This boxed set contains the first three books in the Djinn Wars series:CHOSENWhen a fatal fever nearly wipes out the entire world’s population, the survivors of what became known as “the Dying” believe the worst is in the past. Little do they know… before. As fear and isolation envelop her, Jessica encounters the sensitive and helpful Jace, who she believes is another survivor. But Jace has a past and secrets of his own that’s he not ready to disclose. Soon Jessica realizes that the destruction of humanity might actually be the first step in a larger, more complicated plan — a plan that may very well involve her. Struggling to discover her role in a terrifying new world where everything has changed, she must decide who she can trust. But is the price for that trust just too high?
TAKEN
The choice is hers…
Live life alone, or risk everything for the djinn man she loves?
Jessica Monroe’s time is running out. A survivalist group is intent on eradicating Jace and all others of his kind, and it’s up to her to rescue him from the stronghold of the Immune. With the survivors developing a weapon that could quite easily tip the scales in the war between human and djinn, Jessica is determined to save the man she loves — even if means betraying what’s left of humanity.
FALLEN
Would you sacrifice it all for the man you love?
When a group of rogue djinn attacks Taos, Jessica Monroe has no choice but to activate the device that was created to rid the elementals of their supernatural powers, even though the machine’s very existence threatens to ruin the lives of her lover and friends. It’s up to Jessica to launch a desperate mission to retrieve the one person who can help: Miles Odekirk, the mastermind who created the device.
The threat of retaliation by the Los Alamos survivors is not the only danger Jessica must face. Enemies lurk around every corner, and when an ancient rival returns to carry out his own revenge, Jessica may have to make the ultimate sacrifice to save the man she loves, as well as the entire Taos community, human and djinn alike.

I read the first volume in this series as part of an anthology from BookBub, and really liked it. I’m lucked out and picked up the boxed set, and am looking forward to reading the rest of them.
I enjoyed this series and will probably read them again, down the line.
Though I don’t normally read stories about end of civilization, these 3 books, for the start of her series, were a good read. Liked the characters and her writing style. So now I’m reading even more of her books.
I didn’t want to put it down. Good story.
For a series, the books are structured well. A problem is solved, the basis for a new problem is presented. I enjoyed reading about djinn society. Lower error rate than most digital books I have read.
kind of captures many genres. It was an action packed slightly steam romantic with tragic touches here and there. Not to mention apocalytpic and fantasy mixed in.
More steamy romance than fantasy. Some might like that but it’s not my thing.
I liked it enough that I’m working my way through the rest of the series. Many books follow!
Not much in this book to set it apart from dozens of others.
Generally entertaining..I liked it and would like to read another.
Some might think that the terms scary and haunting don’t really apply to a set of fantasy books. But what I liked was the post plague survival of the different characters. The disposal of the bodies was unique but the scene of the stores looted and the missing transportation, along with the rather normal blend of good and evil in people was just that. Scary and haunting. Do any of us really think people would be nice, sharing and staying in the bounds of morality?
liked it a lot. I’d happily read more.
This was a very nice story with great characters. I really enjoyed it.
I do not like books that end with a cliff hanger. It is a cheap ploy to get people to buy more books. This would have been much better without that. Thankfully, I got the set.
Great story. Starts a little slow then pulls you right in. Keeps you interested and entertained and wanting more. Has a little of everything. I recommend this series for anyone who enjoys adventure, magic and love.
The books were good, but I felt it moved a little slow at first and focused on to much of the mundaine day to day stuff rather than the important parts of the story. I’ll still continue on with the series however as the characters are well developed and it is easy to read.
This series takes us to an end of the world as we know it scenario and throws in djinn and some politics, to boot. I read the first book, slightly confused, wondering when we get to the hea. So, it’s not really a typical paranormal romance in that it takes us 3 books to get to a “as happily ever after as we’re gonna get” ending. Compelling and good world building.
Only made it a little way through the trilogy. The beginning was awesome, and then…. not so much awesomeness.
I love it the whole series
