She was my first love. She was my first hate. The very sun in my world tried to burn me alive with her lies and cruelty.Until I dimmed her light for good… misery is my music.
Thrilling. Invigorating. Intoxicating.
For so long, all I’ve done is hate her.
So why do I love her?

I wish I could give this book so many more stars than five. I am not going to say much do not want to spoil it for others you just need to read this book.
This story is emotional, its had me grabbing the tissues, I felt like I was right there going through what they were going through.
I can never put into words to do this book justice just know it is a K Webster book and you just expect the unexpected.
This story is everything, K took her real-life pain and turn it into a beautiful story and poured her heart and soul into this book and you can feel it through the pages.
Raven, Rome, Courtney. Will forever have a place in my heart Raven what a beautiful person she was my heart breaks even thinking about her now. The story is just so well written, you get lost in the words and you are there feeling what they feeling. a few twists and turns I didn’t expect.
I loved most of the characters some a hated. There is a message in this book and how much someone words can hear another person #lovenothate.
In parts of the book, I felt like she was talking to me and I suppose others will feel that way too it could happen to anyone of us. Bullying is not acceptable it is wrong.
The story is great and if you read one this year let it be this one it is a truly powerful story and it sure needs everyone to read.
Thank you, K for sharing Rome, Raven, Courtney story and they will forever have a place in my heart and I am sure they will be with me for a long time to come.

“Some hurts never go away. Some hurts are living, breathing scars. Some hurts bleed on and on and on.”
This is a beautifully intense story that will pull on your heartstrings. I don’t think you will be able to read it without a few tears leaking out, even if you have a black heart like mine. K. Webster definitely has a lot of books that I love dearly but this is now one of my favorites by her.
We are introduced to Raven and Rome, who are twins, and Courtney.
To the naked eye Raven is hopeful, pleasant and always smiling. Rome is anger, irritation and forever scowling. Where Raven is sweet and pure, Rome is hard and flawed.
Courtney is a gorgeous cheerleader who has a warm heart and strong head on her shoulders, however she doesn’t find them until it’s too late.
“I was her someone. Too bad I was the worst someone she could find.”
The story takes a horrible turn so devastating I was shocked and at loss for words. There is never a dull moment and flow of the book was phenomenal. Just when I thought I had everything figured out another twist is thrown into the mix.
“Your tears belong to me. Every single last salty one of them.”
My hate for one particular character is very real. I hated them from the beginning and my feelings only grew stronger as the story unfolded.
I cannot express my feelings and love for this book enough. It was an absolutely beautiful journey to go on and I will without a doubt be reading it again.
After finishing this amazing story please take time to read the Dear Reader note at the end. It also made me tear up a little and made my love for K. Webster that much stronger.
“Do you ever feel like fate pushes two people together on purpose? Like it knows one isn’t as strong as the other?”
Get the the tissues ready! Maybe have a drink or two!
Heart wrenching, tragic, and emotional story of high school classmates and the consequences of engaging in cyber bullying.
When a prank goes horribly bad, life altering changes happen that bring unexpected results.
The writing was raw, gritty and explosive. The characters were flawed, yet perfectly developed and complimented each other perfectly.
The story of Raven, Rome and Cortney unfolded naturally and with so much emotion, I felt every single one of them in every page!
When a secret discovery is made, there’s another level of intensity added to the story that I never saw coming!
WOW!
Whitney was the perfect villain and her character was so hateful, what happened to her was a fraction of what she deserved!
A haunting and beautiful story of the consequences of bullying, missed opportunities, grief, and forgiveness.
More importantly… recovery!
A must read!!
4.5 Stars
This is another fantastic book from K. Webster! I don’t know where she keeps her treasure chest that is full of book ideas but dang…it’s got to be overflowing! One thing you can bank on with reading a K. Webster book, it’s always something new and different.
This story is no exception. We dive into a story of Raven and Rome Murray, twins who after losing their mother, live in an abusive home. One where their father drinks too much and becomes a mean drunk. Rome takes the physical abuse and Raven smiles like her mother to lessen the outcome. Putting on the ‘smile’ that her father likes to see.
Outside of the home, they are the weird ones. Outcasts at school. Called names, made fun of, everyone’s scape goat to jokes of the day. It’s one day that the joke is taken a bit too far, that changes everyone’s life. All parties involved in this cyber bullying are at fault. One who takes the leap. One who takes the punishment. One who suffers. One who goes on in life like nothing ever happened.
It truly makes you stop and think about what you do, what you say, how you present your thoughts. It might sound like a good plan going in…but until you’ve walked in the person’s shoes that you are talking about, you will never know how deep the cut hurts. Sometimes it’s best to just keep your thoughts to yourself, rather than chastise the one you are bullying. The outcome is never how you see it in your own eyes.
Thank you K. Webster for opening my eyes wider to this horrible thing that has become an everyday action to so many…Cyber Bullying.
