She’s unable to resist him… and a hard body.
Following a night of beer and shots, her resistance runs out, and he finally does check her box. And Elise knows that it can never happen again.
Luke had always thought of Elise as the pretty girl that was friends with his roommate’s girlfriend, but now she’s all grown up. When their night of passion rocks Luke’s world he realizes he must have her again.
The two enter a friends-with-benefits relationship with the agreement that they’re just going to have fun.
But all that changes when Luke steps in to help Elise, and now the player she avoided is the person she doesn’t want to live without.
Friends with Benefits was previously published under the title Dirty (Naughty #1).

The first book in the Dirty Love series a well written story that held my interest until the end. This is Elise Phillips who comes back to her hometown because her dad is sick she meets Luke Long and her friends again. I enjoyed seeing this story come together. I want to read the next book in this series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Friends with Benefits was my second story by R.L. Kenderson and I loved it just like this first one. Luke and Elise were simply amazing together. Mutual attraction between them and chemistry that cannot be denied. Elise is home to care for her sick father when she is reunited with Luke. They decide to enter into a friends with benefits situation but how long will that be enough for them before real feelings are confessed? Add to that are Elise’s super conservative parents. Definitely recommend.
I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. Elise has moved home to help after her father becomes ill. She reconnects with friends from college, including Luke. She did not ever want to become one of his conquests. A combination of alcohol and the attraction they feel leads them to sleep together. Luke finds that he wants to be more for her. Elise will have to decide if she trusts her heart and Luke. He is there for her when she needs him and it makes all the difference. I enjoyed the characters in this story. The book was well written and I am looking forward to what comes next in the series

Hilarity ensues when these two get together, the chemistry is out of this world. Loved all the flirting and just how much Luke goes to help Elise. This was a first time author for me and I thought this book was absolutely fantastic, great characters and good storyline of this contemporary read of friends who start with benefits and turn into so much more.
I am voluntarily leaving a review for this book that I received free.
Elise and Luke knew each other in college through mutual friends but she never wanted to get involved with the king of one-night stands. Years later she moves back home when her father was ill and runs into Luke again where they started up a friends-with-benefits that soon turned into so much more. Loved this funny steamy romance and both Luke and Elise were great characters.
Elise has moved back to her hometown as her father is ill and she doesn’t know how much time she has left with him. She hasn’t seen Luke for quite some time. He had been a hockey player and was gorgeous. He was also a flirt at college. At least Elise hadn’t slept with him at college as a lot of other girls had. When they see each other again, she thinks he is just the same as he was before. But they end up having a one-night stand. It must be kept secret as their friends had warned each of them separately not to get together. Him not hurting her and her not getting hurt from him. One night only. Except more than one night. Super-hot chemistry. An ill father. Very, very conservative parents. Did I say very, very? Yup, correct. Very. A sister living a lie. A doctor. Who’s a doctor? Serious hotness. A confession. Oops, another confession. Darn, what a good book this was. Loved it.
This is book one in the Dirty Love series. I love this authors books. They entertaining, emotional, with a touch of drama but not so much it makes you feel like you’re on the set of a reality TV show. This author is definitely on my favorite author reading list.
Elise is home again to be near her dad. He has cancer and she doesn’t want to miss spending time with him in case the worst happens. She’s known Luke Since College since he best friend Rachel dated Luke’s roommate Sean; you can read their story in the novella Rumor Has It. Elise has always prided herself in the fact she avoided Luke since he was a huge player. Now they’re older and having a hard timekeeping their hands of each other. The end up in a friend’s benefits deal, I mean what could possibly go wrong, right? Will these two admit that they want more outg their deal? Maybe, just maybe they’re more than just friends.

Friends with Benefits is the first book in the Dirty Love series by R.L. Kenderson. This book for me was a perfect friends to lovers rom com filled with funny exchanges and some VERY steamy scenes. It has all the feels for pure enjoyment and escape.
Elise and Luke had gone to college together over a decade ago but regardless of their secret attraction for each other they never went beyond a friendship. When they reconnect years later however a lot changes when their attraction cannot be denied any more and they find themselves in what they believe is a friends with benefits arrangement. An arrangement that they must also keep a secret after promising their best friends that they would not get involved with each other so that no one gets hurt but as fate would have it those “benefits” turn into so much more for each of them. This book checks all the boxes one would need in a rom com! Perfect weekend read.
