My name is Mercy James and I’ve always had a three-point plan. 1.Don’t fall in love in high-school.2.Get through senior year and snag a full-ride scholarship to college.3.Get the hell away from my irresponsible mother.I didn’t think that was too much to ask for, and I’ve worked damn hard to make it a reality. Until my mother went and did the unthinkable! She’s pregnant.Yep, the woman-child only … pregnant.
Yep, the woman-child only went and got herself knocked-up by a man who lives on the other side of the country.
As if it wasn’t bad enough to uproot my life six weeks before senior year, Mom’s new beau comes with baggage.
A sweet stepsister, Amelia.
And the bstard of all bstards, Rourke.
Rourke is a senior like me, and he doesn’t want me in his town, much less his home. He’s also hell bent on making sure I know it.
Thing is, I don’t want to be there either, and if Rourke expects me to swan in and kiss his ass to make him like me, he has another thing coming.
I’m nobody’s bitch and he’s about to learn that…
Endgame is a feisty standalone romance. Due to its explicit content, bad language, and graphic sexual content, Endgame is recommended for mature readers of seventeen years and above.

Good and captivating but it dragged and didn’t have much of a climax point before wrapping up.
I liked it. I found myself quickly drawn into the story and yeah, the main male char was annoying but he does have his reasons. The end was rather abrupt and like many others, I would have liked to see that fleshed out, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. Overall it was a compelling read, I would read more stand alones by this author if she chooses to write them. I hope she works on the endings a bit more though.
Rourke Owens and Mercy James have two things in common, they hate each other and hate their parents are having a baby together. Rourke Owens is the definition of jerk. Their push/pull relationship had me hooked from start to finish.I felt the ending was a little uneventful but also the no extra drama was a good touch. If you like stepbrother romance you’ll like Endgame.
This is one of my favorite books
I just love these bully high school romances! So if you’re into them as well better not miss out on this amazing book!
Not only the storyline got me, but the characters and their growth throughout the book as well!
I just love Mercy and I can relate to her so much.
Good job Chloe Walsh
I admire every author for all their hard work. I enjoyed the story, and will read more books written by this author. The characters are adorable and the story telling is consuming. I escaped in a well-written romantic fictional world until I finished reading.
I loved loved loved this book. It kept me gripped throughout and I loved seeing the relationship develop over time whilst they tried to fight their obvious attraction for each other. I needed more from this series and was disappointed to find that the other books aren’t out yet! This is one book I’ll be re-reading for sure.
4.5 stars for ENDGAME by Chloe Walsh
This is my first book from this author and I have to say I am a big fan . The high school , young adult drams is taken to the next level in this story. Rourke is an asshole plain and simple , but he does have reasons. He lost his mom as young age and it has shaped who he is now . Mercy is always the adult when is comes to her and her mothers relationship. She has had to take care of her mother and herself for as long as she can remember. Well she can fix being pregnant for her mother and she cant wait to get away . She isn’t raising another kid for her mom . Rourke dad and Mercy’s mother are both irresponsible . NOw Mercy is moving across country for her senior year of high school to a prep academy . She knows she doesn’t belong there but Rourke makes it all that much more clear.
Rourke calls her 6 and Mercy calls him all kinds of names. She will not back down to him and this drives Rourke crazy . These two start to see different sides of each other but can they move past their past or will they let it ruin what could be their endgame .
This book is filled with drama , heat and so much more . It pulls you in an keeps you captive until the end .
Moody, sexy, rich football jock meets new step sister with nothing. It’s fine right. Angst, sex, and other petty high school drama can all be found in this whirlwind of a book. Rourke is the typical elite a-hole and Mercy, the sexy step sister he doesn’t want to want. Enjoyed it and devoured it quickly.
Chloe Walsh has done it again ..GREAT READ
Good read, couldn’t put it down.
LOVED this book!!!
