AMAZON # 1 BESTSELLER IN HUMOR AND COZY MYSTERIES When her dating service turns deadly, Laurel must race to find the killer before she becomes the next victim. Unsure if she is looking for Mr. Right, or Mr. Every Other Saturday Night, Laurel McKay reluctantly joins THE LOVE CLUB, a popular local dating service. Dressed to kill, she meets bachelor number one at a trendy restaurant. But the date … trendy restaurant. But the date is a bust, literally, when the guy decides Laurel is dessert, and she breaks his nose with her cell phone. It gets even worse when the man is found murdered the next morning, and Laurel has his blood on her clothes.
Despite her now being a person of interest to the police, Laurel bravely ventures out on date number two. When that unlucky bachelor disappears during dinner, Laurel’s only alibi is a bottle of Dom Perignon. The sexy investigating detective thinks she’s innocent and is worried she may be the next target. That’s more than enough motivation for Laurel to find a murderer determined to kill her social life–before dating becomes a dead end she can’t escape.

“Packed with zany characters, humorous situations, and laugh-out-loud narrative. Consider reading this book in one setting, because once you start, you will be reluctant to put it aside.”
-Midwest Book Review
“Dying for a Date is one of those books, the type you stay up late – way too late – to finish. Combining murder mystery and humor is a difficult task and “Cindy Sample does it brilliantly.”

“Sharp intelligence and flippant wit, turmoil and anxiety, danger and deception…all blend into one smooth and tasty read. I hope this turns into a long running series.
-Once Upon a Romance Reviews“There are many good femalesleuth books out there and most are moderately amusing. This was head andshoulders above them. The lead character, Laurel McKay, is real, down to earth, and FUNNY! It hasn’t been since the Janet Evanovich’s Stephanie Plum series (theearly ones) that the humor has been so spontaneously ‘laugh out loud’enjoyable! You will feel that Laurel’s family and friends are yours. In addition to the humor the plot was thrilling and the whole story left younot wanting to the book down. Totally engaging and enjoyable!! A must read ifyou are a fan of female sleuths.”

I had this on my kindle for a looong time…and that’s exactly when I should have read it. A great mystery and lots of humour combined in this awesome story. Some laugh out loud situations and some very good chuckles. #2 in this series is already downloaded and I’ll start it right away.
