This isn’t a “candy fluff” alien romance that leaves you feeling like you have lost iS points after you’ve read it. It has believable plot, relatable characters, and romance with steam. I enjoyed it very much. I received a free copy of this audio version for review.
A new standalone sci-fy novel by Maddie Taylor. If you are looking for a well written steamy sci-fy Menage story, then you don’t have to look any further. Maddie Taylor writes great big books with lots a details, which is something I love.
This story features Daniella, Jaylin and Malik. What I loved about this story is that the story itself has a lot of meat to it, there is good worldbuilding and a lot of action. I loved the banter between the characters. The characters were complex and layered, but not perfect. They all had their own demons and history to deal with, but together they were whole and helped each other heal.
Action packed and full of steamy scenes! I liked that we got to the romance quickly and got to thoroughly enjoy it throughout the entire book. Excellent narrator!
Another enthralling fantastic sci-fi/erotic romance from Maddie Taylor. I absolutely adored this book and couldn’t put it down!
Daniella Alltryp (Dani) is a 24-year-old woman who’s off on her first adventure. She’s finally free to see the universe. Her first stop is Elzor, where the entire planet is blue, the sky, clouds, and nearly everything else, including the people. She’s shocked to find herself the guest of the royal family, with Prince Ivar, heir to the throne, paying a significant amount of attention to her. She doesn’t understand any of this. Sure, her father is a rich, overbearing, billionaire. But he’s never paid her a bit of attention so why would these people care about her? She literally is and has nothing. She’s shy, clumsy, and so far out of her element here. She’s so creeped out by all the attention that she can’t wait to leave. But as she makes her way to the landing port to depart, she discovers things aren’t what they seem. She’s been tricked, and has no idea how to escape. Who can she turn to? She’s been so isolated for her entire life. She has no one to ask for help. She’s a true innocent. Then things turn catastrophic, and what she thought was bad is now truly horrific. Is there any way for her to escape? Who could even know what’s happened? And how could anyone possibly help her? She’s terrified, and it seems like there’s no way out!
Jaylin Sin-Naysir and his twin, Malik, are from Trilor, a very unique world with its own very special customs. Both men have been mercenaries for years. Since Jaylin was born first, he’s the dominant twin and captain of the Renegade, their ship, with Malik being his second. Due to a run in with Dani’s father, Daniel, who holds all the cards on Earth due to his wealth and influence, Jay and Malik have had their ship confiscated, owe hundreds of thousands of dollars, and aren’t likely to be leaving Earth anytime soon. But fate steps in, and suddenly there’s a chance for Jay and Malik to own the Renegade free and clear again and leave Earth behind once and for all. But, of course, there’s a catch. Daniel Alltryp has a job for them. Jay despises the man. Alltryp is everything that Jay and Malik detest: greedy, tyrannical, ruthless, and corrupt. But he holds their ship and their freedom in his hands. They have no choice but to accept the job. Can they manage to meet the timetable set for the mission? They’re good, the best mercenaries around. But are they really that good? They have mere days before they could lose the Renegade forever. What can they do? Do they truly have the skills needed to pull this off? Or will they end up losing everything? And how does any of this relate to or help Dani, who’s in a literal fight for her life?
Maddie Taylor is an unbelievable storyteller, and I love every single one of her books. She’s another of my favorite authors. The Renegades’ Reward is a sci-fi/erotic romance that is (excuse the pun) “out of this world.” I loved this book, and couldn’t put it down. I was riveted from the moment I started reading, and it’s every bit as amazing as her other books. I give The Renegades’ Reward my highest recommendation without reservation. Thank you, Maddie, for giving us such an wonderful book that demonstrates just how impressive you are as an author and your exceptional writing talent!
One final note. Please be an informed reader and consumer! This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and sexual scenes.
