A new life on the horizon. An old flame at the door. When a dead body turns up in the freezer, one woman’s island lifestyle turns stormy… Katie Connell’s new life in St. Marcos is cruising right along. She’s got a restaurateur boyfriend, a singing venture with her best friend, and a new streak of sobriety. Even better, she’s purchased a rainforest home that came complete with a centuries-old … centuries-old house ghost. With her legal career well behind her, she’s hopeful her new chapter will lead her to happiness.
But when a man from her past enters the picture, a murder in her boyfriend’s restaurant and a child in need throw everything into chaos. Forced to choose between the spirited house that saved her and a man who may just be the love of her life, Katie almost yearns for the simpler dramas she faced as a lawyer. Can she make the right choice without slipping back into the destructive ways of the past?

Loved, Loved, Loved!!!
Couldn’t put it down! Loved the plot twists, but I highly recommend reading Saving Grace before Leaving Annalise. Saving Grace develops the characters and situations, and Leaving Annalise lets them blossom and twist. Truly enjoyed this book and look forward to continuting in the series!
Wow! About half way through Saving Grace, the first book in this series, I wasn’t sure that I’d read the others. Well, that changed with the last 4-5 chapters of Saving Grace. By the time I finished I knew I had to start the second book immediately. I wouldn’t say that Saving Grace ended on a cliffhanger, but it certainly leaves you wanting to …

Ready for more adventure with our attorney Katie turned islander? I so was and this book didn’t disappoint. This story had so much to it. People who we thought we had figured out in book one totally turned out to be different. I am not going to give details because there are many surprises in this book and they start in the …
I always knew there was more to Nick’s speech than Katie allowed him to say. Granted she was in a bad space at the time and I think things worked out the way they were supposed to. Annalise let’s herself be known when he arrives at the island home but nothing comes easy to Katie or Nick. Little mysteries and big a like trouble the island and …

I enjoyed this book. It is book two in the series and was nice to catch up with what feels like old friends and to find out the next chapter in Katie’s life. This was more of a romance story with a side story of mystery but I still enjoyed it. I love the idea of the haunted house and the way she plays a big part …
Hooked!
Did not enjoy as much as the first in series.
