So enjoyed the Moore family!!
Blown Away-5 stars-Ian and Juliet’s story is sweet and spicy, love Ian
Carried Away-4 stars-James and Ellie, Ellie is one tough cookie and is the best thing for James who needed to grow up
Swept Away-5 stars-Harry and Willow, their story is so tender and sweet
Break Away-5 stars- This was my favorite read, absolutely loved Lilah and Cole
Purely Wicked-4 stars-Jackson and Ashley, highschool lovers who rekindled as adults
All the stories are sweet and special, you could actually read them separate or out of order, there is some cross over with the other characters from the other books but not much, these stories are more focused on the said couple and their future HEA.
Great boxset and lead in to the cousins here are my individual reviews of each book
Blown Away:
Nice easy read about a lady on the run and one of the sexy as h$$l Moore Brothers. Great characters and with an author whose style I enjoy. While I enjoy the chemistry between these two I would have enjoyed it more if they had held out longer before jumping into bed even insta-love needs some time. I do enjoy this author so even though I enjoy a little more in my reads I am enjoying the boxset and will continue on to the next brother in the set in Carried Away.
Carried away:
Well James wasn’t portrayed as the nicest guy and when he propositions Elle he can’t seem any worse. But as you get the back story on how James became who he is you kinda change your impression of him as he becomes more human and the sweet side comes out. They are the perfect pair and although I am not a fan quick to bed stories I did enjoy this the second book in the series better than the first.
While these stories are interlinked because duh they are family you can read the as a standalone book. This author writes a great love story and having the group makes it better.
Swept Away
Heat and passion these two have in spades. This is one I would have loved a longer story for just to get more into the character however I can’t be mad that the author stuck with what she does well and that’s a quick fast in your face story with no holds bared. It is a good read with characters that will appeal to some and to others not so much. However you feel this is enjoyable and fun and all Abby Brooks. On to the next book in the set.
Break Away
Oh I love this story of the pretty pretty princess learning what the real world is all about. Her brother’s are doing her a solid she is just being stubborn. Either way it goes life is getting ready to show up front and center and give some real life lessons. When the hunk of a neighbor turns out to be a good friend and helpful as well life on her own may not suck balls after all. Great story with less passion and more story so loads more to connect with between these two.
