At the celebration of her best friend’s wedding, Claudia Steven’s is trying to sort out her tumultuous emotions, regarding the groom’s best man and brother, Jaden Alexander Rose. What started as a platonic relationship, has turned into a battle of wills whenever they find themselves together. Their heated exchanges have risen to the surface, and desire spills over on contact. However, Claudia … Claudia fears she is not enough to be on the arm of a prestigious benefactor like Jaden. And Claudia is sure that’s why he’s friend-zoned her.
Multimillionaire investment banker, Jaden Alexander Rose is here today and gone tomorrow. Business is his priority, which is why he has kept the passion that grows for Claudia at arm’s length. But the bachelor cannot seem to fight off the dynamic hold Claudia has on him, ever since meeting her six months ago at a charity event. Now at his brother’s wedding, Jaden crosses that platonic line, and he has every intention of showing Claudia she’s all he needs and more.
The Falling for a Rose series follows each member of the Rose family as they explore this thing called love. However, each book is just as enjoyable if read as a standalone as it is if read in the series order.

STORY
I like Enough, but it fell also in the it was ok bin. I am still invested in the series as you get to know characters and upcoming characters for the next book.
Claudia doubted herself a lot, and it’s ok with her past. That’s understandable. In some ways, she is relatable. Jaden was sexy, he gave me seductive in his own way. I really didn’t understand him holding back. Also, when they made it official, I didn’t understand the not really communicating on his end. He did all that fighting to get Claudia just to not communicate.
I love Claudia’s and Jaden’s proposal scene. However, I felt the end was abrupt, and I wanted an epilogue. Nonetheless, they still made a cute couple.
SEXUAL CHEMISTRY:
I felt cheated with their first sexual experience. I wanted to know what went down on the island. I felt as the book progress, their sex scenes became a little more spicer.
SECONDARY CHARACTERS
I love Claudia’s mother. Her sister, she did not pass the vibe check for me in the beginning, but looking forward to her story. Of course, Jaden’s brothers, still don’t get to see all but liked gettin a glimpse of the next brother in line story.
OVERALL
It’s cute and likable, but it also just felt ok for me as well.
TRIGGERS:
****I don’t equate these stories to real life. It’s about personal taste and what you would or want to tolerate with the books you read. I know we all have different opinions and preferences with what we read. I based my book reviews on my preferences and what I like, and while these preferences may not be the same for others, I hope this review was still helpful.
I enjoyed the first book in the, “Falling for a Rose” series “Safe With Me”. I did not think that I would be more entertained. Well this author has captured my reading attention. I laughed out loud at “Adeline” when she was in the hospital recovering. The theme “good enough” was managed very well. Instead of the next book that I had planned to read, I’m reading, “Only if You Dare”.
This book had a few good moments, but overall was just OK.
I liked Jaden. The repeated “cherie” he was given to using was a bit much. He seemed like a pretty genuine guy. He didn’t have the same issues as Claudia, although he experienced his own trauma.
I liked Claudia. She was independent, successful, and intelligent. Her lack of self esteem was really irritating. She behaved in a wishy washy manner and ran hot and cold with Jaden. I would think if her self esteem was that low, staying away from Jaden would not have been that hard. She was cool when she was with her girls. Otherwise, some counseling would have helped.
Then we have the situation with Cassie. What was up with that? It didn’t play out like I would have thought. That seemed to be building momentum, and the fizzled out completely.
Next, what did I miss with Claudia and Desiree? I understand the reason for the Tiffin their relationship, but the resolution threw me off a bit.
I guess I felt like a number of situations were introduced, started down a path, and then fell flat.
So far, I thought the first book was better. But I do have an appreciation for the setting being in my hometown. This book was full of romance, sexy scenes, and did have an HEA.
On to book 3.
Firstly, I received a free copy of this book for an honest review. These are my opinions and it’s ok if you don’t agree with my review of this book.
We first meet both the heroine and hero from the first book. Claudia is the best friend and business partner of the heroine from the first book. This is how she happens to meet Jaden, who is the brother of the hero from the first book. Claudia is a hardworking, intelligent, successful and beautiful woman who we learn, grew up on the “wrong” side of the tracks. She has made some mistake while growing up and those mistakes have made her feel as though she will never be good enough in life, and especially for someone like Jaden. Jaden is a smart and driven man who works hard to grow the family business who happens to see Claudia for all that she is worth. We learn that an incident from his past has also affected him severely a a youth but luckily, with the love and support of his family, he was able become the man he is.
For some reason, even though this book and the first one are pretty much the same length, I got through this book way faster. It almost felt a lot shorter, LOL. I like that both of these characters are so relatable. I am glad that Jaden didn’t give up on Claudia even when she kept giving him a way out. He knew she was “the one” and continued to fight for her.
The one issue that I had in this book didn’t even have anything to do with the main characters. It was the fact that the heroine from the first book was introduced in this book by her ex’s name. I would like to think she would have changed her name to ROSE instead of keeping her lying and cheating ex’s last name after she remarried. This is just me though. Randomness, LOL.
Anyways, I really did enjoy this second book in the series. If you haven’t read the first book yet, I hope you do go back and read it. I look forward to reading more from this author and this series.
