Clean Break is the third book in the three-book A Little Like Destiny series by bestselling contemporary romance author Lisa Suzanne.
This three-book series must be read in order:
A Little Like Destiny
Only Ever You
Clean Break
more
Wow, wow, wow!
This series could not have ended any better, that is all!
Wow…..what a perfect conclusion to a fantastic series. I am so happy with how things turned out, as I always knew Reese’s destiny was for something more than comfortable. She needed the fire and the passion that only one brother could give her, and she got that in the end. Yes, one brother definitely helped to push her in that direction, but I think she would have always found her way to the right one in the end.
Thank you Lisa Suzanne for such a wonderful series – all of these characters are truly something special. I fell in love with Reese, Mark, and even Brian (…well, not as much as the first two) and am sad to see this series come to an end. Novella, maybe??
Whenever I would read this series, It made me so happy & so giddy! Best feeling ever! From the very first book, I was hooked & completely consumed to the point I couldn’t put it down! This series is my happy place & warms my heart! Clean Break is definitely my favorite book in the series! So many emotions & all the feels throughout this book & series! Mark Ashton tops all other book boyfriends! I have never been so consumed with a book or series, like I have with this! I’m sad it’s over, but I am hoping for more with these amazing characters! The ending was perfect & this series will forever be in my heart! This is my absolute favorite series of 2017! Once again, Lisa has sucked me into these amazing worlds she has created & made me fall in love with her characters, their world, her words, & fall in love with a new book boyfriend! #CleanBreak #MarkAshton #ALittleLikeDestinySeries #OnlyEverYou #UlitmateFangirlDream #VAIL

If you love a good love triangle with a gorgeous, sexy & sweet rockstar, A teacher, & a sexy businessman who happens to be the rockstar’s brother, Then pick this series up! I will forever be a #VailTailFangirl! I have fallen in love with Mark Ashton & hope to one day meet someone as wonderful, sweet, caring & loving as him (A girl can dream)! Reese has definitely lived the ultimate fangirl dream!
5 WONDERFUL stars! This is the epic conclusion for Reese, Mark and Brian’s story. I can’t imagine a greater bookish pleasure!
Sweet sweetness! This book left my with a BIG book hangover. It was everything and more. Clean Break is pure PERFECTION. Lisa Suzanne has delivered an epic masterpiece! I can’t imagine a greater bookish pleasure. It is painfully beautiful, powerful, angsty, deeply compelling.
The plot is addictive. It was a pleasure to see the evolution of the characters through all the three books of the series. This is so far my favourite book in the series. It left me a sweet taste which I want to keep forever. I cried, I laughed, I hated and I loved. Reading this book was a raw roll coaster of emotions. Every page took me into an emotionally journey.
Clean Break is the final instalment of the A Little Like Destiny Series. Each good series has to come to an end. Lisa Suzanne has given us one of the best series of 2017. She never disappoints her readers. You can feel her soul through her writing. She gifts us a piece of herself on each book she writes.
It’s hard to say goodbye to the wonderful characters she created. Reese, Mark and Brian will always have a special place in my heart. Their triangle love was intense and bittersweet.
“You don’t want to be with someone like me, and I don’t deserve to be with someone like you.”
Since I read the second book of the series I proclaimed myself a Team Mark because I suspected that Brian was hiding something (you will discover it). I could feel Reese’s pain in my skin. She was trapped between two brothers. Deep inside her she knew that her heart loves only one but her hesitancy caused her heartache. She though she needed a Clean Break only to discover she was wrong.
“I may not be a regular guy. Our relationship may never be ordinary. But I’ve never know what normal was until you showed m. That’s what you are for me.”
While reading this book I wanted to hug Mark. His life has been focused on being a rock star. Vail is his life. He didn’t know he was missing something until he meets Reese. She changed radically his life. It was a painful torture to see her with his brother. Mark has a beautiful soul because his beloved ones are always in first place no matter if his brother is an asshole.
“I want you naked in my bedroom… I want to show you what you mean to me, and I want to do it this time knowing it’s not to say goodbye.”
Brian is another story. He is the opposite of Mark. He is selfish. I hate him. Envy rots his soul (I wonder if he has a soul after all). He represents stability to Reese but for me he is a butthead.
Things will be cleared out. Real love triumphs after all.
“I never knew I could love someone this hard, this much, this strongly.”
I really enjoy the possessiveness in Mark. He is the rock star every woman dream of. His charm is his flirty smile and talent. He is a wet dream in flesh.
“You allowed me the clean break I didn’t know I needed, and now I can look toward the future with you we both deserve.”
A Little Like Destiny captivated me, Only Ever You broke my heart and Clean Brake put the pieces of my heart back together.

So I start reading this book and I want to yell “stop acting like a damn airhead doormat!”
To say Reese is dumb as two planks is a gross understatement. If she doesn’t grow a backbone soon I’m throwing my Kindle across the room and I hope it doesn’t kill the dog! This book just depressed the hell out of me. I was literally having chest pain, I wanted to cry right along with Reese and I wanted to punch Brian in the nose.
So I’ve suffered enough and I’ve finally started seeing light at the end of the tunnel. This story just got better and better and I’m not going to sleep tonight until I finish this book. The happy ending is fabulous and I really love both Mark and Brian, I’m kind of sappy like that. I highly recommend this book and I give this book and series five starts.
I love this series . I have read them all the way through 3 x
The wait was worth it
Well, I read this 3 book series in less than 2 days which should tell you something- I really loved them, even with my racing pulse and the nail biting angstiness! Lisa Suzanne is someone whose books I hadn’t discovered until 2019 (how did she escape my notice til then???) and now she’s become a go to, gotta binge kind of author for me.
Rockstars, triangles, heartbreak and healing. Yes, I found the ending I was hoping for between these pages…finally! Wow what a wringer this series put me through but I happily let myself be wrung! Now I have the pleasure of a some bonus scenes to look forward to, so I can keep my H and h for just a little bit longer.
There are a few supporting characters whose stories may have started here but I’ll need to binge a few more books to see what happens with them…looking forward to it and just maybe, I’ll get more of this couple that ‘destiny’ finally allowed to have their happy ending.
I don’t think I can ever take a “Clean Break” from Lisa Suzanne. Her writing has captivated me. Every book I read of hers, I fall deeper into her words.
Cheating (in books) haters be damned. The beauty of a well written love triangle is not knowing who’s corner you are in. In my heart I knew what outcome I wanted, but I would be lying if I said I didn’t second guess my choice a few times.
This was the perfect ending to a perfect series!
“Only Ever You.”
This book, what can I really say that I haven’t said before? Nothing really when you think about it. I do know if you’re looking for a book to give you a book hangover of all book hangovers this story is for you. I was so hooked into this story from book 1 that by 3 I wasn’t remotely done with it and wanted more. Once the end came I knew in my heart that I would be crushed that it came so fast. Mark what more can I say about this Man, rock star god and a sweet and caring guy get’s way over his head in the world and things don’t go the way they should. Love will never be the same for him or will it. Reese this chick I love to hate her and hate to love her. The roller coaster ride of mixed emotions that she had me on this whole time left my head spinning right along with the words on the pages. She was strong on every turn all but a few times you could see the battle she was playing with herself. Loving is hard and she loves hard, one of the things I like about her she spoke her mind in this story, didn’t let things get her down for long. Brian I don’t like him enough said. This story is one you don’t want to miss out on and one that you want to read over and over again. The way the words just jump out at you, makes you sit on the edge for every page that is turned. A lean Break is not what you’ll get in this story your emotions will be high, your face will be flushed, and you might even cry a times but in the end it will so be worth it. Amazing story from start to end.
