Great read!
A strong mother protecting her teenage high functioning autistic child from real dangers. Yet she could not funtion fully while he was growing up. Realistic self-doubts and withdrawals from life as the main character learns who she really is, who her son is, and how to really live life. Good twists and turns throughout to keep you reading until the end.
It kept me guessing. I can usually guess the ending way before I finish reading the book.
I couldn’t put it diwn
Reading a book in which a character with ASD is sympathetically shown in his unique interactions with the world around him was a great way to observe Autism Awareness month. Putting that character in a situation in which his literal interpretation of what is happening around him puts him in jeopardy was a unique plot which reminds all of us that we need to work on our understanding of people who face
Challenges in life.
I really liked it, kept you on the edge of your seat. Didn’t see the end coming!
Kept my interest to the end.
I didn’t care for this book – barely made it through it. I thought the plot was silly and predictable. The “protagonist” made terrible irresponsible and immature decisions and I couldn’t warm up to the characters.
This book had new story lines that are timely and this made the characters seem more real.
