The author did another amazing job with this one. Picks up where Chosen left off immediately in suspense.
A lot of twists which make this triller even more intriguing. Everything I thought I figured out I was thrown for a loop. I couldn’t put this book down it was so good.
If you like action packed suspense, romance, and piecing together …
The second book in the series. Emma and Will are on the run from both groups that want Emma and her son Jake. Still hasn’t got him back. Emma finally meets her father, and jakes father. This series is going in a different direction the I originally thought. But still great. Can’t wait to find out what happens after that ending.
I loved this book! It was a roller coaster ride that kept me intrigue. I kept turning the page wanting to know more. New characters are introduced. Strengths and weakness are starting to make its appearance with the characters. Emma and Will’s relationship begins to grow.
Wow! I say it about every book Denise Grover Swank writes, but wow. This was the second book in the Chosen series, which is listed as “Adult Urban Fantasy”. Not my normal genre, but this author has me crossing the lines.
I love the depth that DGS continues to give these characters in the second installation. Book one I mentioned falling in love …
Hunted – the second book in the Chosen series was fantastic! I love the ex-marine turned bad-boy Will and though at times it was a little silly how much this “spell” or “curse” forced him to protect Emma I still fell for it. I love the way Will thinks, takes action, and supports Emma. In this book, Emma begins to see glimpses of her super-natural …
In the second book of this series, Emma searches for her son while beginning to realize the kind of powers she possesses. Emma and Will have escaped from a secret political organization called the Vinco Potentia for the time being. Will encourages her to use her new found powers and practice her skills often incase they have another encounter with …
Denise Grover Swank takes this Chosen series to the next level with Hunted. Edge of your seat the entire way throughout the book, you don’t know what’s going to happen next! Those are my favorite parts of her books! There are things that need to be clarified, and I’m sure the next book will do just that. Emma and Jake! How their powers are …
Emma finally gets answers in this book, though not the ones she was looking for. Emma’s journey to finding Jake seems to be one step forward, two steps back. Will eventually recruits the help of his lifelong friend, James. James and Emma have a rocky start and Emma’s not sure she can trust him, especially after he sees her using her new found …
WOW! I loved the first book and didn’t think this one could get any better but it surpassed my expectations. I definitely liked Jake more in this book than I did the last. Definitely read this book but start with the first one!
The Hunted was an excellent second addition to the Chosen series. I was not disappointed with the action, suspense, and mystery. The ending left me excited then heartbroken and ready for more. Emma and Will are fantastic characters. They both have depth and emotion. They make bad decisions and have trust issues which make them more realistic.
The …
Short review. Action packed second installment. I really struggle with this book not because it wasn’t good but because of some of things that went down that had me nearly not finishing book nor the series. I think that love triangle between Will, Emma and Raphael did more harm than good to Emma’s character. Not only does it weaken her character …
