Ruthless assassin or irresistible bodyguard?Tiger shifter Cruz Khala doesn’t trust humans. He doesn’t trust destiny either — not even when it sends him the one woman capable of saving his tormented soul. But there’s more than love at stake as merciless shifter forces gather on sunny Maui, intent on stealing a priceless jewel with mysterious powers. Before he knows it, Cruz becomes the last line … the last line of defense between pure evil and the sapphire — and the only one capable of saving his destined mate’s life.
Footloose and carefree? Not anymore. Jody Monroe, pro surfer, is a woman on a mission — until an unknown gunman turns her world upside down. She escapes thanks to a stealthy, enigmatic stranger with haunting, yellow-green eyes who arouses all her fears — and her desires. Cruz is a contradiction: gruff and grouchy, painfully private, yet tender and protective of those he loves. And sexy. Mouthwateringly sexy, all the damn time. Soon, Jody’s life isn’t the only thing on the line — her heart is, too.

Gah! I loved this book and these two wonderful characters with their strength and turmoil throughout this book, but I need to know what happens with Silas! An amazing series so far and I can’t wait for what happens next.
Book 4 in the Aloha Shifters Jewels of the Heart series (Cruz and Jody)
Cruz is a tiger shifter that after his family are killed he eventually finds the other Shifters and they become a family.
Cruz struggles with his past but also sees the other shifters in his team mating and beginning to live there lives to fullest and starting there own families.
My absolute favourite thing in this series is the kitten Keiki, she’s showed Cruz and other tough characters how to be soft and cuddly.
This visual aspect that Anna Lowe develops in this book is fantastic especially Cruz’s home and the description of the home that the ex special forces have for themselves on Maui.
Cruz and Jody are perfect together and I’m really looking forward to seeing others getting there HEA.
Kelsey Osborne has a awesome ability to express each character with their own personalities and mix them beautifully with there female characters as well.
Format: Audiobook
I was looking forward to Cruz’s story and I wasn’t disappointed.
When Cruz sets his sights on Jody (literally) love was the last thing on his mind, as the story unfolds our surly tiger shifter uncovers the truth surrounding his past but can he protect his future from the same fate?
Another enjoyable book from this series, the narrator is easy to listen to and the plot has no trouble keeping you engaged, as for the ending ….. I am now curious to see how things are going to work out for the Aloha shifters dragon leader !
All of the shifters in this series are emotionally damaged in some way, but Cruz seems to show it most. Cruz is a tiger shifter who keeps to the shadows and stays away from people as much as possible. I’m pleased that the full story of why Cruz is such a loner has come out in this book. I have been reading this series since book 1. I am looking forward to book 5. *WARNING* contains sexual content
Take one extremely difficult tiger shifter, put him in the path of an unsuspecting surfer girl and let the sparks fly. Our surfer girl has no idea her “father” is part mermaid nor any idea she’s the guardian of The Waterstone until the bad guys descend upon the photoshoot she’s in and she has to harness all that power. There’s hints of Silas past, comradery with the rest of the guys and their mates and the wonderful antics of Keiki as well, in this next chapter of the series. There’s fast paced action in and out of the Lamborghini too.
I received an ARC of this story and have voluntarily chosen to review it here.
You are missing out if you have not read this authors books.
Once again Ms Lowe gives us another can’t put down book. From the first line till the end we get a fantastic read that has one thinking, what next?
Human hating Tiger shifter Cruz is flummoxed when his tiger won’t let him kill a human woman believed to be responsible for his families murder.
I loved how Cruz was honest right from the start about what he was doing at the party. Him slowly finding his way to a HEA with his tiger giving him advice all the way along was so good.
Jody is doing a modelling assignment, which she hates but she needs to money to help her dad and sister out.
When Cruz saves her from another attempt on her life things really start to speed up. We get Lion shifters and Vampires as the baddies to liven things up.
We really don’t have too many of the group in this one as they are all off doing other things. Silas even gets called away, so when everything comes to a head, it is left up to Cruz and Jody, with the help of the Waterstone to save the day.
Loved having the gang all together at the end and cannot wait for Silas’ story to be told.
One of my favourite things about this series is that these wonderful shifters have conversations with their animal halves too. It makes them seem more real and part of the whole story.
This is my honest review of this book.
Grumpy Cruz finds his mermaid! Cruz was a hard nut to crack. He’s always been a gruff man that doesn’t trust well. In prior books, he is always the sullen one that doesn’t like or want to be around people. This book gave a new view of him. I liked this Cruz the best of all versions we have seen.
Cruz is holding on to his past. Jody is pure sunshine. No matter how bad the stakes or the obstacles, she shines and reaches out to the future by living now. It might be that opposites attract, Cruz’s dark and stormy persona and Jody’s bright and happy attitude. This book definitely brought out the best. The only sad part is that with one more shifter finding his love, the closer the series is to the end.
We also get a bigger teaser about Silas.. happy jazzy hands! There is enough meat on the teases to make you want to beg for Silas’ story. Which I have been waiting for since the very first book.
While this is part of the Aloha Shifters series, it can be read as stand alone without missing anything.
This series does need to be read in order.
Lure of the Tiger is another marvelous addition to the Aloha Shifters: Jewels of the Heart series by Anna Lowe. This is an exhilarating and suspenseful story.
Cruz is an ex-military elite solder who hates humans. Jody is a professional surfer who is regretting her decision to accept a modeling contract.
These two where fun and adorable together. Jody is so full of life. Even when things are bad, she sees the good and looks for the positivity. Cruz hasn’t moved on from his devastating past. He’s a broody tiger shifter, but when Jody pops up in his life he starts to change and learn that life is beautiful. Their romance was sweet and romantic. Besides the romance their is the danger to Jody that they must navigate. Finding out why someone wanted her killed and anticipating another stone poping up.
These ex-military elite solders have made their own family together, but destiny is making sure that they find their soul mates and in the process find peace and hope. This series is so much fun, the characters are unique, the story is entertaining, and the romance is endearing. Can’t wait for the next installment.

I loved it. Cruz is a human hating tiger shifter. His journey to discovering his beliefs in past events were lies is very entertaining. Such eloquent descriptions like “verbally induced orgasm” makes this a real page turner. Highly recommend this book and the entire series.
