However, before Kristin allows herself to dream, Rick must prove he’s a man she and her daughter can trust. Can they count on him forever?

A good story about how a little girl was attacked and was so traumatized that she could no longer talk. I had never read a book just like this and the way they got her to speak again was so very interesting. I think most people would love to read this story and find out how they did it.
This book is FANTASTIC! Couldn’t put it down! Have read the old series.
Good read!! I recommend
I liked the idea that the author choose to add the hero as the rescue dog and very heart wretching to see that the child finally did heal.
Powerful realistic life event and the ways to overcome a tragic life event. Deep and interesting characters.
enjoyed it, very good read.
Sweet story
very sweet story; lovely characters; I like the way the relationships develop without necessarily chronicling every day…it’s easy to understand how things evolve across time without necessarily documenting every step in the journey; compelling characters
This book is about a raped child, and her determined to help her mother. Great story about strength and love. While the Mom is helping her daughter move forward from what happened to her, the mom finds love with a cop with issues of his own.
I enjoyed it – except I will never understand why people fall into bed when they have just met. I find it totally unnecessary and don’t care to be privy to others’ bedrooms. I would have given this book a 5 – otherwise.
This story is intense but simplistic. The subject matter is a difficult one. While Ashley’s recovery seemed to fall too easily into place, she is only 11 and therefore likely to recover more quickly than an adult. Some scenes are a little over the top in reality, but they seem to work within this story. You can easily read this one is a day or long afternoon.
