I’m not interested. Not in dinner. Not in a movie. I don’t want a moonlit walk along the beach. Trust me when I say, there is nothing you could offer me that could possibly ever entice me to go on a date with you.The History Series is a Second Chance Romance series from International Bestselling author Hanleigh Bradley.Clara Delos decides to move back to London when she breaks up with her … London when she breaks up with her long-term boyfriend.
In her first few weeks back in the city, she gets accepted for an amazing position at one of the country’s largest advertising companies, but she quickly realises that it’s a little too good to be true. Waiting for her, sat back in her chair, feet on her desk, is one Andrew Contius.
Learning that she is going to have to work with her old school nemesis Andrew Contius, is definitely not good news. Growing up Andrew had daily teased and bullied Clara to the point of tears.
From the moment they reconnect the banter is back but this time there is a sexual undertone.
Can they be professional or will their history be too much to overcome?
The History Series is the second series in the Hanleigh’s London Saga.
The banter is quick witted, unprofessional and downright naughty as this pair try to find out if they have a future together despite their past.

Excellent series and wonderful characters. I love how the author has intertwined several series set in London. These are also excellent as audiobooks and for a quick easy enjoyable read. Definitely recommend.
This was excellent. It had a nice long build up of the romance. It was nicely fleshed out. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book in exchange for a free copy.
I just loved this book. It was so well-written that it captured my mind and I was dragged along for the ride. Once I started reading I could not put it down until I read the last page.

Overall: ***** Five Star rating
A Beautiful Piece of Work
The comment used for Kevin Bacon, the six degrees of closeness, certainly applies to this series. The players all seem to be enmeshed together: both the main male character’s family with the main female character’s family; and both sets of their friends, who are lovely, loyal, supportive and loving with wonderful camaraderie. Fabulous characterizations of a large ensemble cast. The characters were presented realistically: real, diverse, with some so likable characters. The stories were well written, unique, believable, original, thorough, intense A beautiful piece of work. A must read for all.
Part One: Repeating History – ***** Five Star rating
The dialogue is sharp, crisp and naughty (on the part of the main male character).
Part Two: Deleting History – ***** Five Star rating
The main female character does not want to have anything to do with learning about her family history. In this segment in the series, the main female character self-sacrifices in order to protect her closest friends and the main male character. She sabotages her love life to do so. The main male character is wrecked, as is she. Bring out the tissue box; I certainly did.
Part Three: Forging History – ***** Five Star rating
Together the main male and main female characters worked out their past history from high school. The main female character comes to terms with how her personality evolved as a result of the main male character’s treatment of her in school.
Novella: A History In Paris – ***** Five Star rating
The main female character learns of her parents’ history from her father. Her mother explains her feelings about her prior history to her two daughters. I think this is a two tissue box segment. I cried a lot in this part; not for the main female character’s mother, a bit her father and sobbed for the main female character and all her siblings, as they were the innocents in this story but they had no say in matters.
I voluntarily received an advance review copy of this four novel series via Booksprout and I am leaving an honest and unbiased review. I have no affiliation to this author.

The History Series includes Repeating History, Deleting History, Forging History & A History In Paris and is a great box set for a weekend read.
This enemies-to-lovers romance is well written and entertaining. Clara and Andrew are childhood friends who always seesawed back and forth between love and hate and now have to work together. What will win… love or hate?
I read and reviewed this book with no obligation.
Excellently written with great characters in an intense storyline. I’m not a big one for 2nd chances or bullying but I loved this story. Read from cover to cover in two days. An all around excellent read.

Repeating History
This story is very interesting and intense hate-to-love story. Clara have already difficult past and even more complicate family history, adding to it that she is to work with with the one boy that harassed her restlessly her whole school years. She want to hate him. And Andrew do exactly what he done to,her those years ago, trying to pick her attention, trying to get some reaction, trying to get what he stupidly lost in the past. Sparks are flying and the finish together, and they are perfect tpgether.. well.. until the cliffhanger .
Deleting History
This continuation was quite calm. Everyone getting acquittance with everyone. Life continue. There is much more family interactions and mending with friends. Also making out after a dispute. Interesting.
Forging History
This was sweet, however with some dread, story. Sweet continuation. With everything taking its place in one perfect picture. Even an intruder from the past with malicious idea in his head did nit destroy this picture, made us afraid a bit, but then made us as well gushing about the way Andrew treated Clara. Beautiful end of story.
A History in Paris
This story is definitely sad. Also quite unbelievable. But seems real still. It started so sweetly. And finished bitter. No happy ever after, but that’s real life ending after all. I appreciated it. I didn’t read others books in this series, but this companion book can be read separately.
