Colton Allyster is relieved to be back home. After six months of rehabilitation, losing his career as a Marine along with his fiancé, he’s had to learn quickly what’s really important. Colton grew up wanting to serve his country. Managing his parents’ biker bar was never part of his plan, but after meeting Gia Caro, he’s beginning to think that’s exactly where he’s meant to be. Ever since Gia … Caro arrived in the small, sleepy town of Ruby Falls, Tennessee, her life has spiraled out of control. Between losing her grandmother a little more each day to dementia, and her hot boss’s constant attention, her once quiet existence isn’t so quiet anymore. After weeks of sidestepping Colton, things get out of hand, and before Gia knows what’s happening, she’s spending her nights in his bed and her mornings in his kitchen. And as he cleans out drawers and makes room in his closet, she starts to wonder if she’s falling too fast.

I like to call this a workplace romance since Gia and Colton work together. It’s my little joke. Anyway this story was cute although I expected it to be more of an insta-love. It did take a while for them to finally get together. *side eye to Colton* I also expected a bit more to the epilogue considering other works from this author. Overall I liked it and would recommend.
Gia is new in town, there to take care of her grandma that she thought was long gone. She is a genuinely sweet and shy person and I loved that about her. She was such a sweetie and I believe it was phrased in the book “a sweet and kind woman who is just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside”…pretty much sums her up. Colton is recovering from an accident in the military, where he had to learn how to walk again, and now he’s helping his parents run their business. These two have such amazing chemistry and obviously he couldn’t hire her fast enough. He pursues her, but she keeps trying to keep her distance, not gonna lie, persistence always pays off, you know what I’m saying. He’s a sweetie too and after what he’s been through, he knows that life is short and precious, so he goes after what he wants. I can totally appreciate and admire this about him, yes please.
This book had such a great storyline and I fell for these two as a couple, they both deserved the hea they got. There was a series of suspicious events, a crazy ex that just couldn’t accept that it was over. She left him in the hospital when she thought he couldn’t walk again…so yeah, she’s null and void people. But she just couldn’t accept that they were done, even though he was more than vocal and honest about it. So, some ow drama, but no om drama. Shout out to his family and bestie, Tide…psst, can he get a book too please….just sayin. Adored her bestie, Nat too. Safe read with some suspense, an awesome alpha, a sweet and shy heroine, epilogues (plural) and an hea.
Colton sometimes just doesnt give his girl any options, “I’m going to kiss you, Gia, and it’s going to happen a lot. So smart or not, it is what it is.” Colton is very protective, “first, it’s doubtful that anyone would ever say something to you at my gym. But if some mothereffer ever made you feel uncomfortable, I would lay them the eff out.” I loved this book, I adored Colton
Sweet, romantic, and completely smoking HOT, Falling Fast is classic ARR at her best!
This book captures everything, and more, we love about Aurora’s writing. A sexy and total-alpha male, a gorgeous and wholesome female, and a unique story line that seeps into your heart with love and emotions. Falling Fast expresses that family means everything. It proves that people will go above and beyond anything for those they love. The difficult and heartbreaking circumstances the characters endure balances the passionate and erotic aspects of the story line.
I could not get enough of this book! Lust and heat blend perfectly with raw and authentic desire, causing a fiery explosion of cravings and hunger throughout the story. If you’ve read Aurora’s books, then you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about.
From the comedic dialogue, to the utter devastation of loss and pain, Falling Fast is a beautifully penned novel, and one of the best books I’ve read in 2017!
Definite 5-star must read!
I really enjoyed this one! This gave me the feels I was expecting when I read a few months ago. I finished this book so fast that I was wanting more still I realized it was over.
Gia comes to Ruby Falls after finding out her grandma that she thought was dead is in fact alive but had dementia. She drives down to help take care of her. Once she gets there her funds are getting smaller and smaller. She decides to get a job and ends up going to the local bar in town for an interview. Here she meets Colton who works there and is the owner’s son. This is where our story begins.
I loved Gia and Colton together! The chemistry between these two could start a forest fire! Colton was the perfect love interest to me. He was sweet, sexy, and just plain amazing. The intensity in which he cared for Gia was soul crushing. The more I kept reading, the more I I kept falling in love with his character. Gia was such a sweetheart. She was caring and wasn’t afraid to stand up to Colton. I loved the back and forth banter between them.
We had some drama of course. We had a crazy ex who refused to let Colton move on, we had some suspense working in the background, and we had to go with Gia on her journey of getting her grandma back and how to take care of her.
The next book looks like its going to be about Tide. I can’t wait to read about his story with his daughter.
If your thinking about picking this book up, do it!
4.5 Stars for Aurora Rose Reynolds
Once again another great read from this extremely talented author, and once again she shows she is not afraid to touch on subjects others would shy away from. I adored this book, I was drawn in from the first chapter and I had to read it in one sitting I needed to know the outcome of this love story.
Colton a ex marine who hasn’t had it easy as far as relationships go, family and loyalty are the most important thing to him and Gia a woman who believed she had no family left, will Colton be her rock and support her through some real tough times. This is a beautifully written love story with some great characters, it’s not only sweet it’s hot and steamy and I really hope the author gives us a story about the secondary characters.
Gia Caro finds out that the grandmother she loved and thought was dead for the past ten years was alive and needed her. Gia dropped everything and ran to her side. Regretting not being by her side for the past ten years she will do anything she can to spend their last moments together. When she needs cash she finds herself looking for a job at the Dusty Rose a biker bar with an even hotter owner. Colton thought he had his happily ever after; he had a gorgeous finacé and was serving his country in the Marines until a tragic accident took everything from him. Now his ex-fiancé wants him back and will step on anyone in her way even the new waitress at his bar. WOW!! This book is just WOW!! Aurora Rose Reynolds gives us hot men, gorgeous women, danger, sex, suspense and revenge all rolled up around a huge slice of romance. This is a must read book. I loved how Gia was such a sweetheart inside and out. Colton was a brave and strong man, who would do anything for those he cared about but if you crossed him or his then watch out!!! I love the supporting cast so much, you become so involved in everyone’s lives. You are rooting for the good and booing the bad. Definitely a MUST READ!!!!
“Watching her go, I know I’m screwed, because I have never in all my life wanted anything the way I want Gia Caro.”
I’m SO IN LOVE with these two.
I feel like I’ve been saying that a lot lately as I begin reviews. Either I’m picking all the right books to review, or the romance world is getting more and more full of great stories (I like to think it’s the latter).
Colton and Gia are a couple I never saw coming. Their story doesn’t have a super heavy plot line, but that doesn’t mean there is not story here. Gia has come back to a small town in Tennessee to help her grandmother, but when she’s there finds so much more. She begins working, and that is what leads her to Colton. He is her boss, of sorts, and has plenty of his own going on. These two legitimately “fall fast,” but it’s not an easy fall.
This story is filled with the sweetness of a small town, some intrigue, and all the beauty of falling for someone even if your brain tells you it might not be a good idea.
I would like to make one request (read: DEMAND) —
Tide, Nat, and Carson BETTER get their story told! I mean, please
Aurora Rose Reynolds did it for me, again! I really adored this book! It was touching, emotional, funny and sexy. I could have kept reading about Colton and Gia and the rest of the family. I can’t imagine there was 1 person who read Until June that didn’t want to know more about this couple.
Colton- he was awesome. Sexy, sweet, loved his family, former marine with a determination that made him even hotter. He saw Gia and he knew. I loved his patience with her and her situation. He put just the right amount of pressure on her to win her over. He was her rock.
Gia- such a sweetheart. She’d lost both parents, and with the exception of her bestie Nat, was on her own I the world. I loved how she dropped everything to be with her grandma. She was loving, devoted and fragile, yet strong.
– No cheating – neither are with others after meeting
– no om drama
-ow drama – Colton’s ex was psycho and tried to cause problems. He despised her. He didn’t hesitate to put her in her place.
– No pushing away
-low angst
– no violence of any nature
– secondary characters were great and I want a story about a couple of them!
– great epilogue 3 years, then one more year out…. I would have loved even more!
Another great book by Aurora Rose Reynolds. She has once again given us a book that has so much in it which makes it impossible not to love. These two characters were perfect for each other. She is the loving woman who cares so much for those she loves. He is the alpha man that can’t resist her and wants to protect her. Their attraction is instant but there is a bit of a build into something more, although outside sources bring it on even more faster.
This is a must read. Once you start reading you aren’t going to want to put it down. I highly recommend this book. Your emotions will take a crazy ride reading this one for sure.
