Deuce:The first moment I stared into Ally’s tortured blue eyes, my subconscious knew I’d never escape her. She called to the darkest part of my soul and made it impossible to ignore the strange pull I felt towards her. Some things are just meant to be.As long as we were both breathing, my heart would do time with hers. Like the famous outlaw lovers, Bonnie and Clyde, Ally and I committed the … committed the perfect crime. I claimed her heart, and she stole mine.
I only meant to save her.
To heal her.
Now, my past threatens to ruin her.
Wanted dead or alive, I’ve got her by my side and together we’ll ride.
Ally:
I thought the world forgot me.
That I had died at fourteen.
But, I never knew life until I knew him.
Rescued and healed, I found love in the face of an outlaw.
Whether he fails or flies, I’ll ride until I die.
I’m his Bonnie and he’s my Clyde.
A love as strong as ours will never die.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
Roamer is the third book in Janine Infante Bosco’s Nomad Series. I will warn you that some subject matter in this book may be triggers for some people. I imagine you could read it as a standalone but some of the characters in the book have carried on from the beginning of this series. You do not want to miss Drifter and Wanderer at all so if you haven’t read them buckle up and enjoy the ride.
Deuce knew the first moment he started into Ally’s tortured blue eyes he would never escape her. Ally called to the darkest parts of his soul and made the pull he felt toward her hard to ignore. Somethings however, are just meant to be. Like the famous lovers, Bonnie and Clyde Deuce and Ally committed the perfect crime. Deuce claimed Ally’s heart and Ally stole his. Deuce only meant to save her. Heal her. Now his past threatens to ruin her. Wanted dead or alive, Deuce has Ally by his side and together we will ride.
Ally thought the world had forgotten about her. At fourteen she vanished. Everyone thought she had died. However Ally is very much alive in her own living hell not created by her. She never knew how to live until she met Deuce. Now rescued and healed, Ally has found love in the face of an outlaw. She is with Deuce till the end, ride until they die. She is his Bonnie and he is her Clyde. A love as strong as theirs will never die.
I finished this book hours ago and I am still all over the place. You have Drifted into chaos, then you were a Wanderer though it and now your going to Roam in so much chaos you will never see parts of it coming. To say I loved this book is a understatement. I make it no secret that I love Janine Infante Bosco and her books. She has written some of the most amazing books I have read to date. And I read a lot. She’s my favorite. Roamer however is not just a book you read it is a book you experience. I knew this book would be one that would tear at my soul. I could just tell in the previous books that Deuce was either a man who would have you cracking up laughing or was so intense he would take your breathe away. If you have read the other books you know that Cobra has a sister who was kidnapped at fourteen and he has spent his entire life looking for his sister Alexandria or Ally as she is known in the world she has been living in. Once again all the Satan’s Knights are together and still in some cases trying to get whole. However the enemies never wait and it’s not long before Deuce finds himself volunteering to go undercover into another club in the search for some very valuable information. However there is a girl in Albany with haunted eyes and Deuce is instantly drawn to her. He needs to save her. Fast forward because I’m not going to tell you what happens but Deuce is assigned to take care of Ally. Thus begins a journey of healing and falling in love. Ally has got to be one of the strongest female characters ever written. I fell so in love with her and many was the time I just wanted to wrap her in my arms myself and tell her everything was going to be ok. Deuce is just a alpha and charming as ever and they are perfect for each other. His Bonnie to her Clyde.
For me this was a beautiful love story of faith, healing, family and following your heart. Who is to say what is wrong and what is right but fate stepped in and handed Ally to Decue and they make magic together. Decue will charm the pants off you just like he does Ally and he will break your heart right along with Ally more times than I can count. I cried in the oddest places and found beauty in the chaos. They all are property of Parrish but there is just no way your going to leave this book not being property of Parrish yourself. If these people were real there is no doubt in my mind that I could break bread with them and love them just as deeply as I love any of my friends. Janine Infante Bosco has tackled a dark and gritty world and subject matter and in my heart I kept thinking about the people these things really happen to. Just go grab this book and dive in. Your so not going to regret it and when the going gets tough, and trust me it will, have faith in Janine Infante Bosco. Never doubt her writing skills or where she is going to take you. I have yet to leave one of her books without a piece of my heart belonging to that book. I look so forward to Linc’s story. I can not wait to take the journey with him.
Thank you Janine Infante Bosco for writing this story. For pouring your heart and soul into these pages. I as a reader could feel how much attention to Ally and Deuce you paid and that they mean something to you. Thank you for sharing your stories with me. I am truly honored and humbled to get to be one of the ones who review your book. Hallelujah!!!!!
Ally is the strongest character I’ve ever read, she made the decision to stand up, she chose herself this time, she didn’t do it alone, she also had Roamer/Deuce in her corner pushing, loving her. To me they’re the perfect Bonnie And Clyde, this is love, this is acceptance, if I could give this book more than 5 stars I would
Great Box Set!
Deuce was one of the best heroes I’ve read lately. Kidnapped at the age of 14, used as a sex slave, abused, given drugs that formed an addiction, feeling that her family abandoned her, Ally is rescued and is back in real life where she doesn’t know how to cope. Deuce is running from demons in his own past but he is the one who brings Ally back to reality. He’s the one that never demands, shows patience and gives her many of the “firsts” that she never experienced in real life. He gives her independence and is always there when she has the flashbacks and gives her the strength she needs to move forward in life. They were truly a modern day Bonnie and Clyde with a ride or die love.
I like all of the books in this series and the ones who are gifted to be “Parrish’s Property” are so lucky. (
Roamer is book three in the Nomad series and what a ride it is!! The story is so intense, emotional and well developed, that it pulled me in and kept me there until the very last page. The characters Duece and Ally were so damn good together. They were today’s Bonnie and Clyde, “We’ve got that ride or die love.” Loved seeing the Parrish MC guys. This is one of my favorite MC series, and I can’t wait to read Linc’s story next!
I have no words for this book, it took me on the most emotional roller coaster I have ever experienced. I never cried so much while reading a book. I felt like I was right there with Deuce & Ally. I loved the connection between them. Talk about a heart wrenching story. I am amazed at how strong she was and how quickly she bounced back. I think she is my favorite female you have ever written about. There was one part, which I will not divulge that I did not see coming at all. You will know it when you read it, I didn’t want to spoil it for anyone. I totally fell in love with Deuce, but still have a thing for Blackie & for now Cobra is still my #1. You have out done yourself again Janine. Patiently waiting to see what you have in store for my Linc.
Deuce and Ally’s story is one that pulls no punches. It is filled with heartache and tragedy, yet both characters have such a fighting spirit. As Ally emerges from her cocoon she shows how strong and sassy she is. The quiet strength that Deuce provides is for Ally is amazing, and the support from their MC family is fantastic!
“Fight to win. Fight to live, Fight for tomorrow.”
“Don’t be the girl waiting for the light at the end of the tunnel. Be the girl who strikes the match”
Deuce goes to find out if he can find out anything about the man who raped one of his brother’s women and, also kidnapped another brother’s sister years ago. When he was there he sees a woman that has sad and lonely eyes, but they also look familiar. Deuce knew that when he saw those blue eyes that they would never leave him, what he didn’t expect was to find out that it was Cobra’s sister who had been kidnapped years ago.
Ally doesn’t understand when she first gets taken to the house that they don’t want to hurt her, but, help her and she does want to smile again, but the withdrawal is making is hard. Ally realises that she wants to live again, and she lost a lot of first and Deuce tells her she can create new ones.
The chemistry is there between Deuce and Ally although both are being careful, remembering what Deuce told her, to strike a match. Although it’s painful for Ally to relive what she went through she is seeing that her life can be worth living again with the help and patience of Deuce she realises that she can. Ally and Deuce heal each other, and she becomes his Bonnie and him her Clyde.
“You told me to live for me, taught me to find what I want in life and encouraged me to follow my heart. I listened and it led me straight back here to you.” Ally
Yet another great read by this author.I have loved reading this series and I was wondering if Ally was going to get her own story.I am glad that we were able to see how Ally’s story has ended and if she was going to finally find her own happily ever after just as her brother has found his.
This really was such a heart wrenching story.Your heart bleeds for everything that poor girl has gone through in her life so far.Ally was taken as a child and was sold into sexual slavery and since then she has been forced to do unthinkable things.Ally has a twin brother named Cobra who belongs to a MC club who has never given up searching for her.As it happens it was his club that led to her rescue.Reunited after so many years apart where did one begin?
What I loved about this series and this story is that their is always so much drama constantly going on ,whether it was pertaining to the MC or its members personal lives their was never a dull moment and was quite entertaining.
I alway pick a favorite character in a story that I am currently reading and in this story I am going to choose Ally.Ally was a complicated character with so many layers and you can understand that with everything she has had to endure it was going to take time to get to know the real Ally and not the person she needed to become just to survive.
At this point Ally has been raped, tortured and been a sexual slave, bought and sold yet again and has become a drug addict in the process. With all these strikes against her the only thing we see is a survivor and a extremely strong willed person who survived the odds. She had just enough spark to keep going even when she wanted nothing more to end it all.I loved how she choose to take up Duece’s challenge to heal, survive and take her life back.I loved seeing Ally evolve as she healed we saw a glimpse of the person she was before her kidnapping .We saw a women with Spark and determination.I loved seeing her leave the darkness behind and entered the light.
Duece was put in charge of being responsible for Ally and is to see to her recovery and protection. We loved Duece yes he was a bada**,sexy and a smile that makes a girl panties wet but so much more.In this story we saw a softer side of him and also got a glimpse of his own pain and suffering. We saw patience and kindness in his dealings with Ally which seemed so out of character for him. But, we loved it!I loved how he challenges her as well as goads her at every turn it was cute as hell and made us laugh. Duece really was Ally savior. He was just what she needed in order heal and move forward. He gets her as he suffers with his own demons. These two needed healing and someone to love and care about them yet they found each other.
I loved that this was not your typical love story. This was not a loved at first sight kind of love even with that major chemistry that went on but a love that grew from friendship and healing which made it even more sweeter and a love that would stand the test of time.I loved the chemistry this couple had as it was almost explosive. There was teasing ,playfulness and dominance in their sexual interlude that lead to some hot as hell love making scenes. Two broken souls become one.
Another great great in this series.I loved the cast of characters as well as all the past MC members who graced this current tale yet again.A story filled with pain, suffering, love, revenge, healing and laying old ghosts to rest as well as finding the strength and determination to move forward.I loved how this couple found something they needed in each other to make them whole once again as well as heal their wounded souls. We loved it from beginning to end.
Looking forward to the next in this series perhaps we will get to here Pikes story.
A keeper!
5 stars from us Full review @angelswithattitudebookreviews
I didn’t think it was possible for a series to get better but then I read Roamer and it just proves it is indeed possible. There are not enough stars in the universe to rate how amazing this book is. You know you are going to be hooked by a story when you get to the end of the prologue and the tears are already following. Deuce and Ally’s story is a ride or die kind, one that will break you right down to the very core of your soul and then heal you with every bit of burning fire that these two possess. Their story had me captivated, gripped, addicted and every other word you can think of. These two made me ache for all that had been lost, they made me smile, they made me weep and they filled my heart with love. Janine Infante Bosco has outdone herself with the third book in The Nomad Series. Deuce and Ally are characters that will stay with you forever.
OMG!!! Janine has out done herself. She had me hooked by the end of the first chapter. I loved how Deuce and Ally just clicked. And Ally, she is by far the strongest women Janine has written
Janine Infante Bosco has once again created magic. She draws you into her books and the world of the Satan’s Knights that she has created from the first few lines of her “Dear Reader”. I love reading each of her books and get to see how she has grown as a writer from one book to the next. Roamer is a book that will make you have so many emotions you will not be able to put it down. She truly weaves reality into romance, this girl does her homework. I love an author who puts in the effort to be authentic.
Ally was abducted at the age of 14 right about when a young girl is growing into womanhood and learning slowly what she wants out of life. Having all sorts of firsts, first love, first kiss, first heartbreak. Ally never gets to experience any of that, all she gets is darkness, horror, and abuse at the hands of a monster in a clean-cut suit. Until one day her salvation comes to her rescue dress in leather.
Deuce is running from a club who wants him dead. He’s hiding with a club who thinks he can help save them from their enemies. Deuce never want to care about someone, never wanted responsibilities because they always seemed to get him in trouble. Ally is no exception. When she blows into his life she knocks him for a loop. He finds himself wanting to watch her come into her own and become the girl found instead of the girl lost.
Janine weaves a tale of abuse, heartache, and drug addiction but she also shows us the heart of a survivor. Ally starts off as a drug addicted club whore and ends up one of the strongest female characters I have ever read. She battles her way back from the edge with the help of her ride or die love. Deuce lets her learn how to be the woman she was meant to be and ultimately that woman is the woman who was made to love him.
They are a perfect couple and I loved every minute of their journey. As always Jack Parrish is a thrill to read he’s crazy and I love it. The rest of the Satan’s Knights make an appearance throughout this installment. Cobra is still my favorite Knight but Deuce is a close second. Who am I kidding I love them all!
Another great story from a stellar author. Highly recommend.
Wow! Deuce and Ally! Ally is so strong and Deuce is by her side, being her savior. What a wild ride this book was. Loved it Janine! Great job once again!
This story was a complete 180 from the others. Nothing about this story sucked at all. Ally and Deuce are this amazing couple that overcomes the unspeakable. They really are an amazing couple. Together they can fight fire or the whole world. The way this story unfolds was like magic, Janine really knows how to keep the reader turning the pages and not stop at all. The journey that all of them go on is worth it over and over again. Of course my favorite part of the story is when things started to go to crap for everyone involved and then suddenly it was all right again towards the end. Some parts of the story I had WTF moments more so then I liked, basically was how the hell is this happening and what the hell is Janine doing to me but once again I would turn the page and all my answers were fixed. By the end of the story like the last 2 chapters my mind was all over the place and tears down my face because of the unknown but once I reached the last chapter everything was great in fact it was prefect. I cant get over all the details and how the story was told, 2 person POV both male and female so many different emotions in each. This story is well worth the read over and over again. I Floved it. MUST READ!!!!
