Helena’s life is back to normal. College, friends, family…everyone’s happy. Yet, she can’t understand what is missing. No matter how hard she tries to fake her excitement about a new movie or laugh over a cup of coffee during lunch, it doesn’t feel right.Peace doesn’t last long. A demon appears, claiming to be her friend and lifts the memory block Lucious had put up. Outraged he had done this to … done this to her, she decides to go against her family’s wishes and pursue him in London. Only one problem remains: she’s losing control of her body.
Lucious is unable to mend his broken heart. He grew complacent and cares little about the proceedings of the Council while Kallias takes the lead. With the hunter threat growing and the werewolves no longer willing to help stabilise London, to unify the vampires all over the world, Kallias believes it is time to awaken the one true leader—Arthemis.
The full cycle comes to an end. Lilia and Helena are faced with the original vampire. Despite their differences, a choice must be made with grave sacrifices. Will they save humanity or let vampires rule the world?

https://www.goodreads.com/review/sI am having trouble finding the words to describe how much I loved this book. It was fantastic from beginning to end. A great addition to the series and I love how Helena grows throughout the book. It was amazing!! If you love urban fantasy, this series is for you!!

Helena and Luscious have had so many ups and downs and that does not change in this book. Someone or something is always gunning for their happiness, and trouble will always seem to find them.
However, I love that the danger changes throughout the book, and that there hasn’t been just 1 “villain” dragging on throughout the series. It’s been a refreshing change to most series I have read.
As I’ve said before I truly have enjoyed this story line so far. But again I still have questions.
Andrew is still missing
Alexander wasnt a help at all, and yes
Luscious is mad at him but…..
*both were super strong characters that went out of their way to help Luscious and/or Helena, and although I understand they arent main characters their sudden lack of caring just doesn’t make any sense*
Why hasnt the question of turning Perri or Helena ever been brought up?
I will definitely finish the series in hopes some of my questions will be answered. And that at the end, some peaceful happy ending will prevail.
I’ve read several books written by May Freighter; she has done a great job at writing a good book; she is becoming one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of books her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.
I loved the chemistry between the characters.

After leaving me nearly incoherent at the end of the previous book, this one proceeded to put me through the wringer all over again. And I simply don’t know the right words to explain how fantastic this book was without digging myself deep into spoiler territory. This book is more straight-forward in where the threats are coming from, but that doesn’t mean it’s any less exciting. It’s filled with action that goes by in a breathless blur and kept me on the edge of my seat for the entire book. I loved seeing Helena and Lucious further grow and develop, both as individuals and as a team. I adored this chance to learn more about the Fates, the Father of all vampires, and his royal children. I’m grateful that this book leaves them in ‘a good place’ in the calm of the storm, because this pair hasn’t known a lot of peace and I know it won’t last long.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author.
Fated Origins by May Freighter is the stand alone fourth book in the Helena Hawthorne series and begins right after Crumbling Control ends. In this book, Helena has moved to Clearwater, Florida in the United States after her memories of the vampire Lucious and other paranormals were hidden. However, with one touch from an old friend Helena regains her memories of everything. Now with her memories returned she soon loses control of her body when the fate Lilia takes control to take over the world. This book is an exciting adventure with a full on fight of good versus evil with Helena and Lucious on the front lines trying to save each other and the world. This enchanting story is full of compelling action and an adventure and a love that could lead to the end of the world or save it. Anyone who enjoys an epic tale of romance will love this amazing story like I do. Fated Origins is an epic tale of love overcoming evil.
I really enjoyed the continuation of the series! The story had a good flow and developed well. I loved it and would recommend it to others.

This book conclude a lot of the issues in a very satisfying way. They also make way for problems for upcoming books but it’s nice to have a “season finale”. I read it in one sitting cause I was hooked. I’m really looking forward to the next book.
As expected this series always keeps you hooked. Helena living with a veil on her life thinking life is just perfect, but in the back of her mind something isn’t right. After the block is removed she knows she must find Lucious. Lucious on the other end is heartbroken with what he did and losing Helena. With new twits and turns is this book can they finally admit their feeling for each other and can they save humanity? Been a great series so far.

Even when things seem back to normal, you know that is not true. For Helena, it has been three months since she moved to Clearwater with her parents. But she felt empty, as if something was missing, some part of her that she couldn’t remember. Exercising didn’t help. The loneliness was always there. Her thoughts kept turning to Dublin. Her mother was suffocating her, and she even had a curfew! Her best friend Britney picked her up and they headed for the university campus.
Helena was cursing her classes at the end of the day. Her mother had insisted she change to Marketing as her major instead of History and Mythology; otherwise she could not attend the university. She still could not recall the details of her accident 3 months ago. Her parents told her it was best forgotten. But then why were no bones broken after such a severe car accident? She had lost all memories of the past year, not just those from the time of the accident. But trying to remember gave her a headache. When she finds out who blocked her memories, she will be furious! Will life again spiral out of control? Will Lucious and Helena ever acknowledge the love they have for each other?
There is still so much going on in this book. I love the interaction of the characters with each other, clearly showing their personalities to the reader. This author’s books are excellent and I highly recommend this amazing series!
Super
This series gets better and better more action more drama more intrigue. Helena and Lucious have found a love that will conquer anything as proven by the trials and tribulations so far. I can’t wait to see what’s next !!
This book continues the saga of Helena and Lucious so it is necessary to read the prior books first.
I waited with bated breath for this to come out. I was not disappointed. I stumbled upon the first book in this series and fell in love. May Freighter has a talent for writing and I expect to see her around for a long time. From that first book I was pulled into the world and have loved every minute of it. The characters are well developed and complex. I love that the “hero” isn’t always a nice guy. It makes it more believable because let’s face it…nobody is perfect. I find when reading one of her books that I can’t put it down because I’m dying to find out what happens. I am looking forward to see where she will take us next. And now I HAVE to wait because the next book isn’t out yet! UGH!!! 🙂
However, I found out that Ms. Freighter is working on some peripheral characters’ stories and this too has me excited. I can’t wait to find out more about Alexander in particular. I know the additional books will be good because May Freighter has only written good books (and I have read them all!)
