Never read so late you forget to review first book in series.
Despite the title suggesting troubles. This book is full of beautiful new beginnings. Each issue that could arise smoothly brushed away. More communities being built around kindness could benefit from this.
With the loss of Natalie’s Grandfather, the rock in her life, she has chosen to reconsider her life options Natalie decided she wanted a tiny house that also could be used as a mobile coffee shop. In doing her research she ran across a company that she thought would be a perfect fit for her. The owner of the company catches her eye before even meeting him. Natalie decided to go to Ashwood where the company was located. Inheriting Trouble is their love story. The ups and downs and the mess of it all . I would recommend this book absolutely
this was the first book in this series and i really liked it! it was just to long to get the whole point across. she wanted to do something different with her life. so she decides to have a tiny home built by one hot guy. you must read to find out what happens.
For Natalie Journey safety and sensible is what her life has been all about. Every decision made in her life up to this point has been dull and boring. She’s living her life working at a coffee shop in her grandfather’s retirement community.
However, when tragedy strikes decisions must be made and unfortunately for Natalie there isn’t a safe and easy decision. Now that decisions don’t have to just be made based on surviving and losing her safety net in her grandfather, Natalie has decided to do something different, exciting, and unexpected.
Seth Michaels has made a living constructing tiny homes and food trucks. His newest client has given him a new kind of challenge by combining a tiny house with a coffee shop for her to travel around. Although it may seem like he has his life together, his private life isn’t so put together. He has an ex who comes around when she has a need to be scratched and Seth refuses to put himself out there again to have his heart broken.
But life has a funny way of showing these two that the things they think they need in life isn’t always what is right.
This was a cute read. My only complaint with the book is a bit of missing details (or maybe I just missed them) and a few inconsistencies when describing characters. Like what was it that Seth’s ex had on him that would embarrass him? Is it she slept around? I mean for me that would be something that would seem to be more embarrassing for her because she apparently can’t keep her legs closed.
Natalie comes to the small town of Ashwood after her Grandfather passes away. She chooses to build a tiny house to help her start an adventure of traveling and living life on her own.
Seth is the man she meets in Ashwood who helps design and build her tony house and brings it to life for Natalie. Along the way their feelings become stronger and stronger, both physically and emotionally. These two sizzle when they are together and you can feel the passion between them on the pages.
Friends and other family members included in the story add fun dialogue and strength to the storyline.
Great read! The relationship between Natalie and Seth was very well written and the storyline flowed from start to finish. One of the things that stuck out to me the most was the fact that Seth, while HIGHLY interested in Natalie, both emotionally and sexually, he wasn’t an arrogant jerk about any of it. He also didn’t make Natalie feel like she had to change her life plans to accommodate his feelings for her. He gives her the support she needs and the room to make decisions based on how she feels and what she wants. Which, to me, shows a strong male character. I wish more men were like this in real life!
Highly enjoyed this one and recommend it!

Natalie and Seth connects like they belong together. Their characters have deep feelings for each other that can be felt on the pages. The flow of their romance makes sense. It is intense yet not hurried. The sex scenes are steamy and conveys emotion. The plot is smooth. The description of the settings are never boring because it is not prolonged; it is enough to help the reader imagine the places. It is a well-written romance story. I think I have a new author to follow! [I received an advanced copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.]

I was so excited that I could do a review on Inheriting Trouble but when I started writing it, I just couldn’t write how I felt while reading it. It’s about loosing someone special, trying to find what you want in life, and what happens when you think you might have found it. Natalie is wonderful, caring, and loving young women , in love with photography, she sees beauty all around her. But when her grandfather dies, she needs to find a way to deal with it all. She has an idea what she wants and heads to Ashwood to find it but that’s not all she finds. Seth has had to his own issues about loss of another kind and doesn’t want to get to close to anyone. He doesn’t want that kind of pain again. But they are brought together and they both feel something immediately. I found myself crying at times, and laughing at others. I was drawn into the story from the very beginning , hoping for someway for them to get together but I had no idea how it would turn out. Lessons of love and loss , hope and disappointment are learned by all. Book two is on my list next and I can hardly wait to start reading it. This is a keeper book, always on my kindle to re-read time and time again.
I loved this story and couldnt put it down once I started it. It’s very smooth and easy to read with very vivid details and amazing characters. She is a city girl and he’s a small town boy but that doesn’t stop the sparks from flying between them. I recommend this book wholeheartedly.
