Their lives are worlds apart. Can love bridge the distance?Mary Larkin was hard at work as the office manager at the Green Mountain Country Store when Cameron Murphy brought her dad, Patrick, in to visit. Mary enjoys her predictable, satisfying life in … Love!
Mary enjoys her predictable, satisfying life in Butler. If it’s a little lacking in excitement, well, that’s okay with her. But after meeting Patrick and getting to know him better at his daughter’s wedding, Mary is intrigued by the well-known, sexy billionaire businessman.
Patrick is equally intrigued. For the first time since he suddenly lost his wife thirty years ago, he has met a woman who makes him feel less lonely, and all he wants is more of his Sweet Mary from Vermont. Flirty phone calls become a weekend away together that takes his relationship with Mary to the next level.
But with six hours and two vastly different lives standing between them, can Mary and Patrick find happily ever after together? And after telling her father to keep his hands and everything else off Mary, will Cameron approve of her father’s new romance?

A sweet story.
It’s nice to read about an older couple, as they are not as common. It was refreshing to read about Mary and Patrick, their differences, what they had in common, how stablished they are in life.
There was little to no drama, so this is a good book when you need to just relax and enjoy some nice, sexy times.
Patrick is Cameron’s dad, from “All You Need is Love” and Mary is the country store’s office manager. He takes her on a whirl wind romance to find love in the second part of their lives.
Any story that takes me back to Butler, Vermont is a great book! And this one is extra special! I absolutely love Mary and Patrick together. Their chemistry was explosive and their romance was oh so sweet!
And it’s not complete unless there’s page time with the large and loud Abbott family. It’s always fun to catch up with this crazy bunch. There’s also a bonus epilogue with some hints about the next book! I’m really looking forward to it!
CAN’T BUY ME LOVE is a lovely read that will have your heart full to busting with all the good feels! I highly recommend this or any book in the Butler, VT or Green Mountain series!
***I voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of the book in 2017 in exchange for an honest review***
excellent author. I read all her books when they come out.
I love anything by Marie Force one of my favorite authors.
I loved this book about Mary and Patrick. Patrick is one cocky son of a gun, but man did he win me over. This book actually takes place simultaneously with some of the other Green Mountain, Butler, Vermont Series. I felt so good reading this book. I cried happy tears. I smiled. I just enjoyed this romance from this older couple. Of course, we had our Fred the Moose sighting. Dual point of view. No cliffhanger. Love this series and family.
Love all the Butler Vermont Series
I’ve read several of Marie Force’s books. They are pretty much all the same, plenty of sexual scenes between a couple of people and there are always issues they must work around in order to be together, but it always works out. Boring!
Great that the characters were older!
Another great read from my favorite author Marie Force.
I had been eager to read this book. It was a different story for me as the ‘related’ books were of the younger generation. It was an easy reading book-which I also liked.
The only negative issue was with so much detailed steamy scenes. I am so tired of reading the same language of every single detail that I’m pulling away from adult books. I don’t have a problem with an occasional discussion of every move made, but when most of the book contains repeated sexual words then enough already. I realize this is what the majority of readers are expecting than it’s obviously my problem. There is nothing like a romance without all explicit sex talk.
I am sorry for this negative problem on my part, and I seldom complain.

This series is a great read, characters are wonderful and funny.
Love this series. Glad to read a book about characters older than 30.
Great story. Love the series!
Love all this series and most all of Marie’s books. Easy to read, great characters and looking for next one.
Very disappointing! I have read this entire series and loved all the books until this one. Their was no story basically they met and had sex, he traveled and every time he came back they had more sex I detailed scenes that was the entire book.
