Read the entire series. I liked the books but there was so much left out about things brought up in thoughts and conversations that I wanted to have been given some more insight into.
This book sat in my kindle library patiently waiting for so long. if I had of known the deliciousness that lie between the pages, wowzers!
Play Along was a book I came across by chance and thank god for that… it was the start of my love affair with TL SWAN and her writing for sexy alpha bad boys and the girls to capture their hearts!
What stood out about this book was the realness. The actions, words and even movements of the characters were what i would imagine in real life. The main characters totally captured me from the get go and the storyline was action-packed, i furiously turned pages wanting to know what was going to happen next!
Exciting, erotic and real… no one is Playing along in this stunner. This book will always be a favourite of mine, so much so, i purchased the paperback and met the author!
From the first pages, PLAY ALONG had my heart in my throat anticipating the worst would be found around the next corner. You’ll get the feeling early on that there is a lot more that is not being told in the story.
As the time Rosh and Mac spend together increases the fact that they have really hot chemistry but don’t trust anyone is easily apparent. Rosh will blow you away with some of her choices and Mac both loves and hates what she gets tangled up in.
But the emotion that comes through strongest is this deep and desperate love that seems doomed at every turn. It’s really gripping and carries through every adventure and suspenseful moment. TL Swan creates twists and conflicts that are on one hand surprising yet on the other hand make so much sense. Fabulous read.
I loved this book. Such an easy read and I love Stace
This is such a great mafia type book that will keep you begging for more. If you like TL Swan you will love this book!
INTENSE, GRIPPING, HOT!!
PLAY ALONG by T.l Swan is full of angst, danger, twists and turns I was completely hooked, mesmerised and I loved the audio version of this book, the Narrators really brought the characters to life and made some of the scenes more intense.
Roshina has a sneaky suspicion that her best friend and her boyfriend of a few years are doing the dirty on her and when they both tell her they are away for the night, her boyfriend with work and her best friend with something else, she knows they are both sneaking away together for a night and she does what any suspicious woman would do, follows them to see her herself. Roshina discovers them both in a nightclub grinding on each other and after a confrontation rushes out back of the club and witnesses a murder.
Roshina is a witness, she is kidnapped, talk about going from one bad situation from another but this is only the beginning of Roshina’s nightmare when she finds her self on a container ship full of randy hungry men and criminals.
It isn’t nice reading about rape or attempted rape so the beginning of this book is a bit gruesome although Mac did come to her rescue and claim her for himself and to survive her time on the ship for weeks they had to play along and let the others believe they were together.
Mac is the men in charge of the ships cargo, he holds power on board but he has his own hidden agenda’s for being there and in the process of his mission he becomes close to Rochelle, the woman he kidnapped to ultimately save. They both end up saving each other down the line and in the process find love
The plan was for Rochelle to leave as soon as they docked but things don’t exactly go to plan in this book full of surprising twists and turns.
An unconventional love story, filled with suspense, thrills, and a roller coaster journey to a hea. Told in first person dual pov. I enjoyed it and would recommend to anyone who likes something with a bit more on the edgy and on the dangerous side.
I am a pretty big fan of TL Swan – easy read that I just enjoy the chaos and conflict with the emotional connection. BUT – I can say that when I read the description of this one I held off. Even had it resting in my reader for a while. I was not a fan of what I thought the concept was going to be.
I was wrong.
I enjoyed growing with the characters and understanding the pain and love. It kept me turning the pages and full of hope!
After seeing her boyfriend cheat with her bestie, she witnesses a murder and everything turns to hell.
She’s kidnapped on a shipping container and will be released in 28 days.
I found this story strange and I’m not sure how to think about it.
I did, however, love the two main characters, they had chemistry, they seemed to gel well together.
The story takes a different turn than I thought.
Good plot and an interesting twist at the end.
It started out well but then became rather convoluted and unbelievable
Really good but too repetitive. We could have done without at least one or two “go away/come back” episodes. Otherwise, really good. I was just ready for it to be over about 20% before it was actually over. However, I do recommend it if you subscribe to KU. Don’t buy it, though. It’s not worth the cash IMO.
