Reader Praise for Douglas Dorow & The Ninth District
Addicting!
The story kept me so enthralled that I neglected to eat until I finished it!
Reminded me of Robert Crais. Similar hook and fast, exciting pace.
Very exciting, right up there with Michael Connelly and James Patterson
If John Sandford has a nephew, he might well be Douglas Dorow…writing reminds me of Sandford and not just because the novel is set in MN.
I love the Catherine Coulter FBI books, so I decided to read this one. It was quite a surprise! It’s an exciting book that is fast-paced and a fun read. I like books that “make” me want to keep reading.
Great story line, loved the characters. Excellent buildup of the suspense
Reading this thriller was sheer enjoyment! Douglas Dorow has a special talent for developing both, a story and the perfect cast of characters to bring it to life.
THE NINTH DISTRICT is a quick read guaranteed to grab your attention from the Get-GO.
Taut Exciting and Great Read! Bravo Mr. Dorow!

Good solid story, kept you engaged but ending wasn’t as strong as expected.
I truly enjoyed this book up to the ending. The end seemed to indicate the FBI closed the case without finding the “mastermind” behind the cyber aspect. That is not realistic and the would have remained open until that was resolved.
I enjoyed the book pretty much up to the end, but the ending was terrible. It left you with a lot of unanswered questions about the story and questions about why did the author write the plot like this. Why did he have people do stuff that had nothing to do with the ending. Maybe I’m old school but I want a book to end and not have me thinking …
Keeps your interest and flows smoothly.
Tried it. When the villain put the puppy in the drain, I decided I didn’t care enough about the Federal Reserve to continue.
Steady As She Goes Debut Thriller
The Ninth District: An FBI Thriller by Douglas Dorow starts with a horrific crime. A masked gunman shoots a pregnant woman in a bank and salutes the financial institution’s cameras. From that set-up, veteran FBI Special Agent Jack Miller teams up with the new kid on the block Agent Ross Fruen to crack this …
Great book, good writing, willlook for the next in the series and others by this author. Reads like Michael Connelly.
This is very well-written book with lots of twists and turns. Kept me interested to the end. Can’t wait for the next in the series.
“Read for the THRILL of it” the author Douglas Dorow’s tag line, really sums up why to read his books. The Ninth District is book 1 in a new series, hopefully having a long and many installment life. Supercell is the next book by this author and of this series. Both books should be on the readers’ must read list. This is an action packed, page …
