The dead just don’t seem to stay dead… grandmother’s murder, Wynn fled back to the safety of the real world and her life as it was before she met Angel Cordova and his team of terrorist hunters.
She soon discovers the reality she thought she was returning to is gone…or perhaps it never existed.
Former spec ops soldier Angel Cordova has no choice but to retrieve Wynn when he learns she’s being stalked by the enemy his team is fighting. It’s not entirely against her will that he brings her back to the team’s headquarters, but it is under duress. Keeping her safe means steamrolling the life of her dreams. Setting her free means handing her over to their enemies, all wrapped up in a sparkly bow.
It’s a choice no man should ever have to make about the woman he loves…one he knows she will not quietly accept.

What a great installment to the Red Team series. While it is not my ultimate favourite out of the Red Team series, I love the chemistry between Angel and Wynn, they fit each other perfectly. The story is full of suspense, romance and intrigue. Everything is slowly but surely being unraveled and I cannot wait to get all the answers and put all the puzzle pieces together. Now onto Owen’s story!
This is only one book in a series of 12. All 12 books were great. I couldn’t wait to find out what happens in the last book, but I didn’t want the series to end.
Connections. Connections. Connections.
Deadly Creed is the book that tied up the majority of the mysteries from previous books with jaw opening answers. Most of the gray pieces of the puzzle are perfectly coming along. The romance between Angel and Wynn is passionate and sweet, they are beautiful together. I can’t say much without giving away the bombshells that are going to shatter fellow readers but I was left with a sense of being prepared for the epic war in the next and last installment of the Red Team series. Bring it on!
PS: I love Ace and Val!
PS2: I love Zavi, Casey, Kit, Greer and Lion.
PS3: I love Owen.
have to read first books in series for this to make sense
Angel & Wynn have been tip toeing around their attraction for each other and now they cannot deny what is. After the murder of her Grandmother and the attempted kidnapping, Wynn has moved out of the house and back to Gram’s home. She’s trying to make the adjustment, grieve the loss of Gram’s, make necessary arrangements and trying to reconcile with herself over the guilt she feels missing Angel more than Gram’s. She is afraid to leave the house and go to the grocery store alone. Danger is back and real but luckily Angel shows up in the nick of time.
Angel let her go so that she could have the life that she wanted with peace. With him, he will always be a warrior, there always be a war to fight and she will never be able to come first. He loved her enough to let her go. Now the danger is back and he and the Red Team must keep her safe.
The suspense & mystery keep you wanting more plus the beautiful HEA. There were so many things going on, but it was very easy to understand and follow along. There is a Twist I never saw coming and a turn that just kept turning. The ending is a cliff hanger and I am so looking forward to Owen story.
I have stayed up night reading Levine novels. I just have to finish it hard to stop the story line just keep you wanting more. The characters and storyline flows from one novel to the next . you find it hard to know the next isn’t ready when you finish. Would recommend to other.
This is the 8th book in a series. I enjoy the suspense, the romance, and the story lines of the characters. Characters introduced in previous books remain in each new book. I am ready for the next one in the series.
