IT was wordy and had very little plot . It was definitely a jumble of characters most of whom were not important to the story. Not worth your time to read.
The plot never really got off the ground and then the book was abruptly at an end. There were a few times what seemed to be a sub plot would begin then also abruptly be over before it went anywhere. What could have been and interesting read left me wanting more, but not in a good way.
Poorly written, characters not well developed.
Was it written by a millennial?
Many not believable circumstances.
This was a great book right up to the end. Unfortunately the ending seemed rushed. I would have liked to read more.
Forced myself to finish. I hate to be critical but felt like young persons first attempt at writing.
Things were wrapped up well. Too many details missed!
I love cozy mysteries but I did not enjoy this book. It is more geared to younger readers and I found it to be loaded with the silliness of the teen girls and the stupid way they reacted to the situation. I almost didn’t finish it but I don’t feel that is right. I would not recommend this to mature adults.
It is a light read about kids on a beachisland. Gets a little much towards the end with violence
I did not like this book. Too much teenage angst. Would not recommend. I found it very boring. Probably should be a teen novel.
grammar is poor (constantly using “that” for people, instead of “who,” no reason to like any of the characters, might be more interested if I were a 12-year-old.
This book is a young adults book and it’s written in 3rd party which I find annoying so in all fairness I have to say I didn’t completely read it.
Dialogue was lame. Characters not well developed.
Just ok
