A Night in Terror Tower
A truly stellar, historically accurate tale involving TIME TRAVEL (the bestest) and the princes in the tower.
So Sue and her brother are on a trip to the Tower of London, and some creeper dude starts chasing them and weird stuff happens AND IT TURNS OUT Sue and her brother are actually the princes who disappeared in the Tower in the 1400s or whenever and they TRAVELED FORWARD IN TIME and forgot because maybe time travel gives you amnesia? And the executioner ALSO traveled forward in time and now he is chasing them in order TO CUT THEIR HEADS OFF (even though were I a time traveling executioner I’d find a new job).
*After reading the reviews maybe they are NOT actually the princes in the tower?? Which explains why Sue is a girl? Anyways it was great, let’s all be Goosebump characters next Halloween.
Are you ready to spend A Night in Terror Tower? If you think you’re brave enough, R.L. Stine will keep you company. So will Eddie and Sue, the protagonists of this spooktacular Goosebumps adventure! While vacationing in London, they decided to take a tour of the infamous medieval prison and torture chamber while their parents attended an important business conference. For them, it turned out to be a big mistake! Because they found themselves unintentionally locked inside the prison after the tour was over… and pursued by a mysterious, sinister figure in black. When they finally escaped from Terror Tower, they found that their nightmare had only just begun. Because the man in black was still after them. Even worse, they suddenly had the bizarre experience of forgetting who they were. They couldn’t remember anything about their lives, except for their first names. And there seemed to be no record that their family had ever stayed in the hotel. What was happening to them?? And would they ever escape the terror of the man in black?? Eddie and Sue soon discovered that the answer to the whole chilling mystery was connected to Terror Tower, specifically to the story of the prince and princess who had been imprisoned in the tower. If they wanted to end the horror, their only choice was to return to the eerie, dismal prison and torture chamber. There, they would find shocking secrets awaiting them. And it was there that their final horrific struggle for survival would begin! R.L. Stine created such a chilling and suspenseful adventure with this spine-tingling entry in the series that it’s no wonder that it’s a favorite for many fans to read during the Halloween season any more than it’s a favorite episode of the television series for any fan to watch during the same spooky month! This is an excellent horror tale to enjoy reading during any day of the year which is why I recommend it as a great choice to read by this spectacular author any time, but especially now, in October, the creepiest month of the year! I just might manage to finally find my way out of here tonight.
