relationship so well.
Life Plus One was a wonderful book that is full of so much emotion. Honestly, I have never read a book that had me this emotional, and I enjoyed every minute of it.
This book broke my heat at times. I felt bad for the female character, loved all the tension that was created and how it ended. Overall a great book.
I loved this story!!
